Have we made a final decision about where and what time for the group photo on pirate night? I saw 10pm on the master calendar (thanks DC100), but didn't know if that was definite. How long does the pirate party experience last for? I was thinking of between dinner seatings, but it might be hard to find the space in the lobby. When have some of the veterans done their photo?

Congrats on the upgrade. You're 1 deck above, and 1 cabin aft of us now.

The seamstress said that pirate night outfits should be completed by Thursday. Chris got her last item yesterday, and ordered the last thing for me, too.

Hubby and I are soooooo excited! DCL called me earlier this afternoon, and a very pleasant lady told me we'd been UPGRADED!

Yup, what I thought wouldn't happen ...... happened! We have gone from a Cat.9 up to a Cat.7 BUT, even better, it's not a Navigator's Verandah room (which would have been cool) but is instead one of the "secret verandah" rooms -- the ones that used to be a Cat.6 but because there is a small, partial obstruction at the top corner of the open-air area, DCL changed them to a Cat.7. But it has the plexiglass bottom and the full open air top .... and I am just OVER THE MOON about this. I can't believe we got such a terrific room as our upgrade! And we went from mid-ship to aft .... closer to the buffet now

And we've also been changed from port to starboard, so I'm hoping for a great view of CC when we dock there.

Doing a BIG happy dance here!!! What a great anniversary treat from Disney!!

Congrats on the update........you are right down the hall from us now!!!!!

hay i am sad. hoe did you guyes get an upgrade?? when i ccalled they said to call closer to the trip and i called today and they said that they dont do upgrades. and it is my honemoon. so is there anything i could do

We are 4 families traveling together....I've already added the kids' names to the Disboard list here. I need to know how much candy to bring for the DIS trick or treating.....and all the other details as well. Thanks so much. Can't wait to see you in the MAGIC!!

Just saw this on a newsletter I subscribe to:

"Pre-paid Gratuities on DCL
As of October 1, DCL passengers may pre-pay dining staff and stateroom host gratuities, up to three days before sailing. Onboard payment is still available, but this new option allows guests to avoid Guest Service lines during a DCL vacation."

This is great, I mean I already know how much I'm supposed to tip, I can now prepay it, get's some rewards $$$ from Visa for the effort and not have to stand in line. And if I think someone has performed exceptionally, I can always add a little more cash to the envelope at the end of the cruise.

Can we go yet? I'm upset too that it's Columbus Day with no mail service, but at least I get to do a prep-pack and see what else I need!

We should be seeing documents this week or next, if it is any later then next Thursday, we won't get them at all, and will have to have DCL send a second set fedex to SSR at WDW.

Couldn't get to speak with any one in person at DCL on Palo brunch. So, at this point i will do a check as soon as I get on board and confirm with my group on cabin doors or via cabin to cabin phone. Has the second group heard anything yet?

So we won't find out til we are on-board then about brunch. Wonder why you couldn't get a live person on the phone? I am really looking forward to the girls brunch. Hope we get it.

Something about, they don't give out Inventory Control's; who does dinning assignments, upgrades, palo arrangements, etc., phone number, can you imagine if normal customers had that number, lol. And they can't direct transfer as they are in a different location, then reservations.

The first step is admaitting you have tooooooo many suitcases.................................................RIGHT????????
