Ronnie Jo,
I mentioned that if the weather was nice .... well, a few trips to the dumpster anyway. I'll get Chris to help me fill up the rest tomorrow :rotfl: . It was just too beautiful! So, Cassie ran around, Timmy played golf while I scrubbed down the playhouse in the backyard. Ah, those relaxing weekends :rotfl2:

Lovin' that :sunny: !

:drinking: :thewave: :hyper2: :thewave::jumping3::thewave::hyper::thewave: :wave2:

:sunny: Great Day In Vegas! :sunny: should be 80 by Sunday. We spent the day at Cassie's skating competetion, she got a first for her freestyle program and a second for her interpretive. One more week of track break and then it's back to school for the long haul.
Here's the real shocker DH (Edd miser workaholic that's, why we call him scrooge mcduck) said as long as we are flying to Florida we might as well stay an extra week after the cruise. As soon as I could get my bottom jaw off the car floor I asked him who he was and what did he do with my husband. :cool1:  :cool1:  Guess I'll be doing some vacation planning this week!

:Pinkbounc Congrats to Cassie on her wins :Pinkbounc

Hey Luckey... Beano and I are compulsive planners, need any help :rotfl2:

Yeah for you...an extra week is awesome!!!! Anytime or any place Disney and you can't go wrong IMHO!!!!

Let's hear a big WOO-HOO for the :sunny: !!!!

Hugs,

RonnieJo :mickeybar

I'll WHOO HOO for the :sunny:

Was supposed to rain today....but thank goodness those weather guys and gals can sometimes be wrong!! :rotfl2:
My weeds would definately disagree!!

Luckey - pass along congrats to DD for us!! That is tremendous!! :cheer2:

Cheri - thanks for the towncar story. You said you would go back to "Tom" next time. Is that another company?

I found an all-inclusive package through IBEX - limo pick up at airport, hilton property hotel-near airport, and limo to port (RT) for about $285. Just not sure if I want to make that ride after being on a plane all day. Am I sounding picky!? :rotfl: Or just obsessed!!?

I think I have checked every website for limos in Orlando. :badpc: It seems they have either town cars (too small for 3- with a booster seat?) or super stretch limos (too big?) Guess I really just need to make the decision.

Have a great rest of your Sunday!! :wave2:

Tinkryansmom...

Go for the limo baby :Pinkbounc we did a towncar for the first 2 years and then switched to a limo...It's SO much better!!!! Room to stretch out after a cramped flight and they will get ya' drinks for the ride as well.

Hope the :sunny: comes back, I'm tired of yucky clouds.

Hugs,

RonnieJo :flower: :mickeybar

Tinkryansmom: have you thought about renting a car? We are going to rent a car and drive to the Raddisson probably friday morning , then on saturday Dh is going to drop us off at the port and then go retun the car and take their shuttle to the port. You might want to check the suggestions on mousesavers and the dcltribute page.

Know I have a question: how do you make Reservations at RONJONS ?
I'm thinking about staying there after we get back.

Hello All!! :wave2:

The sun is shining, the DD is sleeping in, I am online planning my cruise...all is well. :sunny:

Luckey - we were going to do the rental car thing but really wanted part of the trip to cater to DH. I thought a limo would be fun and then he would not have to drive. Have seriously worked over the mousesavers, dcltribute and biddingfortravel websites!! Congrats by the way for getting to stay over another week!!! You have to call Ron Jons directly but try reservation code 102 I saw that someone booked with it and got a good deal - thanks Mousesavers!! :earsgirl:

Got good news - can definitely get the Hilton for $74 a night. Thinking of being adventurous and trying priceline. According to biddingfortravel there are only four 3* hotels on cocoa beach - Radisson, HI Oceanfront, Hilton and Doubletree. People have been getting HI for $55 on priceline. Now can't decide to take the Hilton deal or try Priceline. But at these prices I am definitely getting a LIMO!!!! :Pinkbounc :cool1:

I wish more of us were flying in on the same day!! The super stretch Ford pickup limo looks like a lot of fun!! Talk about rednecks!!

