I have never seen anyone really stopped for a carryon before but I suppose it could happen. You have to carry it so just remember that. I will have my own stuff to carry so I can't lug your stuff too.....LOL!

well..I have a short person that doesn't "need" a carryon, but will get one because I need shoe room! So I have to carry hers too!

So, what you are saying is that you are bringing too many shoes! This is only a 7 day cruise. Leave the rest of the crap in your car.

Ah yes, carry-ons. Not an easy situation for us, either. My camera equipment takes up one carry-on, then there's my laptop, portable DVD player, the kid's PSP's, iPods... and RJ always carrys one bag with any meds we need, plus one change of clothes for each of us in case the airlines "misplaces" our luggage! Traveling lite does not seem to be in our vocabulary.

(Did I mention we'll also check 7 bags?)

Ronnie - 6 heels, 6 sandals, 2 other.
Johnnie - 6 heels, 6 sandals, 2 other.

That's completely understandable. I figured you would be at the 8 suitcases+ 4 carryons +4 purse/laptop/camera bag max. This is good news.
