GLAD TO BE ON VACATION!!! I am off. Even though I'm at home, I'm off. And, I'm going to savor every minute. The last 6 days at work have gone real well for me. No worries or loose ends. DW and I have a day at home together tomorrow. She's working hard on the fish extender. Are people carrying them on, or putting them into checked luggage. I didn't know how the TSA would feel about the wooden dowel. It will be permanently sewed in, though.

We are also flying out of Little Rock. That is where we live. Do you all live in town as well?

So crazy! We did this same cruise last year and on the ship we met a family who also had a daughter in the same grade/school as ours. They live less than a mile from us. Talk about a small world!

We are up in Cabot. We are travelling with three other families, all living in Cabot (7 kids ages 4-6).

I've given in to my imagined board pressure and am throwing together pirate-ish costumes for everyone, what is an easy man one? White shirt and bandana?

That should about do it. You could possibly draw a patch on your eye with DW’s eyeliner.

I'm also going to do last minute halloween costumes so there are two less nights of too small clothes to worry about, great man ideas for that?

Here's one that won't require more packing. Ask for an extra roll of TP from your room steward and go as a mummy.

Sounds like I'll be the last one here. We don't leave for the airport until 12noon on Friday and don't get to Orlando till 10:00 p.m. Off for a quick sleep at a hotel near the airport and then the drive to the Port. My DH is about 20 minutes away from being on vacation. I have one more day and the kids will be in school on Friday until 10:30.

I'm packed put wondering if I packed too much. Isn't the rule of thumb, put everything you want to bring on your bed and all of the money you plan to bring on your dresser, then remove half of your clothes and get twice as much money?

We have two big rollers, one small roller, one medium duffle and each of us has a back pack or such for the plane. No room for soveniers - I guess I'll just have to ship it all home!

Just got my toes done, gotta finsih packing the "little things" and I'm DONE! I'm sure I'll be up at the butt crack of dawn in the morning so I'll check in one more time. Haven't heard from Chris, but will talk with Kim this evening. Ethan still has NO IDEA! I'm so excited!

Now I need to rest for a bit and then finish up!

I should really be packing...but instead I'm here. At least there's a load of laundry in the dryer. I've actually just gathered another pile of clothes to iron.

Right now, I need the motivation of the dancing banana...

I think I may win the award for the last one left at home. I am conviently located 45min from the port and 10 from Orlando International. So we will not be leaving until 9am Saturday. Though ChesireFigment or Dreamcruiser may have me by minutes.

I bet lots of you will be flying over my house...I will wave at the Air Tran planes.....I am sure you will see me

As for out FE we are carrying it on the ship. It has a black dowel rod on it. But we do not have to deal with the TSA.

I felt great today.........thanks again for all the I am hoping it was just a one time thing. Cause I plan on partying like it's 1999 .

One more day of work for DH & I.
Tonight was a quick clean of the house.
DH's parents dog sit for us & they will pick up dear doggie tomorrow to go for a vacation at their house.
I have to run to Sally's Beauty Supply tomorrow at lunch for one last thing for my MP costume. I have to stop somewhere & get a case of water & then I think I am finished.
I am getting my toes done after work tomorrow & DH had hair cut today.
Final packing tomorrow night. We have a lot of stuff pulled out but we don't actually pack until the last minute usually. I have a list & check things off as we go so we don't forget anything.

I can't believe it's almost here..............

I'm probably going to leave home about Noon on Saturday.

I will start packing Friday late morning, go to MNSSHP, and finish packing Saturday morning.

BTW, I will have a laptop with me and buy the 500 minute Internet package on board.

Im done with work it was a easy night it always is when you are going on vac. I was going to pack tomarrow But im allready packed it was easyer to pack my clothes than all the stuff I got the kids. I have 2 big duffle bags one with clothes and one with the kids stuf, I also have a Back Pack & small roll on. Trish I was thinking of going out to dinner tomarrow night.

A "little" stressed tonight when I didn't think I could fit the remaining items into the 2nd suitcase. I wished I had shipped the T & T items but I rearranged some things and took a couple of things out and now I think it will just about make it. Plus after the T & T I'll have some room for souvenirs!

Oh It's almost here, finished up with work, I am offiially on VACATION Now I just have to pack and clean the house up,pick up DH's dress pants that are being altered, give DD a pedicure and some "mickey" paint on her fingers, load the car, and wait for DH to get home hopefully by noon on Friday. He will be going on hardly any sleep, so send pixie dust that his adrinaline kicks in!! We should be leaving here around 3pm Friday, heading to LTT to meet with our DIS friends and going to MNSSHP, then off to our hotel midway to the port................ I HAVE SO MUCH To DO!!!! I better get busy. Will be checking in to say GOODBYE TO EVERYONE!!!!

One more day of work tomorrow and then I am off to pick up the rental car for the drive to Florida! We are launching out of the driveway at 4AM Friday morning!!!!

Here is a picture of the Fish Extender I made. I wanted to personalize the top but I think I am out of time on that. The Dowel Rod is currently drying so it is laying on the floor.

We finished packing almost everything tonight. I am taking DD to the Studios for Playhouse Dinsey and then we can pack up our backpack.

I have some notes to type for my Chem class and finish up my virtual class work so my co-teachers can take over for the week. I hope to be completely done tomorrow.

Then Friday my daughter and I plan on doing some last minute shopping for T and T and FE out at Disney. Figured I would take her to Mickey so he can listen to "when can I get on Mickey Boat"

I am watching the Orlando weather right now. Not to bum anyone out but we have a 50% chance of rain on Friday and 60% chance on Saturday.....bring those raincoats and chase away the rain at MNSSHP. The good thing is they almost always forcast rain and they are usually wrong.

Well, this is it! It's been a great year chatting with y'all! I'm all packed, about to get in the shower and head to the airport. I'll be sure to tell y'all how Ethan reacted when he finally got to know he's going on the vacation of his dreams!

My Pirate Princess Mickey Ears are ready to go. I really don't want to end this as it will be the last one. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad the day is finally here, but sad that it'll be over soon. Call me crazy (well, we all knew that already).

Well, this is it for real this time. Some I'll see tomorrow night, some I'll see at the port. Looking forward to meeting everyone!

thankfully we are 99% packed and my work is finished
since I work out of our house I am going to go take a nap!

I am taking emergen-C twice a day and I will take Airborne starting tomorrow morning...

UGH, maybe the car will pack itself while I sleep
