No i did not but i love those they are the favoirte part of my whole new living room set!

Later after we had already purchased it i even found a Chaiir to match maybe i will get the chair after one of the recliners break down.

no chatters tonight i see!!!!!!

oh well back to my scrap book that was supposed to be finished ...oooohhhh........2 months ago?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?:confused3

I love the colors you chose Lynn!

I desperately need to decorate our very bland beige and creme living room, but just can't seem to carve out the time to do it since we moved here.

Someday.....

Oh thank you.

I love it too.

It is a major change from what i used to have which was black and black and more black!!!!!!!!

Dizzi - I love your colour scheme - it's really fresh looking! The cat looks very comfortable on the stool there! You are indeed very talented putting together those curtains!

This morning I have started making (well attempting to make) my fish extenders! We are going with a pirate pirate: theme, and hopefully they will look ok. I just need to get hold of some iron on fabric letters or some iron on printer paper (which I will need for the T-shirts anyway) to print some letters to make everyone names for their individual pockets!

It's very exciting making cruise stuff ! :cheer2:

I still need to make ours too!

We're going with a surfing Mickey and friends theme.

Hi everyone! Haven't been on the boards lately, just trying to catch up! It's a busy month for us...But then, everyone's always busy, right?

I've been on ebay eyeing the pirate costumes. I HATE buying costumes but am trying hard to be realistic about the cost of materials, my lack of time, etc.

But the good news is that I finally set up our airline tickets...woohoo! No cancelling for us now, although we may be eating rice and beans for the next few months. Honestly, my DH and I make a pretty good income but it's never enough! How do y'all manage all these Disney cruises??? :confused3 This is definately our 'big' trip for the next couple of years (or at least my DH says).

California is expensive in general, and our area in particular...regular gas was $3.75 per gallon here yesterday! And we have two kids in private school...with daycare costs as I work full time...sigh...

ooooh, this is turning into a downer post...sorry!

We went to the annual ladies' tea at my DDs' school yesterday. Very fun! The theme was Springtime in Paris, and some people went all out with table decor! My little DD was at a 'Princess' table and came home with lots of fun Disney princess goodies. But all play yesterday means all work today, so off to get the laundry going.

Have a great week, everyone!

Cheers,
Laurel

Just wanted to let you know! It was fun to see your cheery photos. I love lots of color too! I have a red couch with yellow fleur de lis in my family room...not for the faint of heart!

Thanks Laura!

it was fun!

have not done anything liek that in years!

Well we will be offording our Cruises by using our DVC points, even though we are payingabout the same as everyone els eis for their cruises at the moment....(next 4 years) we get to pay them in 12 month installments so to speak. As we pay for the DVC monthly. But after that is will be paid in full and we will be basically cruising for the price of our dues!!!!!:goodvibes :goodvibes

And any extras that we incur on board!

What should i wear to my sons college graduation?

I am trying to get my stuff togehter for the trip and not sure what kind of attire is apporpriate for a collge graduation?

Black?
Bright?

Suit?
Pants Suit?

Dress Suit?

We're still just saving for tuition! Yikes!

What to wear...definitely depends on the weather, should be something extremely comfortable as you are likely to be sitting for a long time, walking a distance (from wherever parking is) and in it all day. I vote for a cheery pants suit, with a sleeveless top and a great hat to keep the sun off. That way your son can find you in the crowd!

BTW...congratulations! What a great accomplishment! You must be so proud. I know I will be when the time finally comes! My youngest is about to graduate from kindergarten, and we're in our 40's, so there is a looooooong road ahead! We're brainwashing both of our girls that you can't get engaged until after college or married until after grad school.
