:sad1:  :sad1: And Luckeys staying in Vegas ! :sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

luckey...maybe I will come to Vegas and see you!! :Pinkbounc  That will show 'em. We'll drink margies and have so much incredible fun it will be news at WDW. And then we won't miss them. Not one bit.

well...we could try.

right!?

I'm pretty sure I had fun at some point in my life before RJ and Beano happened upon me. I did right? Pretty sure. Maybe. Well, now that I think about it...... :lmao:

Tenny...um...though you were meeting me at the beach the week after Easter. I will be in San Diego, California. Not West Palm Beach. Sorry. Guess I shoulda been more specific. Thought you knew.

Gots to take cat to vet  And kinda bummed 'cause I just found out someone we went to high school with - well he graduated in 82 or 83 but we were on the swim team together - died in a skiing accident. Bums me out. Gotta remember to give DH an extra kiss tonight when he gets home. Life is too short....

jojo....so sorry about your friend. I thought we had discussed something in September...not April...but you know with my mental breakdowns lately, I forget stuff!!!! That would be another good thing about this job, I can just tell them anytime I am out of town, and if I do end up in Florida, I can do it anywhere, just need a puter.

Did we not talk about something in September???? :confused3

Hey now, I don't know about everyone else, but this sounds kinda short sighted. Orlando isn't that far from Myrtle Beach after all. And seeing your cruising friends and planning a surprise trip for the kids...um...two totally different things. ;)

Short sighted says she...sheesh! ;) I've tried to work this every which way possible and it's just not adding up (okay that and the IRS wants a bunch of my money in a couple of weeks.) :rolleyes2

Hmmm...let's see...since August 2005
August (WDW--quickie trip)
Sept (WDW--bday trip for Trevor)
Oct (DL, & SoCal--work related)
Oct (WDW & CRUISE--FUN WITH MY DIS PALS!!!)
Nov (WDW--okay, so it was only for a day after my cruise)
Dec (WDW--quickie weekend trip)
Jan (WDW--for Everest preview)
Apr (WDW--for Tara's competition)
May (WDW--Steve & I only for Teddy Bear & Doll event)
Aug (possible WDW for Trevor's bday)
Oct (possible MNSSHP and Food & Wine weekend trip)
Nov (CRUISE & WDW--Steve & I)

So I'm thinking I may have overdone my WDW trips this year (you guys think maybe?) I'm thinking trying to squeeze another trip at the end of July is pushing it. I'm thinking those 2 *possibles* are going to turn into IMPOSSIBLES :lmao:

I certainly wish I could squeeze in a few days after Myrtle Beach (we did do that 2 years ago, heck we were 1/2 way to Disney right? :rolleyes1 )

The IRS wants a lot more of my money this year so I'm having to scale back on my trips (okay that and my son starts school in the Fall so no taking him down for quickie trips anymore.) Yeah I know, I can see the tears fallin' down your faces for me now :p

:grouphug: to my cruise buddies!

I'm sitting here wishing that my great great grandfather was still alive. He was a Cherokee Indian Chief...........maybe he would know how to stop this rain!!!!!!!!! :furious:

I have to go outside today and move everything at least 2 feet away from the house. We are being serviced for termites tomorrow morning and they require space to drill and place the poison. I am not looking forward to moving a cord of firewood by hand (or for that matter any of the other cr*p we have out there) :crazy2:

Bets: Hope dentist with Kate goes well :wizard:

Have a nice day all :sunny: <wishing I had some sun right now>

What a trooper I have...she didn't even flinch! WAYYYYY better than me when I get my teeth cleaned!!!

I just trimmed some bushes in our berm...I feel like such a housewife today!!

berm:
A mound, small hill, or ridge of earth intended to provide screening

It is behind our house

Kate didn't need the root canal...just a filling...whew!

still trying to figure out how we got so luckey! Darn kids are smarter than I ever was! :lmao:

QUOTE]

Hey RJ you're LUCKY and I'm LUCKEY, unless my Dad's got some explaining to do !

