Babs............great news on the move up to varsity. You must be proud. :thumbsup2

I have 4 more day to work..........
Hopefully picking up M Poppins costume tomorrow from my best friend & dinner out with my family for our bdays. Eric's is Wed & mine is Halloween....a week apart.

This time next week, I believe I will have met some Moonie's already. :cool1:

So for the FE's, is there a list of cabin #s that correspond to those who are participating? I wanna make sure to know how many goodies to bring along!!

Thanks!

Sherri

TREAT BAGS!!!

I honestly DO NOT have a Grand plan for the treat bags, The best solution I can come up with is to have EVERYONE drop off there goodies and a few of us (volunteers please) can spend some time Sunday or Monday a.m. sorting and putting an EQUAL share of the booty into the large treat bags that Kimmie has provided. The kids will NOT be getting treats at each of the stops as I have not figured out HOW to do this efficiently. They will only be picking up their clues and puzzle pieces. The treasure will be at Diversions (which will be shown on the puzzle when they put the pieces together. We can tag all the bags the night/morning we sort them, if we have to, DH said we can store everything in our room and then maybe we could sort everything on the floor of oceanquest during off hours (our room is right next to it) I am sure we could get permission from a CM. Well those are my suggestions I am open to any others, if not than I purpose everyone stop by my room sometime Saturday after our luggage is delivered and UNLOAD LOL!!:dance3:

Sounds like a plan! and it's fair too! Can you pm me with your cabin # so I know where to drop it, or if you get a designated time and place I'll drop it there (depending upon the time I may be able to help sort and stuff).

So Pam.........do you want us to bring our treats to Diversions & we can do a stuff the bag thing while the kids are doing the puzzles or do you want us to bring our stuff to your room????????????

Could someone put my daughter KIMSUE name onthe fish extenderlist. She was soposed to do it but she has been sick. Boy am I needy:flower3:

We'll do Babs!!:goodvibes

Melanie, as of now we are dropping everything into my room and then taking it next door to Oceanquest (off hours) and sort, I am just not sure HOW LONG it is going to take to sort or I would say just bring it to diversions, I don't think it is going to take too long for the kids to finish the hunt as I figured everyone would want to have time to do "their" thing so I am not sure we could sort it fast enough. I know already that EVERYONE IS NOT GOING TO GET THE SAME THINGS so we will need to sort accordingly so it is as even and fair as possible. Hopefully I will have a fabulous DIS friend volunteer to help...any late nighters out there that could help after the family goes down for the night??#2064 for those who asked

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO HELP WITH GIZIMOTO AND BRIANNE&SAMI'SMOM
SO THEY WON'T HAVE TO BE ALONE!!!

My friend is getting married on Castaway Island. Our group has 10 cabins- all family and then me ( her closest friend). Not sure what is exactly is going on. but on Friday I guess we get escorted off the ship first thing. Before anyone else. They are getting married on the Adults only beach. But since it is first thing we can have all the children in the wedding. Then we go back on the ship for a mini reception. And later we have dinner at Palo. I have the cricut machine so I have been making her favors and little cards for everyone everyday. Its so fun and exciting. So anyone who wants to see her all dressed up and wish her the best. COme to the deck that we get off at on Friday.
About the Scrabook Swap.... not sure what it is. I can premake disney characters on my cricut. In any size. Its very fun!!!

HI

Just wanted to wish all of you on this cruise a totally wonderful and magical trip and a spooooooky halloween:scared1:
We are taking this halloween cruise in 2008 and I am greatly looking forward to all of your trip reports!

Have an amazing time!!!!

I can volunteer to help. I don't have my daughter participating since it is her nap time (fingers crossed) and international resty time is important when you are 3 and want to see all those characters at night :)

But I certainly do not mind helping you sort through stuff. I should be able to help with the scavenger hunt since dad has said he will sacrifice and take a nap in the room with Jessica.

I will try and work on the sign and then see if my husband can take it to work and have it done up right for us. I am pretty good, but he has two professional photshoppers that work for him who can take my amature artwork and make it FANTASTIC.

I hope to have somehting posted tonight for everyone.

Dizzi-I am so glad that you got your luggage.

For all of you doing MNSSHP party I thought of this last night as I was looking out the window.

It has rained the majority of the Friday Nights they have had the MNSSHP. I know many people who ended up being drowned rats for their custome unexpectedly.

Hopefully the rain will stay away for you all, but thought I would say pack your rain ponchos.....that will keep the rain away for sure.

The box of stuff that I shipped weighed 16 pounds. It was my "surprise" for the group (which was about 7 lbs. of it... but the rest were the journals, halloween candy, the large Trick or Treat bags, and two special treats for the kids. I'm going to tip the porter extra well if he can pass on the message that I HAVE to have my box in my room for the Sail Away Party (or whatever they call it) - otherwise, my surprise could be the "finale" of our scavenger hunt? I'll fill you in ONLY if the box doesn't make it in time for the send off! Either way, I'll volunteer to stuff bags... I'm in 2558!

