MiniDV is a format, not a feature. What your camera has that you didn't know about is IEEE 1394, also known as "firewire". Anyhoo, you save a few hundred bucks that'a way!

Yes, my wonderful test is today. After this morning's funeral, I am off to the Dr. and will be hooked up to an IV for 4 hours, running on a treadmill while they inject radiation into my heart. Now there's a fun day.

Thanks fer askin' about 'Da Bean!

I won't have the complete results for 2 weeks, but I know this much: if anything WAY wrong had showed up, such as a 95% blockage of an artery or something, they would have spotted it right away and I'd already know about it. So, no news is good news. I feel pretty good, and the drugs help tremendously! I also know (and this is the cool part!!) that I can't go through airport security for 30 days, because I would set off TSA's radiation detectors!!

Gives new meaning to "that Beano is the bomb!!", doesn't it?
