Hi All from Babs dd Here is a picture from the wedding we were at today. It is my sis, babs then me in that order. Hi mom!!

I want to snorkel as long as I have at least one snorkel buddy....always safer that way
Here is some info...let me know if you want more.

St Maarten:
It does not have very good snorkeling. That is because of what surrounds the island (rocky under water terrain that keeps fishies away. You can get off the boat and either walk or take a water taxi ($5.00 per person over 12 for an all day wristband) to Great Bay Beach. I love this beach for playing in the water and on the sand. There are beaches on the French side that have better snorkeling but you need to take a taxi or do an excursion.

St. Thomas:
There is nothing near where the boat docks. Taxi's in St. Thomas are more expensive then St. Maarten and the prices are set (I believe). We have gone to Coki Beach and it has great snorkeling. We went to another beach that did not have as good of snorkeling (soory cannot remember the name) and we have gone to St. John and had great snorkeling as well. The thing with St. Thomas is that the roads are narrow and windy and up hill and most taxis are what I call open air. For us with a small child we prefer not to do Taxis much because of safety. The beach is farther from Havensight (which is where I believe we will dock) then Charlotte Amalie where we would tender in.

St. John you pay to get in to the beach and Coki I think you have to pay for a chair. On Great Bay we do not pay for a chair or umbrella. We have a neat sheet for putting our stuff on and our daughter moves too much for us to get to sit. But I think it is like $10 for a chair on St. Maarten. I cannot remember St. Thomas.

How do I get on the Moonies roll call list? DH and I are celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary on the day we leave. This IS our present to each other!

I'm running out of ideas for fish extender stuff! I keep thinking everything I see will already be given out by others. I'm needing to get some fresh ideas from some other stores!

We leave SOOO soon!

I'm in agreement about the excursions. I just don't know what to do! Maybe just the beach excursion on St. Martin?

We're waitlisted for early dining - and have no Palo reservations yet - gotta get there sooo early! Is anyone staying overnight in Cocoa Beach that night before? I don't know where to stay. Any suggestions?

Good Morning Moonies! You'll never guess what I did yesterday since E was at his grandparents. I packed! Yes, able to get it all in 3 suicases and a carry on. I really think just getting off a cruise in July has helped me. I remembered that I wore mostly a bathing suit and coverup and didn't need all those extra clothes. I also packed a bag just for WDW so hopefully I won't have to open the other suitcases. I still have to get Ethan's casual shorts, tshirts packed as he will wear some this week. Since I work in scrubs, I don't have to wash anything else! Now all I have to do Wed night/Thur morning is pack makeup and things like that. Also load up our bookbags with ipod, Nintendo DS and coloring books.

I officially have 3 more days of work (counting today)

Can't believe how close we are....................woohooty

I have 4 days of work counting today....man is this week either going to drag by or fly by?????

Got the final bit of my Mary Poppins costume yesterday....if you want a sneak peek go check it out in my pre-trip report. I am sooooo excited about dressing up on Halloween & pirate night.

Can't wait to meet everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had big plans for this weekend that weren't exactly realized. Oh well. I did get DH to set aside his clothes which is great. Then I got to ironing. I'm normally a "dewrinkle in the dryer" type of girl but I find that the stuff packes nicer if I iron and then fold it. Once everything is packed and in the suitcases I can start cleaning the house. Can't come home to a messy house. It's such a disappointment especially after a week of coming back to a perfectly neat cabin.

Ok, off to send a note to my TA to confirm that she requested a large table for us. My love for my TA is waning a bit but I'm still holding out hope that she remembered to do that. At least we finally got our documents on Friday.
