Melanie, Congratulations to winning the costume contest. We were yelling for you from Deck 5. And ya know I had a camera in hand and a great view, but never took a picture. How silly of me.
My husband checked his email yesterday and got the "official" picture of the magic and wonder docked...we thought it was funny that we were there in person. He will go to work with some stories to tell.
We enjoyed meeting everyone and our daughter loved the fishie gifts. Thanks to all that dropped some off. She loved going to put stuff in other people's as well....though it took forever when a 3 year old tries doing it all. It killed lots of time.
Poohnpiglet3 it was great playing with the kids on the never ending circle of the Mickey Slide. Your son cracked me up everytime he came down and gave me a big high five.
Pam and Kim thanks for all your hardwork with the activities and stuff for the kids.
I am sorry I did not get to spend more than a few passing seconds with most of you. We were just very busy and the week flew by.
For those that have never been on
DCL before I am very sorry you missed
Castaway Cay...something to look forward to next time. I have been docked there once when it was so bad you could not leave the ship. Nassau was better then staring at an Island you cannot get to.
I think it was Melanie's husband in the Atrium Friday who made the comment about today he was avoiding the horrible island (I know that is not what he used) and that he went on the 7 day just to not end up in Nassau and here he was. Tell him he made a lot of people laugh this morning. We got a call from a friend DCL shoreside and we gave them his quote and they all thought that was the funniest thing they heard as a way to deal with the situation.
Enjoy going back to work for those that have not already.
