October 27, 2007 - Cruising around the Moon - A Magical All Hallows Eve Part 3

I had completely forgotten that I want to bring the kids life vests for snorkling
at their ages they are much more comfortable and safe in their own life vests...

but those and DHs sneakers are on the floor with the ginger cookies (just in case) and my mountain dew and they do not fit....

we have one rolling duffle, dhs LL Bean expanding backpack, the kids each have those cute little kids size rolling bag and then our garmet bag....
our softsided cooler that we were planning checking

then we have the laptop backpack and the kids each have a rolling backpack as carryons....

we have a huge black duffle we could attempt or another backpack...
I need to have DH get their vests down from the storage in the garage and see how big they are, there is one outside pocket left on the garment bag and if DDs is small enough an outside pocket on the expandable backpack

we decided not to bring our HUGE rolling suitcase as it did not fit under the beds last time and took up all the space over by the bathroom... but now I might have to rethink that...UGH!!!

At least I am packing and can say we leave soon!!!

I am at work this morning and my DH is picking me up at noon and then we are on our way!!! I can't believe it is time to go!

aaaaaaack, my cruise clothes don't fit! Should've started packing earlier (and exercising).

I also bought zip ties today, if you need one for your fe just ask (I'll be the one in the same clothes the whole time.)

I need a zip tie for my fish xt if you have extra. thanks!
I'm so tired of running to the store for last minute things. i think I have everything....just have to pick up 2 pieces at the dry cleaner.

I don't have this my luggage when I go skiing! It's crazy!

our plane leave 9am but have to be there2 hours before plus an 4 hour drive to the airport , so leaving home about 2 / 3 am

I am making 30 copies of the cruise sign. If I am wrong and there are more DISers please tell me. I tried counting on the lists and looking at room numbers.

I am not ready to leave yet so I want to slow time down as well.

I have all my student's lessons done and I just have to show up to work a few hours each of the next two days since the kids are not here.

One more trip to the store and we should have everything.

Off to copy and laminate signs.

Ok, so I was at work and said, "Screw it" and left! I'm now counting change and about to finish up last minute things, get a pedicure and wrap up the packing frenzy. Then I can kick back and enjoy the rest of the night. I'm going to have to get up EARLY so I can get dogs to the vet, get to the airport early so I can surprise Ethan. I'm going to have to get his dad to take the pic. I can't wait!!!!!!!

I re-packed and we are no longer bringing dd little tink pull bag, it was just not functional... so we added in the BIG black duffle and tossed tink back in her closet =-)

so I am still at

ds' pull bag
dh's llbean expanda pack
my orange rolling duffle
big black duffle
and garment bag

carrying on:
kids each have a rolling backpack
I have my laptop backpack
dh will carry our wine pack =-), with some Emergen-C and other snacks

now what am I going to do tomorrow? I am supposed to work but my projects are all finished so I probably will not get anything new
I guess I will be getting my pedicure finally and hitting Kohl's for a shirt for dd with my Kohl's bucks.

I even want to go out to dinner Thursday night to kick vacation off right!

I wish we had planned to leave early and hit the parks Friday, oh well.

I will see you all soon enough!

We are also flying out of Little Rock. That is where we live. Do you all live in town as well?

So crazy! We did this same cruise last year and on the ship we met a family who also had a daughter in the same grade/school as ours. They live less than a mile from us. Talk about a small world!

I've given in to my imagined board pressure and am throwing together pirate-ish costumes for everyone, what is an easy man one? White shirt and bandana?

I'm also going to do last minute halloween costumes so there are two less nights of too small clothes to worry about, great man ideas for that?
