I was wonder if there was one for those not old enough to type (or even read). My DS is 7 and DD is 4. But I bet they would like to try this once and talk to other kids. Parents of course would do the reading and the typing.
Probably too much effort to schedule weekly, but maybe worth trying once a month?

I would like this too. My DD is 9 and would love to talk to others but her typing skill is minimal and would take her too long to write a response. My wife or I would need to type for her also. If not regularly scheduled, maybe at least a couple of times so the kids could meet and say hi.

But if the regularly scheduled chat can accomodate these kids then we'll work into those as well. We couldn't make yesterday's so we'll/I'll watch next week's and see how that goes. If I think she would fit there then we'll/she'll jump in. Still, Jeff it's a good idea for the younger kids who probably need a little more time.

I will get right on that!!! Actually, I thought the same thing so give me a few days to work it our and I will make it bigger. I don't have the files at work.

I don't see any reason why you can't read the stuff to the kids and then, type for them. That's what Jen was doing for her dd last week when she was studying for a test at the same time we were on. I can't see why there would be any problems.

Last night, we only had 2 kids in the chat. With only a few, the younger ones should be able to keep up pretty well with an adults help.

I think this is doable. My DS will be 8 on the cruise and he wants to have a friend for the cruise. As posted previously, my DD was suppose to study for a test so i would not let her get online. But i typed questions and answers for her so it worked.

Without getting to difficult, maybe a chat based on each kids club, so they are chatting with others they will be with. Definitly might be too much every week, but a monthly for younger age groups.???/?

I know that not everyone wants/needs to know this, but I thought I would update those that knew the situation about my dd.....

We went back to the doctor today. She STILL looks like death warmed over. The doctor's visit went well. The doctor *really* listened to her chest and decided to give her a breathing treatment. It worked well, so we came home with a nebulizer, a prescription for Albuterol, and a different antibiotic. She isn't nuts about the antibiotic, but wasn't upset about the nebulizer because it is made to look like a panda. LOL! She loves that it's a panda, even if she doesn't really like doing the treatment.

He said that her ears were very red - and showed me one of them Yikes!! - and that she had some infection in her chest (same thing as pneumonia, I would guess, but not sure).


Hopefully, these will help her feel better. The office will call tomorrow to check on us.

Fever was still up on Monday afternoon, but it was better once we started the new antibiotic and the nebulizer. She's doing a LOT better today.

I really hope your daughter is feeling better soon. I don't know all the details, but my dd (5) has been on nebulizers before. They are now saying she has lung allergy asthma. This has been going on since she's been 3 off and on mostly related to the weather I think. Let us know how she is doing. My thoughts are with you.

Thank you! It's helping a lot. This is the 2nd time that she's had lunch issues. I 'm hoping it's not a trend.

Looks like early Oct, Disney will be releasing both Toy Story 1 and Toy Story 2 in 3-D. I hope that means we will have both of them on our cruise.

That's awesome!! That would be great fun, but it says that they are only going to be released for 2 weeks. We might be out of luck.

I hope not. DCL typically has movies long after they are gone from the theaters right. Also, the article is a little vague, but it could just be that for 2 weeks it will be a double feature with the added Toy Story 3 preview, but after that doesn't mean they are gone.
I would find it hard to believe that Disney would go through the effort of converting both of these classic films into 3-D just to have them in the theaters for 2 weeks.

I sure hope you're right!!! It would be great to see those. I love those movies. My youngest hasn't seen them because we just have them on VHS .... somewhere.
