"I wish Karen,am on funeral duty today my late mother's sister DH Frank,he was 86 and they'd been married 62 years (without parole )She's my favorite aunt and a real character and she's STILL a real looker even at the age of 85,turns out shortly after they married my aunt met someone she's dated as young girl who she believed was killed in France and instead of leaving frank she continued to see this fella right up until his death 3 years ago and Frank KNEW THIS,My dad once asked Frank why he put up with this situation his answer blow my dad away "when god made Marie as beautiful as he did i always knew I'd couldn't expect to have her all to myself"....

ps...Ain't it great finding out these great stories all family must have?,My sister saw them together last week and said they loved one another right until the end,did my aunt invent the open marriage?...."

Not the best of days for me today but i did get to cheer up a very tired old lady because as my sister thought I'd be unable to attend today she'd already made my excuses so when my aunts "Laurence" (her nickname for me after Laurence of arabia,because when i was younger i'd ring my mum from some far off s**t tip ever week )made a late enterence her old face lit up the whole church and i got an old lady to forget the very reason she was there if only for a split second anyways....

We are back from Nashville. We had a great trip....it was really cold & snowed all day Saturday..not much accumulation but wow was it cold walking around sight seeing.

Staying at the Hermitage was wonderful. It is downtown & close to lots of intersting places...walking distance to the honky tonks, the Ryman auditorium & the Country Music Hall of Fame. It was a BEAUTIFUL hotel & very comfortable.

Now.....can we go on a Disney Cruise yet?????

Kimmielee...so glad to hear about your 2nd date going well.
Maria so sad that you are still buried under all that snow....the state of Tennessee would be shut down & a state of emergency declared with all that white stuff.
Chris...sorry to hear about your Aunt's loss but that is kinda a cool story about her.
Paula I'm with you...not much for excercising on vacation...here's my idea of excercise for the cruise.

Melanie, glad you had a good time! I'm thinking of working my right arm out a little more so I'll be prepared for the excessive curling! Just kidding, I wish I could say that again. I have a child now so I need to be somewhat good.

Went to boyscouts tonight. We are going to Baton Rouge this weekend and spending the night on the USS KIDD. It's an old destroyer that's commissioned there now. After everyone gets on, they raise the gangway and no one can get on or off. There's gonna be a lot of men there. Heh, too bad they are all married!

I'm ready to go on the cruise! NOW! LOL! Ethan keeps watching the Disney planning DVD from last year and saying, "we did that, i want to do that again!" It's really killing me not to tell him we are. I know it'll all be worth it in the end!

Oh, my cruise is now paid for! I got more back on my taxes than I thought! Woohoo! Now just to save for the room and spending money! I was also reading about upgrades. I'm hoping since my category (9) is such a popular one that since I booked early I'll be more likely to get an upgrade. Like I've said before, I'm happy just where I am but who wouldn't want an upgrade to a verandah!

Oh, I know this is a Disney site and all, but I've been looking into flying to the Beaches Resort on the Turks and Caicos. It looks like paradise! It's all inclusive so you don't have to pay for a thing. I may have to do a girls only trip to the adults only one. I've tried to talk some of my galpals into going to a Hedonism one but they are all skeerdy cats! Google both the Beaches on and the Hedonism one. If I go with Ethan, it'll be Beaches, if it's an all girls, I might book it and not tell them where we are going until we get there!

Just got done doing the abs and bun and thigh shaping pilates. If it doesn't shape the areas it's supposed to, my face will be shaped into an agonizing look! Hope everyone has a good day! It's going to be sunny and in the 70's here today! Now that's my kind of weather!

I can't speak to Beaches but it's sister property in Jamaica Sandals is where we got married & honeymooned & it was wonderful. All inclusive is GREAT!!!!

I must tell you that we were on the plane with several couples headed to a Hedonism resort & this is how they made me feel !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hiya guys!! Sorry, haven't been on much... feeling like "worst Mom of the Year".... I ruined Noah's cub scout uniform trying to put the patches on!!!

Bad day at work.... bad night with David (ex-wife troubles) and cried all the way home from work. However..... 3 of the cub scout Mom's were complaining about how HARD it was without their hubby's (who were traveling on business) and I thought to myself... ya know what... I ROCK!!!

So, stopped in to say hey to everyone and to have Sweet Disney Dreams!!
