So in all of this did anyone hear any estimate on when the online system might be up and running? Just curious.

Amazed in 6 hours there are 100 pages and over 50,000 views

No surprise the disney computers are on overload.
 
I have been putting it off on trying to call since hearing about all the troubles getting through. I had tried online off and on this morning w/no luck.

So i just tried calling 4 different times and got busy signals 2x and the ringing w/all circuts are busy.......

I am only wanting 3 ADRs...only 3! :)

Guess I will try later off and on.....wish I could get them online!!
 
I finally got thru. Took the CM awhile to get them all made. I felt so bad for her, but she was super nice. I got everything I wanted, with the exception of Easter morning. I had to take a later seating for breakfast. I'm pleased I got what I did this late in the game for such a busy time of year.

I got online at 3, back online at 6, on the phone at 7, with DVC at 9 and here I finally get them at almost 1:30! I'm tired! :lmao:
 

on the phone with the agent and the system goes down again, Strike 2 do I get one more chance?
 
oh WOW...just got through right away ... lets see the wait time.....less than 13 mins...so it says!

oops...my Dad is beeping in on call waiting but dont think I will click over...Sorry Dad! :rolleyes1
 
got through to DVC ms at 11am. took an hour to book 7 meals. the cm was funny & kind esp. considering the day they have had. no crt but everthing else...:)
i delt with this from 5 till 12. i need a nap.:faint:

good luck...don't give up!

First time seeing this thread. I remembered today was the day, at noon today. I just called CRO waited for 2 minutes and got thru. I got everything I wanted, no problems for April:thumbsup2. I think its because I called at their lunch time, and half were gone maybe and the system got a "rest", who knows. Good luck everyone!
 
opps.. just noticed I switched 2 of my breakfast's.. we aren't doing hoppers to help pay for the deluxe dining so it looks like I'll be calling tomorrow and switching 2 breakfasts! thankfully I don't think those will book between now and then.. and the one that might is a repeat for the trip so it's no biggie. :)

ATTENTION: WDW Guest Services, Meg Crofton and President, WDW Dining

My name is ________________. I am writing in regards to my completely unacceptable experience with Disney Dining this morning, Tuesday, October 27th, 2009.
I'm sorry that you had a bad experience and I share your frustration, but I really don't think a letter is necessary. We all knew that today was going to be a mess. I'm sure that Disney knew that today was going to be a mess. There really was no way to work around the sheer volume of calls that they were going to handle today. The only way for Disney to have avoided this was to invest in servers, POS and CMs - but why? Fiscally, that would have been ridiculous to do for a few days of high volume calling.

I feel your pain regarding the long distance bill. I chose to use my home phone as my cell battery can be unreliable. I'm sure that I racked up a pretty nice charge, maybe not as high as yours but enough to feel it. My point is that it was my decision to do so. Disney did not force me to call today, I did that because I wanted to do so.

I'm sorry that you had a bad time of it but just take a breath and relax for a while. Wait a day to send your email, things may look better tomorrow.

NOOOO!!!! :eek: After trying for 6.h hours to get through, I finally do and what happens? I HUNG UP ON MYSELF!!! :mad: DD* wanted to hear the disney music so I tried to push the speaker phone button and instead pushed the talk bytton! :sad1: I could just cry right now! :sad2:

OMG! I'm so sorry! I was terrified that something like that was going to happen to me too. I hope you get through again. Keep trying.

My boss beeped in when I was on the phone with them. Needless to say I didn't answer! But i did call her back right when I got off.
 
DH spent 45 minutes on phone. Got all ADR's we wanted except CRT before system crashed. Had just got all confirmation numbers when it went down. :thumbsup2

Hope everyone gets the ADR's they want!!!

Just waited on hold for 10 mins, finally was answered only to be told that the system is STILL NOT RUNNING and to try back in a couple of hours! :scared1:I think I am going to give up for now and go play with my daughter who is home sick from school! I've ignored her for long enough poor thing! :surfweb:
