Hey everyone....Happy Friday.....yaaa it is the weekend

Zacksmom: We would be in. I have bought lime green shirts but I could use them for WDW. Actually DH and Ds would be happy if I returned there shirts as I bought them golf shirts and they don't like them so they would be happy to have another alternative....lol

Packing....I have been packing since my last vacation.....lol

I have a spare bedroom that the suitcases are set up in and I just throw things in as I buy them.....I can't wait to start officially packing...is today to early. :cool1:

I have been checking out the DCL photo of the day....wow, now I see why so many of you cruise and cruise again. I can not wait to get on board. My only fear is sea sickness.....fingers are crossed that, that doesn't happen.

I have booked our departing flight but still hoping for a DING for my return flight. Car rentals are taken care of. Only thing I still have to do other then SHOP is extend our WDW stay we have decided to arrive on Wed instead of Thurs so we can hit 3 parks and might get to AK quickly on the Friday just to do our favorites.

I think I have asked this before but can't remember....have the Kids of this cruise got a thread going??? My DS has tried but didn't get any responses. They are anxious to meet other kids from the cruise before we go. Just a thought.

Have a great day all.

Kim

if any one is looking for airfare from the new york/ new jersey area. i got my dw and i a roundtrip fare of 292.16 for both of us leaving on oct.28 thru nov.5 out of laguardia airport with 1 stop in atlanta, i thought this was a great deal.. i found it on orbitz.com .

also we are using fltour limo service. has anyone used this service. it seems they come highly recommended from this site..

hockeychic,

I have already put a request into my friend about designing the shirts. I will keep everyone posted about the progress. She is very talented, and if she has the time......we can expect great things! :jumping1:

to zachsmom

let me know about t-shirts not to many people where i live for lime green t-shirts with graphics

Hey all! Glad to see when I logged on this morning we were #1 :cool1:

Its so fun to see people coming back to the thread and checking in!
:jumping1:

Hi Julie!! :wave2:

I'm in for shirts! I know somewhere I have seen a website here or mousesavers.com maybe where you can order shirts. That would be fun. I'll see if I can find it.

Packing....flights....limos....hotels....Yep sure sounds familiar! I had an empty rubbermaid type container I was putting (OK throwing) things into as I bought them - and I thought whoa...its way too early. Glad to hear I am not the only one!!

Speaking of packing....We have a formal night, a semi-formal night and Palo dinner if we make ressies. This sounds like 3 dresses. So my question is this-does everyone wear black? Is your formal dress floor length? Semi formal is short yes? but are most black.....I found a smoking deal on an all black satin full length formal but am thinking maybe its too formal??
:scared1:  :faint: I am making myself crazy!!

Let's not forget pirate night! Cheri...are you in for wench costumes? Good grief....how many suitcases can I bring? Is there a luggage limit? :rotfl2:

Off to day camp - DD that is....I wish there was mommy day camp...Now that would be fun!!

Have a great day!

Bobby and Cindy

Hey Bobby and Cindy. Glad you are still with us.

I would love one of those signs. Unfortunatley I do not have a cabin number as yet as I am booked under a guarantee. I love the middle one with the Happy Halloween. Also stating it was the Eastern Cruise would be great. Our last name is Bowers and I love all of the characters so you can surprise me :teeth: This is so nice of you to offer to do this for us.

Ok, this is about my 3rd or 4th post today...can you tell I don't want to work today....lol Good thing it is Friday. :goodvibes

I am just working on clothing right now for the special dinners. I have dress that I love that is a burgandy color and if I am successful in my dieting I will wear that for probably the semi formal dinner. I am not sure about formal but probably black.

Wenches eh??? That sounds fun....I will have to start looking....lol

So who else is online today to chat with me.....I don't wanna work..

