We were able to get through this morning at 7am on the phones and got all our ressies booked for March except CRT and Whispering Canyon Cafe which they said were not loaded yet for the times...SO I guess I get to try back again later...LOL! Just very grateful we got through at all!

I have been trying for the last 3 hours with no luck and being at work is making it all the more difficult. My husband is trying too. All we really want is an ADR at Chef Mickey's for my daughter's birthday. Does anyone know if T-Rex is available for ADR's in March?

Holy cow! Finally got through, and the very sweet CM was able to get us everything we wanted. (We didn't want CRT or LeCellier or Chef Mickeys, so don't worry -- those are still out there!)
Like everyone else, I've been trying since 6 a.m., so it was almost anticlimactic once I got to a live human being.

For everyone else, hang in there! Sending lots of pixie dust.

I am posting in real time. I just booked half my ressies and made her "check out" so I didn't lose them. I have another 7 to go.... still holding my breath.

Not posting to brag, but to encourage. We're probably all nuts for going through all this (I've missed a half a day at work so far for it, along with hours of sleep) but if you're set on making them today, it's possible an keep trying....

I have been dialing on and off since 7 am and I haven't gotten on hold once! I know its not the end of the world if I don't get my ADRs, but my wonky pregnancy hormones are certainly making it feel that way!

I think I'm done. Been trying since 6am when online site went down and then started at 7am on the phones. We have been talking about canceling our Feb. trip because of the money for awhile now, and I resisted because it made me sad. But this was a wake-up call (literally! Ha!) For the thousands we're spending, we could go somewhere else and get so much more. And yes, I know it's JUST dining reseravations. But again, if you're spending thousands and you want to go out for a birthday, anniversary or take your little girl to the Castle for lunch, it shouldn't be this bad.

Here's my timeline as it played out. Got everything we wanted in the end, but it was a struggle to get there!

5:00 a.m. CDT—First attempts to access online ADR system. Reservation page is rendering oddly and appears to be caught in a loop. Logging completely off of my computer, then going back in to Safari solves the problem, but I still can't make an ADR. I fire up second computer and things look like they should, but I can't retrieve my resort reservation or make ADRs without associating it with my reservation.

5:20 a.m.—Disney apparently throws in the towel and brings the site down for "maintenance." I give up trying to use the online ADR tool except for occassional checks.

6:00 a.m.—Online ADR site still down. I begin calling, but encounter only busy signals.

6:30 a.m.—I hand off the phone to DW and get ready for work.

7:35 a.m.—DW gets through to 407-WDW-DINE and is on hold.

8:05 a.m.—DW finally gets a CM on the line, but is told their systems are down and to call back in 15 minutes. Recognizing that getting off of the line would be a disaster, DW stalls and the CM agrees to see if she can transfer the call to someone else so that we don't have to hang up.

8:15 a.m.—DW hands the phone back to me so she can drop of her car to get new tires.

8:21 a.m.—My transfer goes through to a CM with a working ADR system and I begin to make my ADRs.

8:35 a.m.—The process is completed successfully and I have confirmation numbers for all of my ADRs.

Our trip is March 20-27 and we were able to book:

Yak & Yeti lunch, 10/23

You know what's funny, a couple of weeks ago I discovered that Universal does a character breakfast too (yes, we're going there for a couple of days for the first time too). I emailed them, had a reply with 24 hours that I was all booked for the time I wanted. Easy peasy!

OK, I actually got through. There are some very chipper people signing a song about magic and Pixie Dust. They have obviously not been trying to call for 3 hours.

Wish me luck. This is my daughter's first trip and all she wants is to go to Akerus {sp?} to eat dinner with Princesses! She's willing to give up CRT for that.

Yes they are. When I booked my ressies an hour ago the CM told me that t-Rex was also available to book up to 180 out, I got a 5pm at T-Rex for Feb 7th.

Yes, T-Rex is available. Call them directly at 407-828-8739 and you can make reservations there. Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney also accepts reservations at 407-827-8500.

I've been awake to make reservations since 2:45 am. I've still never gotten past the busy signal or "all circuits are busy" message. I'm keeping the faith, but I think I've lost all perspective on what this vacation is about. :yawn: It's going to be a long day at work.
