October 27, 2007 - Cruising around the Moon - A Magical All Hallows Eve Part 3

Hi Everyone! We made it home last night at 9:00 p.m. A long two days of driving. Needless to say we were exhausted but manged to get up this morning to go to work and send the girls to school. Took us an hour to cross the border at Buffalo. Not too bad.

It was a pleasure meeting most of you! We have many wonderful memories to tide us over to the next cruise. The highlight of our trip was my husband winning the jackpot Bingo!!! So exciting!

Congrats on the big Jackpot win.

Someone else won one of the smaller ones, but I cannot remember who it was. I want to say it was on Monday.

The press release (at least the one I saw) did not include a picture of the two ships. It just talked about not docking at CC and the two ships being at
Nassau. Also there being very limited damage at CC.

Dreamcruiser, I think you win the award for most pictures taken. You got my husband by 200......and Keyon thought my husband took a lot of pictures. Pam you need one of those I am a winner DCL medals for most pictures taken in a week.

How cool that someone from our group won the Jackpot Bingo!!!!!!! That is awesome.

I filled up a 128, 256, 512 memory card & started on the 1 jig card.....good grief. I know my table mates thought I was nuts taking pictures of everything. We hooked the camera up to the tv last night & had slide show.

So Lynn.......let's see that great picture. : I got a couple from Deck 10 but we didn't get off the ship & like Colleen I meant to buy one in Shutters Sat morning but the line was so long that I figured surely I will be able to get one from one of my Dis buddies.

One of our tablemates had a friend on the Wonder as well & they hooked up & hung out in Nassau together.....cool.

We have a friend who is CM on the Wonder. We got a message to go to the Gangway of the Wonder and out they came. We were surprised by two otherw who we did not know recently singned on to the Wonder. For us, that made missing Castaway Cay worth it. Seeing people we had not seen in 6 months.

I just bought a new camera for the cruise, and I was determined to take a lot of photos... I ended up with about 2,200.

I sorted through them all last night, and I think I'm down to about 1,100 decent shots.

What an amazing time.... We did have our UPS and DOWNS... felt like the ship was a ping pong ball in the middle of the Atlantic... it seemed as though we got picked up... and bounced about four times... over and over...

I missed work today... went to the doctor. I have bronchitis, a sinus infection, ear infection and just for the fun of it... an eye infection too! I have some major drugs and feel better already! I slept all day yesterday - and most of today too. I think my body just needed to shut down for a while.

I'm just now starting to unpack... and do laundry. Can you believe it????

It was wonderful to meet everyone... Noah and Ethan are great buds... we hope to do another cruise together in the future.

My PC is still messed up... I gave someone a chance to "fix it" and well... it didn't work... now it's off to the Geek Squad!

Congrats on the win. I was the one that was the first one standing. At that point DH patted me on the back and said, "Don't worry, there's no way we're going to win." Wouldn't you know he was right. While I could have thought of a few things to do with the money, it's nice that it was someone on the DIS that won.

It's supposed to be in the 30's here tonight. Take me back to the islands, mon. I despise cold weather. At least I have my fireman to heat me up!

It was so great meeting all of y'all! We really had a good time. I thought I was ready to get home (all the tossing and turning got to me a wee bit), until we pulled in to 39 degree weather - ick!

We ended up taking, er, Eric ended up taking about 2000 pictures. I will try to edit them and distribute as needed over the course of, oh say, the next two months

Kim I hope you are feeling better today. I hate coming home sick. I was quite dizzy at work yesterday & was still rocking with the ship. It's better today. (I can't get the pixiedust to work) that you are well soon & at the gobbler.

Dh is very very sick.i am sure he needs antibiodics.......but as of yet cant talk him into going to the Doc.

We have all been taking emergenC and airborne so we dont get it..........

he started to get sick the last day of the cruise.........

I went to the Dr. yesterday... I had Bronchitis, Sinusitis, an ear infection and an eye infection! I'm much better now that I have day two on the meds... I had to be! I had to give a presentation to 130people this afternoon!

I hope he's better soon!

Hope everyone is feeling better. Cant believe how cold it is in NJ. We have a dirt bike event in the woods thism weekend, that means outside for the whole weekend. Hope it warms up. I love looking at my pictures.
