Kathy had to cancel out of the cruise, I am taking over the FE list and the current one is listed 2 posts above this one and on my webserver - http://dcl.trapperhq.com/20111030/FE_List.htm or http://www.trapperhq.com/dcl/20111030/FE_List.htm

As for the CM list, I am wary of publishing that on the webserver as I am not sure if everyone is "ok" with their infomation available to everyone. But I will still have it to email if someone does want it.

Hi guys!
Sadly, I just had to cancel the cruise. We were 10/30 only. We had to switch over to 7 nights in WDW b/c DH cannot be "unreachable" as he puts it this soon after a promotion. He feels while in WDW he can be easily contacted by work. What kind of vacation is that?
We booked a gazillion years ago and it is a real bummer to cancel so close to the sail date.
I tried to replace it with a 2012 spring cruise but they are all really expensive this late in the game. I am going to have to jump on a 2013 sailing on the Fantasy as soon as those are released.
I hope you all have a wonderful time and I will def be thinking of you (prob w/ a few tears) as I am pounding the pavement at MK on the 30th.

Not that it might much help now. Cell phones do work on the ship, they just charge a gazillion cents a minute but, they do work now.. Also, f you have a smartphone with skype you can use the any wi-fi (love the free ones) to make cheap calls as well (I have done this from my iPhone both in the Bahamas and Europe to my folks back in Nebraska).

But, I understand the uncertainty after a promotion and I have answered tech support calls from WDW before (during one trip, I caught them by surprised when they asked me to come in when the call wasn't enough and I said I couldn't as I was 3000 miles away - they didn't realize I was on vaca, just followed their procedure to call).

So, I will remove your two cabins (9174/9175) from the FE list unless you state otherwise.

what type of work wont let him go away for 4days unreachable if the vacation is preplanned. thats not fair and you guys will be missed but at least you get to go to wdw

Thanks for the support! Dh is in sales and it is high pressure. I think it is ridiculous that he won't go, but he feels like it would make a bad impression to take off so soon. He says that at least from wdw he will be able to get emails on his phone and answer calls as needed. Apparently the 4th quarter is very impt at work. it doesn't help that his bosses are work-a-holics!
I did do a lot of research about the Internet and phone access while away, but never thought of skype. I have the app on my iPhone, but I guess he couldn't receive call on it from clients and coworkers anyways. it is def a bummer, but at least I get a 7 day fantasy sailing out of it...hopefully!
