let's see ... Soccerdad explained the "other wine list", someone might give us a reason to actually pay attention during the lifeboat drill (sorry, couldn't resist - all in fun here :teeth: ), and Beano may have gotten his docs...

Hope mom is doing well and welcome back. We've missed you and your smilies.
Mom is doing well. She's hobbling around on her sore foot a little, but still not too mobile. Tomorrow will be her first trip outside our little neighborhood. So, first car trip since the trip home from the hospital. Happy thoughts for a good one, k?

Someone will have to PM me about the lifeboat thing. Is someone showing up nekkid? :confused3

OPHIE!!!!!!!!!!!! I just PM'd you....what about the lifeboat thing???? It is rumoured that I might go nekkid.....but that would REALLY scare all the children, worse than ANY haunted house.

HEY WAIT A MINUTE SPARROW!!!!!! I thought that Space sumpin Bob was Beano's kid.......hmmmmm ifin ya aint Beano's kid.....ignore apology.... :rotfl2: YOU, I can be mean to!!!! OH WAIT, who's kid are you before I say that........tenor worried about cabin being egged after that comment....

Tenor...

SpaceFaringBob and MinnieMouse92 are my and Beanos' kids. All others are fair game :rotfl2: (but then again Bob is pretty quick-witted....he'll give ya' a run for your $)

yeah, that's what I thought. Who's kid is Sparrow????? Seems like a really great bunch of kids. Can we torture them somehow when we get on board??? :hyper:

LOL, who wooda guessed I wuz a nanny in a former life.......

Still waitin for Pookie's fever to break :guilty:

Yo baby Tenor:  to:sick: Tottalinda!

Whoa....Sue Ellen should lay offa the iced teas! But Sue Ellen that would have to be one Hellava party to add 18 pounds back on the ****...Congrats by the way.

Ah...Pujols...he should play for the Angels.... ;)

Doncha love Mikes Hard Lemonade!? Do they serve that onboard! :rotfl: I'm gonna miss the summertime Costco only special wide mouth plastic bottles.

And yes, Tenor, let us torture the children!! (insert evil laugh here)

Ophie - :wizard: for the first trip out....what did mom do to her tootsie?

BECAUSE WE ARE ALL BIGGER THAN YOU ARE, AND WE HAVE ALL THE MONEY!!!!!!
That reminds me of one of my favorite sit-com quotes, from The Cosby Show. Theo is pleading with his dad to buy him something, and as part of his pitch, after his dad gives him the "money doesn't grow on trees" line (you know, the one we all learned in Parent School), says: "But Dad, we're rich!". To this, Cosby responds: "No, your Mom and I are rich. YOU HAVE NOTHING.".

Btw Bob, don't forget that some of the people you called "geezers" will be sitting at the same dinner table as you during the cruise!!! You better think carefully about which seat you take!!! (Just kidding) :earboy2: :earboy2:

TOO FUNNY Chris!!!! I so remember that episode. We watched it every Thursday, and I have seen EVERY episode.

Love him, we also saw him when he was in town last. VERY FUNNY!!!!!

Thanks Tink!!! I am still on the couch and she is next to me, I think she is finally starting to get cooler....oh well, that's what mom's are for...to sit up all night. At least she is finally asleep.

I say that, because when I showed Tim and Saralinda my halloween costume the other night when I finally found one, Saralinda looked up at me and said "MOM!!!! How embarassing!!! You are embarrasing me!!"

Ohhhhh, she don't know from embarassed yet....wait until she's older!!!! :earseek: :hyper: :scratchin

HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY    The fun I will have :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :Pinkbounc

BTW- peeps! Y'all gotta stop changin' names/signs/etc. How is "trishy" ever gonna know what to put on the nametags? Speaking of which .... if'n you have a spouse that hasn't posted and would like a nametag, speak up or no gettum nametag. (How's that for getting us to 6000 posts quickly :smooth:)

Cheri: I speakum up for DH - he be Neil and he notum postum here.

He thinks we are all crazy....HHHMMMM.....oh never mind....

Lynne, looks like you caught extra MaMa duty tonight. Sorry about the Astros, whom I assume you are rooting for (even though Houston is in a separate nation from Dallas).

Don't know what the time zone differences are as far at TV programming, but we're now 10 minutes in to 1 hour of Blue Collar TV. Soccermom and me are hoping you're able to watch it while sitting on the couch doing Mom duty!!

no nekkid-ity here :earseek: . I was referring to bringing a real iron on board - and how it's not a no-no for a good reason.

HEY LOOK!!!!! I am channelling Tim, and am talking to myself!!!!!!

I just jest about the kid thing...

..........tenor steps on soapbox......

Alright I am talking to you lerkers here, cuz I know all my peeps are cool....

Be careful when you talk to your kids. My dad was ROUGH on me when I was young...had a complex for...ughh...what time is it now???? Always encourage them. If they say they want to be a rocket scientist, and you don't think they could spell the word "wow" if you spotted them the w's, still tell them that you think that is great.....you never know how they might turn out. I mean look at me....ooops wait...not such a great endorsement.....uhhhhh, well, you know what I mean. A child's potential should never be limited by your expectations of them. Let them SOAR!!!! :Pinkbounc

...............tenor stepping back off of soapbox................

Gotta warn y'all, that Bob is a resourceful one. Talk about knowing the ship inside and out? He's got us all beat, I promise. Put him on deck 1, then you go to deck 7, then race him to Topsiders. The little sh*t will win! I never did figure out how he always did that. :confused3 And don't worry Tenor, he won't get you uninvited to anything! I find it very entertaining and funny to watch him battle back and forth with us geezers! Speaking of geezers, Bob... you WILL be sitting at dinner with 4 of the oldest geezerpeeps in this group. (Yes, that is my own, new word - geezerpeeps.) You might sway ophie and tarzanman to your side, but the force is strong with us - the holders of the on-board charge cards!

It's funny when you think about it - the difference between DS's age and tarzanman is almost the same as between tarzaman and me!! And they're my 2 best friends! Lucky guy, that Beano. :teeth:

But I digress. I only came here to tell you that I got my do...

Oh nevermind.

I assume, Lynne, by this last post, that you have done your parently duty and properly secured the required pics of your daughter in the bathtub, or dressed for Halloween, or whatever in order to present to the first "serious" boyfriend she brings home!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: "Oh look, see how CUTE she was when she was a baby!!!". You know the drill.

well, by my computer clock.....it is 12:28 here. Don't know what time it is there, but know what time it is in England.... :teeth: Yeah...hubby is rooting for Houston. He said it would be great to one, have a Texas team, especially one who has never won, against another team, who has not won in a VERY long time.

Don't mind the extra mommy duty. They grow so fast. It is sweet she wanted me to sit here until she fell asleep. One day she will probably tell me to get lost  I also wanted to keep an eye on the fever for awhile, she tends to really spike at night.

Let me get this straight.....

So your darling husband's age minus that ofTarzanmans = Beano - Tarzanman.....its' definitely funny when I think about it. :rotfl2:

Oh yes, and who was it who mentioned my on board account being at 4 grand? Did I get another discount I don't know about??

of course a mundo!!! I have it all planned out!!! On her wedding day, I will get together a montage, set it to music....and show ALL the embarassing pics!!!!!!

muh hahahahahahahahahahaha

BEANS!!!!! "geezerpeeps" ME LIKEY!!!!

Johnna, that's son... not husband! My son is 15, tarzanman is 29. Difference = 14. Take tarzanman's 29 from my 42, difference is 13. Close!

And they're both smarter than me. :confused3
