Hi everyone,

Just thought I'd jump in this thread again....

Wearing White ---Oprah says you can wear it at ANY time of year. I think especially if you are vacationing in a warm climate it would be appropriate. :tinker:

Pirate night is Tuesday night...this is also a port day. Shooting fireworks off this night as well...it has something to do with the permits & positioning of the ship. Don't know if they would/could change this to coincide w/ Halloween (Wednesday). pirate:

I personally wish pirate night was when we had a "day at sea"...I can imagine being tired from sightseeing (day at the beach, all day in the sun) and then getting ready for dinner and staying up late for the pirate party only to get up early the next day and do another port.

Now I have a question for all of you ladies ---
what are you wearing for formal night? short dress, pants, long dress or other?

Have a great evening!
:flower3:

Wednesday is Halloween
Tuesday is Pirate night as far as I can tell..........

I called the cruise line about 2 weeks ago and the cast member confirmed that Pirate night was Tuesday, and on Halloween they would be having a special party with costume contests, trick & treating (cast members distributing) and such.

MOONIE BRACELET UPDATE

Here is who I have down for bracelets so far.....deadline to pm me to add to the order is Friday. I will be placing the order on Saturday.
I will place this list on the Moonie Bracelet Thread on PJ Poohbear's Discussions as well for completeness sake. I am also only ordering adult size bracelets because of the price difference & that seemed to be the consensus as to what people want...so if this changes your order just let me know.
What are these bracelets?

What are these bracelets?

You know the rubber yellow Livestrong bracelets? Well, everyone and their brother has basically ripped off that idea to the point where you can get cutomized bracelets made for just about anything. We're taking advantage of this and having bracelets made for those who want them so that we can identify each other. I think they are either going to be white with lime green lettering or lime green with white lettering (depends on if the printer could turn them inside out). I think the projected cost is something in the range of $2-3 per bracelet.

formal night for me entails two options 1) ankle length brown satin strapless dress with ruching details or 2) purplish metallic cocktail tafetta wrap dress with 3/4 sleeves and a high adjustable neck (think polo shirt with collar turned up)...still debating...

Let's do the time warp again!!

Something tells me they won't be showing Rocky Horror on the ship. And if they did, I certainly don't see them handing out toast, etc., to people as they enter the Walt Disney Theater. They actually had a showing one year while I was in college with the whole nine yards and I missed it.

Guzimpto I think formal night Ill just dress up its good for the pictures they takeprincess:

Plus, it's an excuse to dress up. I'm wearing a long dress. Either the cleavage-y blue one I wore to my friends wedding or the black and white one I wore on the last cruise (because I LOVE it). Maybe I'll bring both and wear the blue on semi-formal night. Who knows...

Wow..both of those sound wonderful.
Would you bring both and wear the other to semi-formal night?

I have a red cocktail type dress or a black tank type ankle length dress with a jacket. I'm thinking the red cocktail for formal...i bought a black shawl to wear with it (if I get cold).:cutie:

Vital...........Before i wish everyone a good night.

I wanted to say i am soooo sorry that you are having issues with the surprising of your son.
I just wrote a long letter to you and erased it all, as i dont want you to take any of it wrong.

JUST good luck in what ever you choose!:woohoo: :woohoo:

I don't want anyone to think what I said was directed to you here. It just hit a nerve NOT BECAUSE OF Y'ALL:grouphug: Just crap around my city. Everyone has their "soap box" they get on and that just happens to be mine. No worries and I didn't take any of it the wrong way!
Oh, when I jog in the morning, Ethan is at home in bed. He knows I'm jogging and I just go around the block. I have my cell phone in my pocket and he can call me if he wakes up. So far he doesn't even know I'm gone. The way my neighborhood is set up, I actually can see my house from 3 vantage points in my route.

Now, can we do the TOT later than 2? Maybe 330ish? Also, who all is going to MNSSHP the night before we cruise? Is there a list for that somewhere?

I'm still debating on my formal night dress. I may wear the one from the last cruise or if I lose some weight I have a really pretty shimmery dress I could wear. Now that I'm probably flying, I'm going to have to pack lighter than I originally thought. UGH!

What does MNSSHP stand for????:confused3

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. It's the party at Magic Kingdom for halloween. There are several of us going but I can't remember who it is. You should join us if you'll be at WDW!

We're going to MNSSHP

Have NO IDEA what to wear to formal night, guess shopping is in order.
I know DH will just wear a suit and tie, NO TUX and I got DD some awesome dresses at JUSTICE the other day.

3:30 is ok with me I just wanted to make sure those with early seating would have enough time to get ready for dinner and not be rushed
