~need help....MY daughter is 4 and Lactose Intolerhant. We are going on the 7 night cruise soon and I have DCL about what MILK they have/offer...All they offer is RICE Milk as the alternative ( ackk ) SO My question?? We have rented a car and wopndered if we can Stop at a STORE On the way to0 the Port and Get her a 1/2 gallon of the LACTOSE milk she drinks and bring it on? WILL THEY LET us OR DO we need a note from the DR Also/etc?
I called her PED and he said she WILL survive a week without milk, but hubby and I just feel she needs some part of the week.... ANY HELP WOuld be great~!

You can bring the milk on-board with ya....no problem. Just keep in mind how small the refrigerators are. You may be better off to get the smallest size you can, or bring containers and empty the carton into them.

Trishy, are we sure the final trick or treat numbers are correct. I printed out the list and I noticed Pacha was listed as a (0) no disrespect Pacha, but he has kids. Are they not TOTG? We are OK with 46 but will plan for more kids.

No problem - I actually like it when the numbers and info are being checked. I make mistakes and appreciate the help in getting the information corrected. Pacha's family are not participating because they have other plans. There are a few other cruisers that have kids, but for various reasons have chosen not to. It was easier to put a "0" for those not trick or treating so I wouldn't confuse the final count number.

T&P - WHOA! CM's exposing themselves is never a good idea!!! Wonder what the whole story is there. I gotta keep updated on this one.

Betsy - so sorry about your mom. Glad she wasn't seriously hurt.

Hi RJ!

No docs here yet. They are being sent to Peggy Sue and she received a notice on Thursday that she has a UPS delivery. I asked why she didn't go pick it up. She replied that it's no big deal we still have a couple of weeks until we cruise. Sheesh! I need to straighten that girl out!

I'm lactose intolerant too. I know that they have drops that you can add to regular milk. This way you won't have to worry about stopping, lugging and keeping cold. Just a suggestion. They also have chewable that you chew with the first sip or bite.

Question: would we like tenor to make us all nametags? We'll know all of the screen names, and we'll kind of know "there's a DIS'er" but matching the two can be tricky. We did this in July. I wore mine all week with my KTTW card on a lanyard - so I didn't mind when someone looked at my chest before looking at my face and saying "Hi, Cheri" rather than "Hi, uhhhhh"(what was her name?????.

I like that Cheri..I have a green mickey head from home depot with my DisneyDMBNut on it, but nothing with my "real" name.

L2S - you don't NEED milk...I try to limit Kate's alot because of the bovine growth hormone and the link to early puberty. As DH says..milk is ideal for baby cows..not humans...She does eat it with cereal and sometime with cookies but they don't "need" it...They get all their vitamins from a balanced diet. She will be fine if you don't bring it

Mom is ok..she is just more embarrassed that anything...I am glad she didn't break a hip. It would have been sad to cruise without her ;P