Kim

Kim:

:wave2: I am here with you! I keep checking in today also!! I know what you mean about the cruise getting closer....I first found this thread last summer after I booked and now we're less than 100 days...YIPPEE!!
:jumping1:

Dieting...yes, trying that also. I guess the venti frappacino this morning isn't helping. I enlisted the help of a friend who is a personal trainer just yesterday. I told her I had 100 days to get into a bathing suit! :scared1:

MoranClan: LOVE THE DOOR MAGNETS!! We definitely want one. I also like the middle one with Happy Halloween. I will confer with DH and finalize plans with you.

OK-time to pick up from Day Camp. Where does the time go?? :confused3

Couple of things...first I think I have everyone's Palo High Tea information.
I'm working on getting that booked.

Second, I had the BEST day yesterday. It started out by getting a DING fare on Southwest--all 4 of us are flying for the cruise now--$330 roundtrip for ALL of us--$33 each segment!!! WOOO HOOO!! Then I got a beautiful formal night dress for Tara (and it was ON SALE for a VERY reasonable price) So it was a good news cruise day.

For those that asked--Palo high tea is held on at-sea days and consists of teas, scones, and more and the surcharge is $5 per person. It's held at 3:30 p.m.

Sue Ellen

Forgot--I'd love a door magnet. Something like the one that says Halloween cruise, and Eastern, a combination of the last 2. How nice of you to offer.

Sue Ellen

You can count me in on the magnet too. How do we order them? Also we'd be interested in the t-shirts.

Any news on trick or treating for the kid's?

On another subject are any of the guy's wearing a tux or am I going to be all alone on Formal night. I think DW will wear a gold gown for formal night. If only I could find a matching cumberbund and tie.

Hi Tinkryansmom :wave2:

I would love Dh to wear a tux however, he is going to wear a black suit. Not sure about DS yet, might just be dress pants, shirt and a tie.

What a couple you will make black tux and a gold gown...it will be gorgeous.

SueEllen, WTG on the flights.....I am still waiting for a DING for my flight home...I am waiting patiently....really I am :rotfl:

:wave2:

MoranClan!!! Glad to see ya' again!!!!

Thank you so much for the offer to do the magnets...yes please, we would like a couple of them as well! ::yes:: Whatever you do will be fine. Beano & I are in room 8030. Let me know what other info you need.

Johnna...

I have worn many colored gowns for formal and semi ... women wear all kinds of things. Short or long, I have seen both.

Glad to see that we're not the only ones who have a "Disney Box" and are already putting things into it. :rotfl:

Hugs,

RonnieJo :flower: :mickeybar

WOW!

I had no idea that I would start getting responses so soon! I am counting four responses already. I have great news back from my friend....she is going to start working on a design for us this weekend! If anyone has any ideas for a name for our group or a catchy saying, please forward them to me and I will pass them on to Megan! :cool1:

Tiggerandpooh:

I saw your post regarding limo questions. I have looked at about 100 sites (just kidding - more like 50 :rolleyes1 ) and have found prices ranging from $95 - $200 for a towncar. There are only 3 of us so a stretch limo seems over the top-but sure would be fun. We are flying in Friday night from CA and taking the towncar to Holiday Inn Oceanfront-Cocoa Beach. We will taxi it to the port Saturday morning. Then towncar it back to Orlando.

I most likely will book with family one transportation. Mid price range at $120 and accommodating regarding booster seat (DD is 5) and a grocery stop to pick up all those thing I don't want to pack. No extra fees, tolls, parking, etc.

I was also impressed with Southern Elegance; a relatively new company with a new fleet. $170 RT Also looked at Payless Transportation $155, Disney transport.com $159, tiffany towncar $180 and legacy towncar $175.

Just watch for hidden fees - car seats, tolls, etc. Prices don't include the requested 20% gratuity for drivers.

Probably more info than you needed or wanted but thought I would share my obsession.

thanks for the info. we booked fltours, they came highly recommended from this board. it was 235.00 plus tip for airport to boardwalk resort to port back to airport...