But yeah kids !!!! I'd be shouting it off the roof tops. Parents are supposed to brag about their children . How else are they supposed to make us look good ?

Bets: Thanks for the plant lesson :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

Luckey: Thank you! I'd love to be able to take some credit on my kids account, but me thinks they just got the "smart" genes from Beano! ;)

Tenny and Tim - Neil has some advice about going to Nigeria. As a former oil and gas industry employee...

He says, while the annual salary is most likely tax-free and very appealing

DON'T GO!!!

You're chances of actually leaving Nigeria intact is slim, especially right now. Says Neil. Apparently the oil companies are having a time of it with the warloards over there and he is not surprised they are looking for "replacement" workers. Men are actually just leaving. :moped:

Several years ago, he says, the warlords sent their army into a Mobil refinery to "borrow" some heavy equipment. Tractors and whatnot. Not wanting to be filled with bullets the Mobil refinery workers let them take the equipment. The warlords promptly simply buried a rival village. Yep, just buried it. People and all. The human rights people really tried to give Mobil a black eye over it. But they said, um.... Men with guns asked for tractors, we gave them tractors. Scary eh? :guilty:

yeah....we figgered as much...trust me, never a point when he was going to accept that job....we are firm believers in the "if it's too good to be true..." I am just hoping that I get this WAH job. Like I said, not too many buckaroos at first while I am training, but every little bit helps, and I can stay at home. I would not be very good at PC, or MK, or those things, but I actually LIKE to type, and I feel like I am pretty good at it....yes, I make the grammer and spellin errors here...but most of the time they are actually on perpoise.

you didn't answer my question about sept... :confused3....not that I for sure can come then mind you. The only reason I get to go in July is because I am using our timeshare, and we have 4-5 days leftover on our whachamacalit cards...can't think of the name of them, but it's the cards you use for admission. There were 7 days on it, and I knew that we would not use them all before the cruise, so I wisely upped them to never expiring when we were there last October....think we also had the park-hopper option on them too, but can't remember fer sure. Got an email a month or so for airfare to Orlando sale, got it for $138 round trip....also, Miss Judit isn't going, which saves money. She gets 2 weeks vacation a year (although with all of our travels last year, was more like 5  ) and she said a bunch of the other aupairs want to go to NY, so she is using that week to go to NY with the other aupairs. And of course Tim isn't going either, so ifin I aint got enough days left on my card, I can use Tim's. I also plan on hitting Beano up fer liquor...!! :rotfl2: ..I am hoping that he will subsidize my pina colada's!!!...currently working on my pitiful face as we speak!!...thinking he will say I am so pitiful, and need a drink! :drinking1 ...actually I jest, because as you know, I didn't hardly drink at all on the beeg floaty ting, (and never bummed a single drink offa anyone might I add) and still had lotsa fun - have never needed booze fer that!!...my timeshare has full kitchen so ifin I make most of my food, can save money there. Tim has pretty much left it as ifin we are doing better by September, then I can go with you....that is, ifin yer still going??? :confused3

I am passing this on to you because it definitely worked for me and we all could use more calm in our lives. By following the simple advice I heard on a Dr. Phil show, I have finally found inner peace.

Dr. Phil proclaimed "The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you've started." So I looked around my house to find all the things I started and hadn't finished.

So, before leaving the house this morning, I finished off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of White Zinfandel, a bottle of Bailey's, a bottle of Kahlua, a package of Oreos, the remainder of both my Prozac and Valium prescriptions, the rest of the chocolate chip cookies, some saltines and a box of chocolates.

You have no idea how freaking good I feel. Please pass this on to those you feel are in need of inner peace.

:rotfl2: Oh, look! RJ is talking to herself again

I am sitting here waiting for the bug service guys to get here. Dontcha just love that time frame they always give you ........somewhere between 8am and 10 am. Then it'll take 3-4 hours to complete the service. :confused3 Oh boy, heep beeg fun I say! not!

Someone please stop me from talking to myself.........anyone, anyone, Bueller Bueller
