Boooooo! Disney servers, would not let me put anything in my cart @ 6:01am!!
Down in less than 1 minute! incredible!
 
BTW, just opened the 'quote' file to see if there was any information i could glean from the code in it, and basically it was just supposed to display a message that the dining system is currently unavailable, and to call 407-wdw-dine and you must be 18 or older blah blah blah...
 
The ADR system is not working this am. Anyone remember what # I touch on the phone to skip how many times we've been there to get right to a castmember?

There really isn't anything to expedite it to instant, but the fastest way through is to press number 1 when they are asking if you want Spanish. Then you say "Reservations" "No" and "No" (Assuming you don't want V&A - otherwise it's "Yes" and "No")
 
Really, I think it's going to be days.... at least... till you can just pop online and make an ADR. Maybe in the wee hours tonight will have some luck. I think this whole day it's going to be a down system.
Can't imagine the phone lines...
 

I'm getting the "Please wait while we process your request" message.

It has been processing for 22 minutes for my first ADR attempt. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Can I just say how utterly ridiculous it is that we're all sitting here at 6:00 a.m. (or earlier in different time zones) trying to get something to eat for 6 months from now? And as ridiculous as that seems for even one person, that since so many of us are doing it, the system can't handle it? If you explained this to the average person on the street, they'd :laughing:

No kidding! No way can I tell my non-Disneyphile friends that I got up at 4:45 AM and spent all morning on the computer trying to get dining ressies for March. They would have me committed! :rotfl2:
 
I got availability twice at Le Cellier this morning, even getting as far as entering the CAPTCHA code at the bottom, then when I clicked to continue, it timed out with an error code.

Now I can't even get that far.
 
Do we NEED to retrieve our resort reservations? Thought that only mattered with the +10 bit.

No, most likely not.

If you're on the DDP and want to book something that requires you to pre-pay like CRT or HDDR then you should retrieve your resort reservation so that you're not charged on your credit card.

If it's one of the many restaurants that don't require pre-pay then if your check-in day is April 15 or earlier, you don't need to put in your resort ressie since 180 days from now is April 25. I said April 15 because on April 16, if you're staying 10 or more days, you can put in your resort res number to access April 26.

Anything on or before April 25 is 180 days or less and therefore EVERYONE can book onsite or not.

It's gonna be one whopper long distance bill for me. I don't think my cell phone battery can handle that length so I am going to have to call from my home phone.
 
This is just what we expected -- a real mess. I actually got a reservation and typed in the code, but it crashed on me. I got to work early to do this, and that was a waste of time. I'm trying to get my March ADRs and can't be on the phone all day.
 
Well, if it makes anyone feel any better, it wasn't working for me last night when I did a test run either. I called them about the tech problems and they said, "I'm sure the system is just updating and will be fixed in the morning." Good one, Disney! Can't believe I got up anyway !

:headache: Not getting anywhere over here. It keeps processing my request for 10min and then I get system busy.
 
Does anyone on this thread know what numbers you hit when you call dining to skip all of those stupid marketing questions???

just figured out the quote download just says that the booking system is currently unavailable... after opening with IE (rather than mozzila) and reading the weird jumbled text in DOS format on the screen... that's a bit reassurring i guess. i mean that i am getting the same message for the most part. I am so annoyed as i am as tired as everyone else! and could not sleep again until i got the ressies... not that i have much of an option there - how will i pay for these meals if i dont work???
