Sarah...

When you board the ship you will be directed to a concierge briefing in the lounge. There you will be able to sign the kids up for the clubs, make your ressies for Palo, spa etc. and make any specific requests that you may have. You still have to go to the fire-drill with everyone else, but most anything else you may wish for can be handled by the concierge staff. Just be sure to press the "concierge" button on your phone NOT the room service button :)

Let us know if there's anything else you would like to know about

Hugs,

RonnieJo :flower: :mickeybar

I should have asked this on this thread.....ask I think some of you cruised last Halloween.

Can someone tell me if Pirates Night will be on Halloween???? We have halloween costumes we where going to wear at MNSSHP but we aren't gong now and it just so happens that DH and DS where going to be pirates. So if they are the same night that is fine but if they aren't we wanted to go with a Tropical theme....

Anyone know....

Thanks

Kim...

Yes, they dress up for Pirate night. They give out bandanas in the dining rooms, but we have seen many people dress-up! pirate: As for if Halloween and Pirate Night are the same....I'll need to look it up on a navigator.

As for Halloween, don't forget our "Dis" party is on the 31st @ 1pm in our suite!
Bring a bottle of your favorite wine etc. and come on over! That goes for everyone thats new to the thread as well! Beano & I enjoy hosting a "Dis" meet every year and this will be no exception!

Hugs,

RonnieJo :flower: :mickeybar

just wondering if there were any dvc members cruising on the magic on 10-29-05, looking to meet new people, and help us celebrate our anniversary(10-13-05).. a little, but better late than never. maybe the dis ers have any suggestions. we are always open to meeting new people.. drop us an email at ldolack@yahoo.com

just wondering if anyone is staying at any resorts before the 10-29 magic cruise. we are staying at the boardwalk the day before so we can do the epcaot food and wine festival... also is anyone talking a limo or car service to the port. i am lookng into it and any suggestions would be great.. thanks tiggerandpooh

tiggerandpooh - We are staying at the Poly before the cruise, and also going to Epcot for the food and wine festival :sunny:

We are not DVC, but Tim ("tarzanman") is, and he'll be cruising with us. Not sure who else on this thread has DVC...

We'll be taking a limo from the airport to the Poly. We have used your ride, Tiffany, and one other that was so bad I've already forgotten the name!
I expect we'll use your ride again; they were excellent.

Their website is your ride.net, but without the space between the words.
For some reason, I can't post it here as a link; it gets blanked out. :confused3

Better yet, you can now book all this stuff online and have it all there in advance of boarding the ship. Concierge guests can book ressies beginning 105 days in advance of the cruise date, and non-concierge guests can do it 90 days in advance. We're sailing on the Magic this Saturday, and we already have confirmed ressies for the kids club, Palo, spa,....everything. We'll be able to just walk on the ship and start partying.

Well, actually, I do have one chore to do when we board: gotta see if RonnieJo's sticker is still there!!! :teeth: :teeth:

Chris

Maybe I should restate that question. What night is formal and Pirate night?

THAT'S RIGHT CHRIS!!

Check for my sticker....bottom of bottom drawer inside master bedroom closet....lime green with my name on it :teeth:

:Pinkbounc Hope you all have a wonderful time!! :Pinkbounc

Thanks for the invite....sounds like fun. Can I bring anything??? Is this for kids also???

Are the kids doing a trick or treat??? Just want to bring some treats if they do this on the ship

We are arriving in WDW on the 26th. Probably MGM that day then Epcot on Friday.....can't miss Food and Wine Festival.....

Kim

Btw, Beano & RonnieJo:

105 days in advance of the cruise is July 16th, a week from Saturday (the day we get off the Magic). I'm gonna get up early and book my stuff right from the Internet access on the ship. Kinda silly that they won't just let me walk down the hall and book the ressies directly!!!

Hi Everyone!

I'm still trying to get up to pace. I've made it to page 30 so far...maybe I'll actually catch up by October :rotfl2:

Sounds like a crazy group...can't wait to meet everyone

BTW - we're planning on going to Paradise Point also...it's one of the few excursions that DS can do because of his age :earboy2:

Sarah

Paradise Point is our favorite thing to do on the eastern cruise! :thewave: . The view is fantastic.

We agree - the view from Paradise Point is awesome... the Bushwackers ain't bad either! :rotfl2:

We are doing that, and possibly the regatta on St. Maarten. As for Castaway Cay, there's a table with my name on it at the Head's Up Bar! :drinking1

 Whoo-Hooooo!!!! I'm finally caught up! Is it time to go yet???

MoranClan: Would LOVE a door magnet :goodvibes

Julie & SueEllen: Excited to know about two other boys the same age as DS...hopefully we can get them all together sometime :jumping1:

Pacha: We're staying at the Hyatt Friday night also and then taking a stretch Hummer :cool1: to the ship (We might switch to Ron Jon's though...not sure yet)

Okay...all caught up! Hopefully DH will join the madness soon...I keep telling him about the crazy group that we're cruising with...I think he has to "see" it for himself :rotfl2:

BTW - I was cracking up over all the jokes you guys told :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Then again, after a couple glasses of wine ANYTHING is funny :rotfl2:

Have a great night everyone!

Sarah...

:rotfl: glad to know that you're okay with all us crazy folk :rotfl:

See what you've gotten yourself into :rotfl2:

Hey by the way: Where is Gina? and Johnna? and Sharon? and Pam?

You can hide, but I'll find you :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Hugs,

RonnieJo :flower: :mickeybar

Sarah : You think we're funny?

Ok, here's one :

What is a Yankee??

Same as a quickie, but a guy can do it alone. ;)
