MORNING LADY'S...:)

INTERVIEW WITH ST PETER

A man appeared before St. Peter at the Pearly Gates.

Have you ever done anything of particular merit?" St. Peter asked.

Well, I can think of one thing," the man offered.

Once, on a trip to the Black Hills out in South Dakota, came upon a gang of bikers who were threatening a young woman. I directed them to leave her alone, but they wouldn't listen.

So, I approached the largest and most heavily tattooed biker and smacked him in his face, kicked his bike over, ripped out his nose ring, and threw it on the ground.

I yelled, "Now, back off or I'll kick the crap out of all of you"

St. Peter was impressed.

"When did this happen?"

Just a couple minutes ago..."

Good Morning Moonies! Let's all take a deep breath and blow hurricane Dean out to sea. The last thing we need in Mississippi is a hurricane. I know it's not even in the Gulf of Mexico yet, but these things seem to take that southern track and then turn towards us. We're still not even close to being recovered from Katrina. I'm on the disaster call down list so if it hits here, I'll have to go to the coast and help. I don't mind that part, I just don't want the folks on the coast to have to deal with another one.

Anywho, as for bracelets, I say order adult sized. Easier and the kids can wear them on their ankles as someone said. It's the style around here.

CAN WE GO YET?!?!?!

Prayers and Pixie dust coming your way. Please stay safe, no matter what! :grouphug:

Good Morning Mr. Gent... I LOVE your morning funnies!

8 sleeps until my 11 day vacation in Kentucky!! Woooo Hooooo!!!! :woohoo: I'm so excited to see my Dad. I was hoping for some quality time alone but it would seem as that will last about 18 hours. My stepmom's 2 daughters are coming down the next day. Darn it. I love them to death... and I'm sure they were hoping for some alone time with their Mom as well.

It's good for Noah... he'll be with my StepSister's/Cousin's daughter... who is about her age. If she is my StepNeice/2nd cousin does that make her and Noah Stepsecond/third cousins??? :confused3 As you can tell, my family tree gets slightly tangled down south. My Dad married his brother's widow a few years after my Mom passed.

Hey, since we are going to the family reunion, perhaps I'll meet my future fella? ;) :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

As opposed to renting a tux, we bought one off ebay - (again, yay ebay!).
I am so excited - despite having been on several cruises before, I have never experienced a formal night. I cannot wait!

We did this for the last cruise. Yea Ebay! It worked great. I didn't even bother getting it pressed before we left home, just threw it wrinkled in the suitcase and got it pressed on the ship. It was the best!

what is the dress in the dining rooms on non formal nights. I do not want to break any rules, but was wondering if it is acceptable to wear jeans...NICE DRESS jeans one night with the Mickey Mouse dress shirts? And my DD bought a really nice top but really wants to put it with jeans and "HEALS" cuz "THIS IS HOW I ROLL MOM".:hippie:

IN PUT PLEASE

As someone else said, what whatever you decide. I just wanted to share a little story.

For our last cruise I bought DH a tux on ebay (as shared above). He basically wore it because I packed it for him. On formal night when we were downstairs waiting for pictures (which, granted, is probably the a highly concentrated area of formally dressed folks) he told me he was glad he was wearing a tux because otherwise he would have felt out of place. I was shocked.

I realized I was one post away from 800 so I thought I would add one more thing.

I bought the tux for DH because of what I was wearing. I thought it would compliment me better. :rolleyes1

ya'll!!! I am putting the finishing touches on Lauren's Hannah Montana costume - (aka have almost purchased everything)...I am lacking a good blonde wig for her and a silver sequined belt - ahh...

I found three great swimsuits for her on clearance yesterday - totaling less than $20! She has hit a growth spurt and has outgrown her swimmies from this past year -aaack!

We purchased Disney shirts for each day on the trip (each day she'll have a new Disney T) - at wal-mart for about 5 dollars each (see growth spurt above - nothing seems to fit her that she currently owns).

We are giving her one (a High School Musical 2) at her HS2 party tomorrow...any other folks looking as forward to that as she is?

Hi Melanie, I know that a 1 inch difference would be too much for my little ones, they have super tiny wrists like me.
Last year we had 2 kids, 1 small adult for me and 1 large for DH. I can't imagine my bracelette fitting my girls. They are just that tiny.

OMG , I am now starting to worry about the spending money I have only $500.00 saved at this point and would like $700.00 more . I have lots of stuff to Ebay but I cannot get my **** into gear to get all this listed. I refuse to use CC for vacations anymore because the feeling of coming home to bills still from the cruise months later is too depressing for me :sad2:

We are now 9 weeks 6 days away from our families DIS vacation WOOHOO!! Single digits

Actual court recordings

These are from a book called Disorder in the American Courts, and are things people actually said in court, word for word, taken down and now published by court reporters who had the torment of staying calm while these exchanges were actually taking place.

DW wanted me to ask what the usual attire for Palo brunch is. She looked in the Passporter book, but didn't see anything about brunch.

:bride: spent about an hour this morning trying on various dresses. She's trying to pick out which one is for what night, and what ones require alterations. I believe the swimsuit planning happens this afternoon.

Time to go mow the dust...lawn. :moped:

Sean

Last year for Palo brunch I wore a sundress, but a more dressy one, one that I would wear out to dinner. People weren't dressed near as formal as for a Palo dinner, but it still was a step above casual :)

Sean

Hi Sean
Many of us just wore either a skirt and top or capri pants. Nothing fancy at all. A casual sundress will work as well.

She is good , I typically don't pack the girls and my Dh till a month from the cruise :rotfl: Myself on the other hand will be about 3 weeks from now. Last year I stayed pack from our Novemeber cruise till April. Took all the clothes out washed them and put them back in the suitcases :) Mind you I took them out a few times to iron :lmao:

We are having quite the dry spell oursleves, I think we mow maybe once a week , last year it was every other day.

I thought i was going ot be a bit dressed up for palo dinner, with the floor length sundress i bought....................................
until today when a girl came into my work(BAGEL SHOP) to get bagels in what else..but a floor length sundress
Maybe i willbe underdressed:confused3 :lmao:

Well we are off to Universal.....leaving in just about 45 minutes and will be home tomorrow around 9ish!!!!!!!
THE LAST horahhhh before the kids go back to school. I am taking 4 kids. (each of my little ones is taking a friend) NO OTHER adults, so send pixie dust my way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The person could have been going to work or something. It's probably not just her bagel-buying dress. :coffee:

I am probally wearing a skirt and top but if I can find some cream dress capris I will do that , but I don't know if it is too late in the season to get some, otherwise you would not want me wearing my old ones, they could fall off at anytime :rotfl2: :lmao: , I think I was 15 pounds heavier last year.

So if we get adult & child bracelets....there will be a price difference on them. Are you guys that want kids bracelets ok with paying about twice as much for their bracelets? I priced out 55 adult & 15 child...we have close to those numbers right now. We will have to leave the DCL off the Magical Halloween line on the childs because of the size difference.
