Hey Gang!

As some of you know I have recently started a new job in a new office. While overall it has been a very desirable change, some facets of it have brought about some challenges that we as a family have been forced to address. One of those changes was that my pre-approved vacation time for 2014 did not follow me to this position. While I suspect this would have worked itself out eventually, the biggest challenge for us has been the financial aspect. This job pays less, has bigger travel expenses (more gas/tolls), but worst of all has required us to put Sarah in After School Care, which now costs us hundreds of dollars per month.

Ron and I sat down and took a look at our long term financials and with two cruises so close to each other and the holidays in between, we had to make a very tough decision. Unfortunately we won’t be joining you all on this cruise. It was such a hard consensus to come to and I kept putting it off in hopes we’d figure something out, but there just isn’t any way we can make it work.

As far as the Fish Extender goes, hopefully someone will be able to step up and take over those responsibilities. From here on out, I will no longer accept PM’s or Messages in regard to the FE list, and I have opened the FE List document up to allow anyone to edit it, which will enable whoever takes it over to edit and move the data to a new list or to handle it as the participants see fit. I have updated the list with all of the information I have received prior to today- April 15, 2014. I will leave the list open for a couple of weeks to allow for the info to be retrieved, and then for everyone’s security I will delete it off my Google Drive on 5/1/14.

We are so bummed out that we can’t join you but hope you all have a wonderful cruise! Bon Voyage!

Oh no!! I completely understand and I am so glad the new job is working out so well for you. I really wish you weren't leaving, but another year maybe we will be able to meet up and cruise again.

I am not participating in the FE, but I really hope someone who is a responsible adult will pick it up and run with it. ((HUGS)) You will be missed.

We are also bummed on many levels you won't be joining us.

You can do it either way Dis asks that kids be 13, so some parents "mistype" their kids b-days and others just have their kids use their profile. Both works and the kids will welcome her

Sweetlovin -we are still planning on this cruise. I do not plan to switch, but if we did for some reason we would for sure let you know. My kids are so excited to sail with yours and the cruise wouldn't be the same without them.

I went shopping today with Marty and was surprised by all the drama that went on while we were out. I am excited for this cruise and hope too that it can all be put aside and that we can all have a fun and exciting cruise in Oct!:
