I guess they will break them up, so they can get them back together again, you know how that goes...

Hey Tenor, I have a question that maybe you can answer. I've been to Dallas at least 100 times, and I always hear about this rivalry between Dallas and Ft. Worth people, but no one has ever explained what the deal with that is. Maybe, if it's possible, you can give me the *POOP* on that in 10 sentences or less?

Chris

Chris : I am completely scared sh*tless of you now... we have the same favorite cartoons! :scared1:

And I wish you wouldn't have told me that a higher-up in a Fortune 200 company can't spell... it really depresses those of us who can, and ain't got no munny!

tarzanman, what is it you want... congrats for 1110 posts? :confused3

And you bet yer bippy - if I want something printed out, concierge better bring me a printer, toot sweet! (Didn't know I spoke French, did ya?) :goodvibes

Is it Marlena and John or Roman or John playing Roman or Roman pretending he is John because of some implant in his right canine tooth?

I gave up on Days after Marlena was taken over by the devil.....yeah, as if. :rotfl2:

Well, I will try. Hmmmm 10 sentences huh???? Oops only 7 left :rotfl2: Clash of cultures...Ft. Worth is cowtown, Dallas is the upstart cosmopolitan city...where the old west meets the Eastern migration. Dallas has more companies that want to base themselves there, Ft. Worth felt a little left out, Ft. Worth bigger, felt left out that upstart Dallas gets "their" business...of course there is the standard Ft Worth thinks that they are better than Dallas and vice versa, and the current argument over Love Field and DFW International can't help. One last thing...in the old days Ft. Worth always supported TCU and Dallas supported SMU, so there was rivalry there.

Okay, hope that wasn't too long winded for you.

Beano, I was scary to you long before you read that post...let's not kid ourselves!!!

And your depression about my boss can't be more acute than mine: most of the time when I get e-mails from him that have spelling and grammar errors, in the e-mails HE'S TELLING ME WHAT TO DO!!! It's something like:

cris:
can yoo pleeze luk at the utachz spred****e and sea if you can fine uh korrelayshun between are kapitul buget this yeer and are progectud amortizashuns for the next 3 yeerz.

Thanks,
Richurd

Thanks for that "Lynne",
So, in short form, they watch "Blue Collar TV" in Ft. Worth, and "Desperate Housewives" in Dallas. Is that a good way to say it??

I thought your docs would NEVER arrive!!! :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

Btw, I'm trying to get a message to Hopeton letting him know that we're all coming AT THE SAME TIME. He'll needs some advance warning so he'll stock up!!

Yeppers, that is a good way of putting it, although I must say that I LOVE Blue Collar TV, and saw their concert when they were here last.

That's terrible about your boss, are you sure he isn't kidding? How old is this guy??? I thought it was awful when 2 days ago I got a letter from my attorney, typed of course by his secretary and not him, but in one paragraph, she had 2 typo's. As a former secretary, it was all I could to keep from calling him and telling him about it. How snobby is that???

Hopeton, now THAT man knows how to make a margy! ( honey! - now I know why I can't ever 'splain to anyone what you do. With emails like that, you can't be sure either!)

BTW- peeps! Y'all gotta stop changin' names/signs/etc. How is "trishy" ever gonna know what to put on the nametags? Speaking of which .... if'n you have a spouse that hasn't posted and would like a nametag, speak up or no gettum nametag. (How's that for getting us to 6000 posts quickly :smooth:)

Who's watching Blue Collar tonight? Only Larry the Cable Guy can turn Hansel and Gretel's Candy House in the forest into a Low Fat, Sugar-Free, No-Carb, Soy-Based Cottage duirng politcally correct fairly tales! :rotfl2:

.......la, la, la, la, la.....tenor with fingers in ears......

Hey, can I call ya Beans?????? In honor of us going to different schools together?????

Lynne,
As far as I'm concerned, the only people who don't find Blue Collar TV flippin' hilarious are those that take themselves too seriously. You don't have to be a "redneck" to think that Larry the Cable Guy telling politically correct fairy tales to a group of kids is dang funny. Now that's funny, right there!!

My boss is obviously a smart guy to get where he is. He's super busy and just does things at hyper-speed without realizing how dumb spelling and grammar mistakes to those that read them. Still, I got a barb in at his expense (without him knowing it, I hope).

Chris

I swear to *gosh* that we did not coordinate our last posts. Soccermom hangs out in a different part of the house when she posts....go figure.

Beano, you get your docs yet?? You must be gettin' worried. If you don't get them soon, I have a feeling that Cat 1 upgrade we put in for is gonna come through!!! That reminds me, I need to take piano lessons QUICK!!!
