So Chris... is it bedtime in the UK? Your bumps come mostly at night I see... :goodvibes

I am ready for bed and it's only 4:30 in the afternoon here in Michigan! I have spent the last 3 1/2 hours raking, blowing, mulching and bagging leaves... :furious: I'm sore and tired... I'm sooooo glad this only happens once a year! Oh, I did take a few DIS breaks... :rotfl:

It wasn't this bad last year... but I think the fact that I've been sick made it seem twice as hard...

:rotfl2: ...Im up for a "bump" morning, noon or night.... :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl:

Come on now people this is getting silly, all this "BUMPING" is killing me....When i told Jess how quite things had gone on here i just got the face and a "i wonder why dad"....paranoia has now taken over..... :sad2:

Hey Chris, see I finally learned your name, lol. I love your stories!

The airfare one has me spooked, is it always so expensive per person to fly to the USA? We have given up on flying out of Canada, way to many taxes/fees on a ticket, generally about 120% of the actual seat price.

Now we fly our of Buffalo, about a 1.5 hours away, and we pay less then half the price to fly, in newer planes.

I'm still recovering from this bump! :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

I've been really busy... my house has a fenced in back yard that was a LEAF magnet for the entire neighborhood so that took most of Sunday.... on Saturday I took Noah to see "Flushed Away" - for what I was awake for... I thought it was really cute. He loved. Don't shame me.... since I've been sick I can't hardly sit still for more than a few moments without falling asleep!

Back to work yesterday and it was a good day... last night I did laundry, read and... yup, fell asleep!! :confused3

I'm planning a weekend trip for Nov. 17th and wanted to go to Chicago but flights are outrageous!! I've went before for $125 max and now it's almost $300 - we might end up driving! A girls weekend shopping in Chicago... how cool is that? :cloud9:

How's everyone else?

I completely agree with Pj... Chris you ARE going to be our on board entertainment! :yay:

Yes PB prices are ALWAYS so dear, the phone call goes something like...

ME... "Hello it's me again am after 5 flights to see mickey again next October"...
HER..."HI Chris how are things?"...
ME..."good,you"...
HER..."Better now you've rang sucker (i was'nt supposed to hear her say that)good, good great"..."
ME..."we leave from Manchester (home of the gods,UNITED)on the 13th Oct and want to return 3th Nov"
HER..."oh hell Chris it would be THAT week (only i can want THAT week every time i ring her)"
ME...."eh what week?"
HER..."it's Barbe doll week and the world poodle week that week so all the flights are VERY expensive"
ME..."my mate got them all for £2000 when he rang yesterday"
HER...."bet he rang between 9.25am and 9.27am and spoke with jill who was doing a special because it was her birthday and he was caller 27"
ME.."HOW MUCH?"
HER..."£4000"
ME.."THANK YOU"
HER..."oops i nearly forgot because your caller 678500 today i can give you free unlimited bottled water and free sick bags while on the plane"

ps...HER..."but only on the outward journey".... :teeth:

We have the same problem kim,You should do what i did with the twins when they were little...."come on kids were going to play FILL THE SACK"...i know,i know am a bad dad,the wife threatened to make me a soprano from a tenner if i did it again.... :rotfl:

What in the hell is poodle week? Please tell me you are joking!

I've been sick and lazy. Check on the boards but too lazy to comment. Sad, I know but life goes on.

I'm planning a camping trip with the boyscouts this weekend to see the Blue Angels. I think we are going to stay in a hotel on the beach Friday night since we won't get there until after dark. I don't know how to set up a tent in the daylight, much less after a 4 hour drive and in the dark. Well, that's my excuse anyway and I'm sticking to it! pirate:

I was wondering when some of you "repeat offenders" would make it over here to tell us what a wonderful time it was! Glad to have you onboard!

Now, do tell us all how fantastic it was, excursions you took, etc. I need some motivation to look good in a bathing suit! pirate:
