Hi Everyone,

I thought I would finally check for a meet thread and chime in with our group. Given the length of this thread I may have waited too long. I can't find time to read everything so I just looked back a few pages.

Anyway, our group consists of me (I'll be turning 40 on the cruise) and DW (34), my wife's Mother, my Grandparents, and a young cousin of mine (Colton who will be 10).

My grandparents have decided he needed to get away from Southern Oregon and see some of the world. Poor kid hasn't traveled at all except for one weekend trip to Disneyland. He's been begging my Grandparents to bring him to see us so we could take him to Disney World. Not only does he get a week here with us, he gets to go on his first cruise. A Disney Double Dip to boot. I guess we are spoiling him a bit, but he's a good kid.

This trip should be interesting for us. We've been on several Disney Cruises, but have never taken a child with us. I guess we're in for a new adventure.

We fly out May 30
Come back home June 11

We will spend 2 Nights before cruise and 3 nights after cruise in Cali, soemthign new we have never done!!!!!!!!!

we are excited but NOw i only have 6 weeks to plan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have a group chat forum on Thursday and Saturday evenings. The link and password are around here somewhere...we just moved all the computer stuff around last weekend...

There is a group Trick or Treat planned, but no date yet. Some are getting lime green shirts (DIS green) to wear on embarkation day.

I'm not sure if anyone posted this or not but Walmart has lime green shirts (crew or v-neck) for about $7 each in sizes from small to XXXXL! WOW! What a range! And we sfaw in the craft section that they have t-shirt kits to make your own "design". Not sure if it's a better price than just the transfer sheets but something to look at for those interested.

Got an email from AKL today for itinerary planning! So excited! Made it seem like it really is just around the corner!

Went online to add in our flight information to the DCL site. Does anyone know (yes, I'm too lazy to think it through!) what the 105, 90 and 75 days out dates are? Just something to get excited about again!

Well, it's an early night tonight. Tori's class has a field trip to the National Zoo in DC and she begged me to volunteer (really had to twist my arm - wink wink!) so we are turning in early so that I can get up before 7 am (hey! I did my years of getting up at 5 am! Vowed when I quit working never to do it again..unless it's to catch a plane to Disney!!!). I really like the kids in her class and adore her teachers so this will be a really fun trip! It's going to be 75 and sunny tomorrow so we're loading up the sunscreen (81 Friday and Saturday! What happened to Spring?!?!?) and getting my walking shoes out. Will post some pics when we return.

ps - Dizzi - sorry to see that you won't be with us. I was really looking forward to meeting you but your children and their education is a huge priority! Have a wonderful trip! Never been to California (closest was Olympia WA meeting the Roses and Ulittletinker b4 our last cruise) so please say Hi to DisneyLand for us. Someday we'll get there......

Yes we cancelled Vero to do this cruise.

We are also spending 5 days in California, 2 before 3 after almost 4 after cuz our flight home does not leave until 10pm.

So we are excited!!!!!

i will tell you guys all about it and i will send pictures!!!!!!!
