:Pinkbounc guess 1989 was a good year for quite a few of us huh?! :Pinkbounc

DD found a dress!!! had to pay almost as much for shoes though  AH, TEENAGERS!

Johnna: I have curly red hair, but the humidity isn't that bad in October, I haven't had much of a problem with it :cool1:

We will have to make sure to toast to all of those celebrating 16th anniversaries....like we wouldn't find sumthin' to toast to anyway :rotfl2:

Hugs,

RonnieJo :flower: :mickeybar

I'm going to try to find a picture to post of me (I usually take them and I'm not in most of them.) Frizz Ease has been a help to me, but it still doesn't completely help the problem.

I live in VA and our summers are as humid as in FL. I have to use a hair clip a LOT to try to keep the volume down LOL. Last Sept my husband had the camera at my son's birthday party (which was outside) He shot a few pics of me from behind (I was not aware until after) He was laughing pretty hard at how large my hair was.

Even in Oct the sea air gets my hair and makes it huge. My hair soaks up every single ounce of moisture in the air (which is why you must think it's not humid in October, we must have cruised together before :rotfl2: :rotfl: )

Dresses--let's not even go there. Tara had a BEAUTIFUL dress that we purchased for her before our last family cruise. By cruise time it didn't fit (I won't go there, changing teen bodies!) She has this incredible Hot Pink dress and another turkoise blue one that we have to find homes for (the pink one STILL HAS THE TAGS!!) EEEKKK! We are going shopping soon to see if we can find prom dresses on clearance (sigh, being the parent of a 14 year old...)

I think a 16th anniversary celebration toast is definitely needed. We'll have to take over one of the clubs one night (heck we can celebrate it in Beano's suite :wave2: ) :)

I drank no beer for me.

Last nights tally:

3 Coconut Rum/Ginger Ale
2 Jolly Rancher Martinis
1 B-52 Shot
2 Irish Car Bombs

I was drunk for a while! Now I am not. :(

:cool1: Tim: glad you enjoyed yourself....and just to make it better, The Pistons won last night and forced another game!

:sunny: Happy Wednesday :sunny:

7 days until Kimmy's birthday and 8 until Disneyland!

Tim - you moved to Boynton...We lived there till December...now we are in Royal Palm..Near the Wellington Mall...Isn't Palm Beach so different from Broward?

The conference rooms on deck 2 will be devoted to additional children's programming, complete with a bridge simulator where children can “practice” docking the ship.

Yikes!! I just saw this..I think my cabin backs up to these conference rooms!! Nice for DD, bad for me!! :sad2:

It is a lot different here. Lot less traffic. That is for sure. My 1.5 hour commute is now 16 minutes.

Any idea what ages the "tweens" club will be for? DS will be turning 12 just before the cruise & is excited for something new.
We're in cat 9s just around the corner!

So who all is hitting the world before the cruise? I know Shane and I are flying in tuedsay to do the MNSSHP and get some disney fix before, but who else might be joining us? We are going to stay at the Wilderness Lodge, we think! It may change between now and then!

Gina:

We get there Wednesday! We're doing Downtown Disney Thursday and ::MickeyMo Mickey's Backyard BBQ. Epcot on Friday (food festival, yeah baby!) Cruising to be done on Saturday :boat:

:hourglass Is it time to go yet? :rotfl:

Getting closer to my Disney fix though, Disneyland is only 7 days away :Pinkbounc

Morning!!

I was reading the July 2nd thread and there is a Betsy over there and a DisneyNut..I almost posted over there cause I thought I was here! LOL

Is summer over yet?? I can't wait! The mosquitos are big enough to carry you away here and with all the rain, no sign of them going away!

I will not be in Central FL until the morning of the cruise..I was going to stay at the Radisson, but why spend the extra $ when that can go toward that many more yellowbirds! I am only 3 hours from the Port, so no biggy!
