Well not Cassie's best showing but she did manage 2 1st and 3 2nd's, so it wasn't to bad. It's just frustrating to watch her do better at practice everyday and then stumble in the competition. Now I know how Sasha Cohens mom feels. Oh well ! We're having 3rd grade ditch day today . Not much going on at school today because of the holiday tomorrow so we decided to take an extra day off. We worked hard this weekend. So we'll be off to Red Robin for lunch and the going to see either Cars or Click if she talks me into it. I don't let her see PG -13 movies usually. Has anyone seen it ?? Should I stay away ?

Well we went to see Cars and it was really cute ! I wasn't that interested in seeing it but I enjoyed it.

Yes we have lovely year round school for most public K - 5 schools. Cassie is lucky enough to be on track 5 which is the first to get out of the 2005 - 2006 school year. My baby will be graduating from third grade on July 13th. Then she will be starting 4 th grade on August 30th. The rest of the tracks finish the year on August 11th and start the "new" year on August 30th, except for track 1 which starts the year around September 20th. When they come back Track 2 goes on its first break for 3 weaks, then they come back and track 3 goes Etc. Etc.

Is it bad that a fire chief bought a HUGE amount of fireworks?? He said the firework store had Buy One, Get one free for firefighters!!!