Sarah, we have had a blast planning and getting to know one another. When I get back, I'll post the Disney Cruise Journal that I made for the kids for your group... Perhaps it can be tweaked and used for your cruise! It's 20 pages long, has all the stops for the Eastern Cruise, but if next year is the Western it would be easily changed if someone has Microsoft Publisher! I'm jealous of YOUR Cruise next year !!!!

For all of you doing MNSSHP party I thought of this last night as I was looking out the window.

Shhhhhh..... Rain is a 4 letter word isn't it? I bought poncho's at Target for 89 cents each. I found them in the camping area! There was a section, much like the $1 section of toiletries... They are folded super small and will be very easy to carry into the park JUST IN CASE. But, like she said... if we all bring ponchos the rain will never come!

My plan this weekend is to PACK and be done with it by Sunday night. Now... I have to throw tonight's Disney on Ice "Finding Nemo" in there and tomorrow we are going to the Cider Mill with a bunch of Noah's friends. No worries... :scared1: Plenty of time :rolleyes1

Monday night will be my die hard, packed and in the Jeep night. Tuesday night I get my hair done (roots are a showing a bit and I must take care of that situation before I meet y'all) then Weds... I have to "work" but it's not "work" per se... Nails (mani and pedi) at 5:00 - meet Noah's friends for a bon voyage party at Buffalo Wild Wings and then we leave for the airport hotel!! Woooooo Hoooooo !!!! :woohoo: :cool1: :woohoo: :cool1:

This time next week - Paula and I will be waking the whelps, gathering our things, having a light breakfast and then waiting for the limo to pull up to take us to the port!! Oh... except for that stop at the grocery store for some... um.... water. Yeah, water. Right Paula?

Then, after check in... Chris better be waiting at the pool with drinks in hand for us!!! :yay: :yay: :yay:

DO YOU GUYS REALLY USE THE FRONT ZIPPER AREAS OF THE SUTICASES?????

ARE YOU EVER AFRAID THINGS COULD GO MISSING OUT OF THEIR MORE EASILY?????????????

Flip Flops in mine!!

has anyone called yet to find out what movies we will get to see?

can someone post them or remind me how to do it?

TIA

PS I mean the REAL movies, not the horror list already posted =-) ;)
I haven't seen this posted yet... anyone know? :confused3

Let me see a show of hands of the folks who are looking forward to the first drink of the day! :thumbsup2 Well, maybe a raise of thumbs since there's no hand raising smiley. HAHAHAHA

I also would like those of you who did this to fess up so I won't feel like the one who needs AA. While browsing the Navigators, I checked on the drinks of the day and bar openings/closings. Now, that doesn't mean I'll be a staggering idiot, just a happy cruiser.pirate: Check out the ingredients of the Rusty Anchor on the Pirate night menu. I'll take one of those now please!:yay:

Paula it is your civic duty to make me try the drink of the day and NOT stick to my usual... That is your mission, should you choose to accept it!

and now for the final time
:cool1: :cool1: 1 week until we sail away :cool1: :cool1:

how many weeks have I been saying this now :rotfl:
Well if we all want a doorsign for our groupd i can make one. Someone had an awesome start of one in their signature, but now I cannot find it. It was the ship and Mickey and Minnie hanging off the moon.

I can print them at work and laminate.

Let me know if you guys would like that and I can put it together and bring to the meet.

see you at the swap

last I checked... there were only 28 kids signed up. I ordered the large Trick or Treat bags with that in mind... however, I just counted and there are 36 children!

The box is shipped and I didn't remember what I ordered... and the shipping receipt is in the box... that got shipped.... So..... I did go back to the website and found my order... I ordered 36 of everything! :rolleyes1 Exactly what we need!!

Should those of us going to MNSSHP pick up a few extra TorT bags JUST in case?
:confused3

It sure is. Do you by anychance have it where you can take the words off. I can then brighten up the wording and put it back there. I tried brightening it with the words and the background, but it did not look right.

But I think that is perfect for a sign for al the doors...then there will be no mistake as to who the DIS doors are.

Also, anyone have anything they want included in the sign....other than a green mickey head of course. I will make the signs so that we can all use a permanent marker to put our names on the greenmickey head with a permanent marker and then we will have personalized signs.

Thanks for sharing your design. I will add some halloween stuff, the green head, and anything else anyone thinks will help make it the perfect sign for all our doors. I wil post it and then once someone gives the thumbs up I will make color copies and laminate at work.

Kim,
I would just in case. What if a bag is broken or defective??? You would hate to think you have 36 and really have 35.

Glad to see I am not the only one using the board for a break. My eyes are crosseyed from grading my virtual school students work.

BTW, is anyone bringing bubbles? We always bring them for the sailaway and I will pack extra to share if no one had that covered already. Pardon me I said sailaway...force of habit.....silly me I mean Adventures Away Party. I just reviewed our packing lists last night so I cna add lots of bubbles instead of some bubbles
