Anne, glad to hear all went well today.....

We are going to the meet at Epcot but not sure what we are doing for dinner. We figured with Food and Wine we would eat a little here and a little there but that could all change by then

I think I asked this but can't remember if I got a answer or not...my oldtimers....how much would it cost for a cab to Maho Beach in St Maarten?? Has anyone gone there????

Thanks for the info on Ginger ale, I heard it helps people who are sea sick and want to have every thing possible to prevent that...I will pack a case of Canada Dry Ginger Ale.

I called to check on our docs and they are still in processing (sigh) but hopefully they will be here before I leave for CA or no-one will be home to get them (kids are staying with my parents and Steve is still working LONG hours and has his monster 95 mile drive each way from work.)

Good news though! I called the passport authority because it has been well over 6 weeks for Steve & Tara's passports. I was REALLY worried about Steve's because we could not get another copy of his birth certificate in time for the cruise without paying $70 to Vital Check to get it here (and that is 9 days so it's pushing it) Well the Passport office was just finishing Steve's so they Fed Ex'ed it to me and it came today. Tara's should be here in the next day or so (WHEW!) I could get Tara's BC easily since she was born here in state, but Steve was born in another state and I was getting so nervous.

Now just to wait for the docs to get here (they told me they should be here before Tuesday so I'm hoping.) I don't usually worry about docs since you can do port pick up, or print them online, but we have so much luggage I wanted to get the tags in advance (and yes, I have one bag for just shoes too, and I won't even think about the carry on bags!) Like you Beano, I have a bag with the camera, video camera, etc. then my laptop and much, much more.

Okay, back to work for me.

It's funny to see the 4 of us on an airplane: Each of us watching a different movie or playing a video game... what a close family! I'll probably watch a movie on my laptop, then play cards on it for a while... maybe sleep a little if I can. We hafta get up at 4:00 AM that day! RJ and the kids can all sit together, but I'll be across the aisle from them. Hope I don't get

Speaking of using my laptop, anyone know if AA has the electric plugs in coach? (That's American Airlines, NOT Alcoholics Anonymous!)

Rachel, there was talk a while ago about a second/alternate meet and that date/time was set up as a back up for the sailaway meet - in case anyone couldn't make it to the Dis Sailaway party. However, it looks like everyone will be at the sailaway one anyway - not 100% sure, though - so I'm leaving it up in case anybody wanted to discuss it. You want to discuss it or will you guys be at the sailaway one? We'll be at the sailaway one.

Hi all

I've been trying so hard to keep up with reading all the posts that I haven't had time to actually post anything myself! I'll tell ya, there's never a dull moment on this thread

I'm starting to really freak out about packing now that we leave in 2 weeks (picture a little smiley going crazy and ripping his hair out). I should have started packing months ago like all you smart, compulsive, organizing people...I'm so worried that I'm going to forget something important, like DS's medicine...that would be a disaster

I'm also a little concerned about the whole "fitting into my suimsuit" thing. Perhaps I should have started exercising a little earlier than tonight

I can't beleive how close it's getting...I can't wait to see the look on DS's face when he gets his first glimpse of the ship 15 more days and I'll be on an airplane heading to FL

Most AA planes have power outlets in certain rows in coach. You can call the airline and find out which rows have them on the plane you're flying on. Also, you probably already knew this (being that you're Beano and all), but you need a special adapter for your laptop. You can't just plug in using your normal adapter.

I have been waiting 13 months for this cruise and now its basically here and the thought of packing..... What's up with that!?

As for the bathing suit thing....one word for ya: boardshorts. They hide a multitude of sins.
