I am up for wine & martini tastings.....did the flight of martini's in Diversions in December & really liked that. Not a beer drinker though.

I flew on the helicopter again today. We went to a ribbon cutting ceremony at a hospital south of here. They were celebrating the opening of the new helipad. Well, while we were there the cold front came through and dropped the ceiling (clouds) so we had to fly in the clouds all the way back. It was so windy, we were getting bounced around like a whiffle ball in a wind storm. I was just about to blow chunks when I remembered that if I did, the guys I was flying with would never let me live it down. I had to concentrate harder that I have in a long time not to puke. The guys called it spacial disorientation. Said they all did it until they got used to it. I was trying to explain it to Ethan and he just didn't get it. I told him imagine the Tower of Terror and he got it then. I knew that ride was good for something!

PJ, Barry said he would prefer to spend the day drinking with Chris so you can take him off so if anyone else wants to go ask PJ if there will be room.

Well, it's gonna be 38 here today but no snow. Oh well, I'll take no snow over what y'all have been dealing with any day!

My feet will stay on the ground today! I was still moving when I went to bed last night. Damn clouds! Funny how I can ride RNR 3 times back to back and not miss a beat, but put me in the clouds and I want to blow chunks!

School was a 2 hr delay and then they call me 2 hours later to come pick up the girls.I wrote an email to the Superintendent, saying that the roads were unpassable this morning, very very dangerous. And now they close early , I was fuming to say the least


My new boss at work is so wonderful she said not to bother trying to come in tomorrow or Friday since the snow and death in the family. She is actually closing the store right now because Syracuse is pretty bad right now.

Our weather man is predicting a heavy lake effect event again tomorrow

so I am guess ing no school again!

Just wanted to check in and say I've had a crappy day so I won't be around much tonight. I'm about to eat a whole box of Samoas Girl Scout cookies by myself, take some Phenergan and plop on the couch and watch Friday Night Lights! Ethan just looked at me and said,"You're having a bad day, aren't you". Now you know it's bad when your 7 year old can tell.
