My research says the pirate party starts at 9:45 and fireworks is at 10:15.
If we eat at anywhere between 8-8:30 (sitting down) and don't get thru our food for an hour or so...we'll barely make it to the party (I think). Probably will skip dessert since there will be a dessert buffet at the pirate party.

We should go to the dining room though as they'll be having bandanas for everyone and the servers will do their little "performance" for pirate night.

I'm just wondering...any thoughts???

...oh...and "YES" ...we should go to dinner dressed in pirate outfits!

Definetly wear pirate costumes to dinner I think as I think that is part of the fun & getting into the spirit of things. We have late dining too....but the servers know people want to get to the party, so I don't think it will be a problem.

My Mary Poppins costume is starting to come together. My best friend is making the actual clothing & we went today & got all the stuff she needs. I can't wait to see how it will turn out.
IN other exciting costume news........the Victorian boots I ordered came today......
Here are the pieces I have so far..hat, umbrella & boots.

Some of the scrapbooking things I ordered came today too!!!!
It is getting so exciting as things come in, I get more & more ready to go.
Should we set a tenative Monday afternoon--around 3:30/4pm time frame for the scrapbook swap/martini party????

Hi everyone!

Thought I'd finally join this thread & site!

My DS (11) and I (41) will be joining you on this Halloween voyage!

We have second seating for the dining.
we have a Category 12 GTY (hoping/wishing for an upgrade).
Excursions: Plan to do the Sea Trek adventure on St. Thomas.

Been shopping but still have to purchase dress clothes (in Oct) for my son. Also have to find pirate outfits!

we have a 12 gty booked
last time we done this we got a free upgrade to a Cat 10
we got our cabin number about a month before the cruise

so it is back to the waiting game to see what we get

Good morning!

Yep..I'm a single mom traveling with my son.
I guess, for me anyway, I'm not sure what we'll be doing on sea days. My son could be in the Oc. lab playing with other kids....or maybe he'll want us to hang out at the pool or do some of the family activities...just don't know til we get there. If he's in the "lab" I'll probably be at the adult pool!

You guys sound like you have some great activities planned though.

Anybody else planning on exercising? I hope to go up to the fitness center in the morning(s). I wonder about running on the deck though. Sometimes they say it is 1/3 of a mile but then other info says it 1/4 of a mile.

My son got his passport on friday! yeah! only took 8 weeks!

Gizimoto-On sea days, if your son is in the club, you'll find me at the adult only pool sipping on a drink of the day. Feel free to join me anytime. I was just on a cruise at the end of July and it was GO GO GO! This one, I'm gonna chill and enjoy the adult only areas! The last cruise was port intensive so we didn't really have a chance for him to go to the club. This time he'll be able to check it out.

Glad I reminded you about the costumes Paula. I plan on wearing my tavern wench costume all evening too!!!!! Arrrrrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! I am just glad I finally talked DH into wearing one.

Jackie....the scrapbook swap/martini party is tentative for Monday at 3pm.

I have excercised 5 out of 7 days this week. That is a real accomplishment for me. Gizimoto....we will probably be excercising some while on-board.....me to keep up my momentum & Dh because he is a runner.
PA Disney couple are the excercise experts around these parts.

Anyone on here ever shipped a box to port to have heavy stuff like water etc waiting on you. How does that work?