Best limo rate so far...$120 RT + gratuity. The best rental car rate $32 each way (have to pay for booster seat) Getting to throw food at family in car and not have to clean it up afterwards....priceless.

I can't wait until October!!
:jumping1: :thewave:

Have a great Monday!!

OOOH: I may have to priceline it too! Our Raddisson room is $109, if I could get a three star for under $60. we may just fly in a day earlier and stay two nights before and three or four after. Since we'll have the rental car we won't need the shuttle to get to the port. Thanks for the tip !!!! :cloud9:

OK- I did it!! :cool1:

I let my wild side hang out and tried priceline!!

Using info I found at biddingfortravel.com I bid $55 and got Holiday Inn Oceanfront. The cheapest I had found that hotel previously....$101. Hey - I kinda sound like a commercial!! :goodvibes

We don't arrive until evening on Friday so - at least the pool is neat and they have a restaurant. (thanks dcltribute.com)

Done deal..... Next....the limo...... :Pinkbounc

Luckey if you want to check Ron Jon is 888-933-3030. Let me know what you do!!

I think I'm going to try priceline too and go a day earlier to try the MNSSHP on the 27th, it looks like alot of fun ! I just hope Cassie is on track four next year! Then we'll head over to Cocoa beach on friday and recoup by the pool.
How far of a drive is it from the Magic Kingdom to Cocoa beach ? And what time does the sun go to bed in October?

Luckey - We have done MNSSHP the last two years. It's a lot of fun. The Magic Kingdom looks awesome and you get GOBS of free candy!

It's just about an hour from MK to Cocoa Beach (a little less if you drive like tarzanman!)

No MNSSHP for us this year though, since we've done it twice, and we'll be on board on Halloween. Just Epcot, Mickey's Backyard BBQ, and, um... oh ya! the cruise! :boat:

'Beano'

TinkRM is the Holiday Inn a 2 or 3 star ? I'm going to try priceline and see what I can get.
Also, when you looked on bidding for travel did you look on the Disney Orlando page or a differn't one?

One more month down....few more to go!

I didn't realize i could get a limo so cheap! I might have to look into that. Not sure if i am gonna come down a couple days before the cruise or not. I am off to denver this weekend though....;), thats where heidi is from. Getting kinda excited, we are gonna do some horseback riding up in the rocky mountains and some gambling and who knows what else...

Softball started last night, so i didn't get home till midnight, might have to crawl under my desk and take some power naps today. Well off to cram 4 days of work into 3. Have a good one

 Good Tuesday morning everyone...

Sounds as though everyone is getting ressies etc. taken care of! I can't wait to go!!! :boat:

:Pinkbounc P-Dawg: hope you and Heidi have you some fun!!! :Pinkbounc

Nice day to all...

Hugs,

RonnieJo :flower: :mickeybar

Luckey:

HI Oceanfront is a 3* - I guess they along with the hilton were hit pretty hard by hurricanes last fall. They have re-opened, completely refurbished so I am hoping its real nice. :flower:

On biddingfortravel, I think its the south/central beach list I looked at, but you can also search by "cocoa" and the thread regarding the Hilton/HI comes right up.

GOOD LUCK!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Happy Tuesday!!

:sunny: BUMP :sunny:

Happy Wednesday...hope everyone is having a good week so far :goodvibes

Hugs,

RonnieJo :flower: :mickeybar

Ugh, i swear...today is like everyone call or fax stuff to patrick day, the only thing holding me together is the fact that friday i will be on my way to denver. Had to take the motorcycle out yesterday....rode from 3:30 till 9:30 last night doing errands, seeing the parents & neices, just all around. Gotta ride again today too...it is almost 80 here, but of course the nasty weather returns tomorrow night and friday.

Well just checking in, hope everyone is doing well.

p-dawg

:cool1: It's Friday,It's Friday :cool1:
Well at least in my world and only 2 more days of track break!!!
