I've been sick and lazy. Check on the boards but too lazy to comment. Sad, I know but life goes on.

I'm planning a camping trip with the boyscouts this weekend to see the Blue Angels. I think we are going to stay in a hotel on the beach Friday night since we won't get there until after dark. I don't know how to set up a tent in the daylight, much less after a 4 hour drive and in the dark. Well, that's my excuse anyway and I'm sticking to it!

Paula, I give you all the credit in the world... going camping AT ALL would be the end of me!!

Good one Ronnie! I think we are going to have to keep Chris entertained on the ship... but how are we going to get him used to the time difference? He's gonna be up all night... or is it sleeping all day?

I just put down $130 for a tent, 2 air mattresses (we all know I'm not sleeping on the ground ), a lantern and a flashlight. Good grief! This trip had better be worth it! I'm going to practice putting up the tent tomorrow afternoon to see if in fact it can be done! I don't want my first encounter with it in front of all the Tiger Cubs! Can't you see it ~~~~~~~~

Wouldn't my son be proud!?! So, I'll be fighting with a tent tomorrow after work. Supposedly they are a lot easier to put up now.

Hope everyone is doing good. I may complain about camping, but at least I'll be at the beach! And watching the Blue Angels! WOOOOHOOOO!!!!!

Have a wonderful time! Any day/night at the beach is better than a day at work!!! I'm so bummed... Noah's cub scout troop is having a hard time finding a sponsor and it may not happen!

They are much easier to put up. Especially the fiberglass poles/bungie cord ones. Not sure if you are expecting any rain, but you may want to get some seam sealer and waterproof spray at walmart. Cost you about $5 total, but could save you from getting soaked.

My big plans for this weekend. I belong to a dirt bike club its called Meteor we are having a duel sport this weekend its a dirt bike ride through Warton State forrest. Hope the weather holds out for us. We are camping but with a cabin. Everyone have a great weekend.
