All time favorite Disney movie? That would have to be Toy Story. I remember seeing it for the first time and was just in awe. It was the first animation of its kind.

...

But the heck with PALO, on to more important things... MANASSAS?? Where in Manassas and do I know you LOL... I havent seen you here on the boards before or I would have seen Manassas.. We moved from Manassas to Richmond 3 years ago, lived there for 20 years and I call Manassas home. Details, I need details LOL

Welcome to the group.. Make sure you visit our website and then let us know if you want to do fish extenders, lanyards, etc..

Hello...We have lived in Manassas for about 15 years. I live near Round Elementary. You probably don't know me because when I'm not working (public commute to Herndon...about 2 hrs EACH way :headache:), I'm a homebody, :) .

Can you post the link to the website? Thanks, Charlene

Well I guess we were neighbors then :) We lived in the townhomes off of Hasting and Lucasville until we moved 3 1/2 years ago. Before there I lived over near Weems and my DH lived over near Metz.

My youngest still lives in Manassas, he bought a house near Signal Hill and is a firefighter/medic with Fairfax City. He and his fiance will be on the cruise with us as well.

Both my boys went to Round, Metz and OHS.. Go Eagles :). I remember the commute well.. I did Manassas to Backlick (22 miles 1 1/2 hours) each day and when we moved to Richmond I did Richmond to Backlick for 2 years (110 miles , 2 hours). Those here in Richmond thought I was crazy, they just don't understand :)

So glad you are joining us and I can't wait to meet you. Can you please bring me some Tony's Pizza as well as a Nathan's milkshake when you come. I miss both desperately and always go there when I drive home..

Who is traveling with you??

Two hour commute each way? Wow, 66 must be getting worse and worse. I grew up in Reston and lived in Vienna before moving out here to MD 5 years ago.

Welcome to the group!!!

Hello Fellow Cruisers:

I believe I am addicted to the boards.

We had a nasty storm come through Central Jersey last night around 6:15 PM and that knocked out power to our block. It was not to bad having to cook dinner by camping latterns, luckily we have an older stove that still uses a pilot light so at least we could cook, and warm up leftovers on the rangetop. The girls enjoyed it once the storm moved through; which only lasted about 40 minutes, but boy did it wallop a punch.

Luckily it broke our 86 degree temps at the time and lower the humidity since we were without AC because of the power. Needless to say though we were still without power when we went to bed at 11:30. It was tough on Diane and I since no power meant no blender, which meant no Friday night frozen strawberry margaritas or peach daquaris!:headache:

Now to the addiction part!:rotfl2:

We just got power back on at 5:30 this morning and what was the first thing that I needed to do? You guessed it power up the computer and and bring up the thread to see if I missed anything important! Thank goodness that did not happen tonight as a castaway Club member I plan to be poised to place our excursion and palo reservations at 12:01 Sunday morning.

Hopefully I will not have to be doing it in the car with my laptop in some parking lot borrowing a wireless hotspot!:surfweb:

Well I guess I should start resetting clocks on the VCR/DVD, timers for the lights and check the refrigerator and freezers to make sure everything survived 23 hours or so without power.

Take Care everyone!

Steve :lmao:

Steve - Sorry to hear about the storms, glad they didn't do any lasting damage..

The cruise threads are critical the next 3 months so we understand your addiction :lmao: :lmao:

The chat room will be open at 11:00 this evening if anyone wants to jump in gab while we wait for midnight. I am not booking Palo but still want to get mine done.

I just did my one WDW ADR this morning. It was really strange only doing one LOL

3 months from today we are in Key West (and its my birthday :yay: )

OMG! I think I would cry if the power went out tonight. We know which computer I will NOT be logged into tonight. :rotfl:

Welcome to the group!!!

That's using public transportation, lol. If I was driving it would be a 45-minute commute each way...:headache:

No problems booking any of our excursions or Palo brunch. There were lots of openings for Palo for brunch/dinner. I am so excited right now, how can I ever go to back to bed?

Hi everyone,

We signed on for the cruise about a month ago but recently found the cruise meets link. Just read through the many post, We are also from NJ, as a lot of others on the ship are as well. Kids were very excited about signing up for excursions tonight and we also got our Palo Ressie.

Can we be included in the Lanyards and meet up groups. It is myself (John), DW(Susanne) and DD 13, DS 12 and DS 8.

Thanks, Looking forward to meeting everyone

John

Welcome John and Family!!

I was able to get all of my reservations: Palo, spa treatments for each of us and an excursion in Cozumel. It was easy!!

Sorry I missed the chat. I was picking up mom from work.

I will try to get on the chat on Sunday.
