A bit of drama..........
So today at work I start having these sharp twingy pains under my right rib cage...........kinda scary. I am a nurse & sometimes that is a bad thing because I start to worry more because I know too much. So they get worse after I eat lunch...I am worried about gallstones & HELLO PEOPLE I HAVE A TRIP IN 3 DAYS NOW..........I CANNOT BE SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I start to freak out abit. The doctor I was working with today kinda blew me off abit...she's new & we were really busy. I call my sis-in-law who's a doc & she says leave work & come here & I will take a look at you. So, it's probably a gallstone which I knew already.......but probably not something that will keep me from going on the trip........GOOD BECAUSE I AM GOING ANYWAY!!!!!!!! I had labs this afternoon & have to have a gallbladder ultrasound in the morning. So say prayers etc that this is no big deal, because I would be CRUSHED if I couldn't go on this trip that we have been planning for 10 months/

Bonine (where the heck did I put that?)
powerstrip (dh must have stolen that for something)
2 shovels for the beach (darn kids decided to use them in the backyard)
ear plugs (I think I spied these in the kitchen cabinet, why there? need to go back and find again)
Bandaids (High school musical and cars ones of course)
post it notes (does someone eat these things?)
corkscrew

To Buy still (I thought I was done)
Autograph books
tees or pillowcases to get autographed... (we actually already have both)
wine
beer
vanilla vodka
books for dh and I
Calling Cards

I guess I can add Bonine to that list

I need to hit the bank for quarters for laundry and to get small bills

I still need to pack workout socks for me
and dhs sneakers do not currently fit in any of our bags, so that will take some creative re-arranging once I get the garmet bag out on Thursday night.

I almost feel ready!!!

worst case they will have them on board, I got them at the outlet near the parks last time... for that matter can I just bring their old ones... hmmm???
I was thinking of doing mini scrap books this time, autograph one side and then put the photo in later when printed? but I have not found what I want for that either... sorry not much help

My computer is talking AGAIN!!! OH MY GOSH this virus is such a strange one. I have the DISboards open and my email box. NOTHING else... and I'm now hearing a commercial for something that is "dirty, sexy"... yesterday, the most GRAPHIC porn popped up while typing an email.... I mean full fledged, full XXX porn... I was so glad Noah was sitting in the rocking chair, out of the sight line for the PC.

In 48 hours.... yes, 48 HOURS... Noah and I will be on our way to the airport! Wooo Hoooo !!!!

I have some minor stuff to finish... Noah got a haircut tonight... my hair appt. is tomorrow... nails done on Wednesday at 5... off to meet some friends for a bon voyage dinner... then OFF TO THE AIRPORT!!! Ok, I'm beyond excited. I woke up at 3:00 this morning .... too excited to go back to sleep and finished laundry!

Ok, off to clean my house... can't come home to a dirty casa. I'll check in tomorrow night then.... we are OUTTA HERE!!!

Melanie-I had my gallbladder taken out last year before our first WDW trip. It was done outpatient and laproscopic. I asked if I waited what would happen and since mine was so big he said that it would just be an attack and go away when the stone settled back into the sac and away from the duct. Here's some pixie dust that you have a HUGE stone that moves back and forth and can wait until after the cruise! I'd eat less fatty meals until you can get that thing taken out. Helped me anyway!

Someone mentioned that they still have to pick up reading books. That's still on my list too. Unfortunately, the last time I went to the bookstore I came out empty handed.

Anyone read any good books lately?

I've already read all of the Jennifer Weiner, Harry Potter, Diana Galbaldon and a bunch of others. Help!

I am still undecided which I have never been this close to the cruise before!

We are now thinking of canceling our one excursion we have so we can take the kids off the ship with us

anyone know anything about Mullet Beach in St Martin?
it is past Maho so we could go to Mullet for the morning and possibly see the planes... BUT my dd is NOT into loud noises so maybe we should just go to the north side of Orient instead... I have a coupon for Pirate Beach Bar and Grill =-)

Melanie - I hope you're ok! Add me to the "no gall bladder" list, either. Had mine taken out as part of a sugery I had several years ago. I don't miss it!!

Thanks for the suggestions on hotels! We're doing the MNSVSHP that same night so we just want something on the cheap (already spent SOOO much money!!!) since we'll only be there for about 8 hours! I'll look into the Motel 6. But the Radisson would be awesome for a longer stay! I went to the website and it looks so nice.

Great idea for the fish extender and kid-per-room-and-their-ages list. I have so many goodies now after my trip to the store today. Found some good stuff!

Came home with a lime green tank top yesterday - told DH about all of you. he thinks lime green is an ugly color!!! But he's not surprised that I've been chatting it up with some of my fellow cruisers! Wish I booked this earlier - about 500 pages ago!

Got almost everything packed for everyone BUT DH. He's SOL if he wants me to pack up his stuff. I'm tired from making sure all my stuff is packed along with DD and DS!! Oh, and I got my DD a sleeping beauty dress today for the plane trip. Yes, I spoil her. It's a good thing DS is content with a new game for his Nintendo DS! He's so easy to please. Comes with being one of a pair I guess.

We're getting so close!!! I'm going to be making a calendar of each days events so I won't forget anything. Kids are in school all day tomorrow so that's my plan. I've spent enough money already!!! NO MORE GOING TO THE STORE for me!

(Till I think about something I forgot. BTW, what the heck is BONINE? Is that some sort of cow? LOL!)

I had my gall bladder out 6 years ago.........i have to say it was horrible ordeal for me i was out of work for almost 3 weeks................
And unfortunatley, i stillhave the sme pain on my right side as i did before i had it taken out.?!?!?!?!?!?

I have no idea of the weather..............
Really, dont know if i want to know.......then i would have to maybe rethink what i am going to wear or pack more stuff.

To me it is what it is , i am packing 4 small umbreallas.

Cant change it for sure so if it rains so be it!

I have heard nothing about any hurricanes down hear so i am sure that is not an issue.

ANd 0% chance of snow!!!
