Where is everyone planning on staying the night prior to the cruise? We are coming in on Friday, but I have not decided where I want to stay yet. Right now, I am thinking either Cocoa Beach or Port Canaveral but have not made up my mind on anything yet.

Wow you are close!! Are you flying southwest airlines? We drove to Nashville for our first cruise because we couldnt pass up the 50 dollar one way flight.

He has NO idea, so I am going to tell him we're staying at another random hotel somewhere, and ask him if he'd like to go shopping for pirate stuff at DTD....and then take him to the hotel! I hope I can contain myself...

OH!!! We just absolutely LOVE WL! Such a quiet resort - well as long as Whispering Canyon is not open!!! LOL!! Be sure to check out the vegetarian salad down at Roaring Forks! Oh and the wonderful turkey and brie sandwiches!!! The Best!! I love salads and this is probably my favorite one of all there - but you have to like beets or just ask them to keep them out.

LADY WENCH ROSES.......... (NOT sure what to call you).......I Love that story. i would have sooooooo done the same thing! EXCPET i am am the kind that packs all the first day stuff in a different suitcase.etc and i also labeled on the out side of the suitcases what was in each bag. SOOOOOO if i make that cant find it mistake you can bet................I CANT FIND IT! even if i did!!!!!!!!!!!!

NEVER stayed at WL. But have eaten there several times. Just love that place and we have watched the water light parade from there too!!!!!

KIM........it should take a MINIMAL amount of fabric and it really should not be tooo complicated!!!!! PLEASE send pictures when you get it done!!!


I have never sat and watched any of the HSM's either.......I had to stop and even think of what that was.

I am off tomorow and plan on painting my LIVING ROOM! woohoo!!!!!

LAST WEEKEND.......I purchased an area rug.......to match my new Living Room suit and my DD(11) tells me........."MOM IT REALLY DOESNT MATCH" she thinks it has too much purple in it. Well after she mentioned it i realize wow she might be right......so the past 2 nights as i watch AMERICAN IDOl..........i have PAINTED with fabric paint over the purple, making it a light blue to match. MY DH thinks i am crazy to paint on a $150 area rug.....why not take it back but i loved the rest of it and it has turned out nicely! THANK GOODNESS!!!!!!

MY GOAL is to have the LIVING ROOM COMPLETE by FEB 1 i dont know if i will make it but i am diligently working on it!!!!

I am soooooo happy to say................WE DO NOT HAVE SNOW AND WE ARE NOT EXPECTING SNOW!!!!!!!!!!! BUt it has been a little chilly here to day(68 degrees)

Dizzi... I have some MAJOR catching up to do.... JUST KIDDING... just a drive by to say hey to all my cruise buddies!! I MISS you guys!!

Totally,

scrapbooking is a really great way to save your memories and look back on them later.

I do not scrapbook the way ALOT OF PEOPLE do.........

ALOT of people purchase stickers and puffies and cutouts etc etc.

I DO NOT PURCHASE anything excpet the book ..........
i decorate everything on my pages with things that i collect during my vacation!

Such as
brochures
flyers
maps
pictures of course
bags
straws /strawpaper
glitter mickey heads found on floor
rocks
receipts........lots of receipts
napkins
etc etc!

i usually end up with a page from each thing we do.......

or sometimes more pages on one subject if it is a large subject

like when we went to paris........
i have a page from NOTRE DAME which includes
a couple pictures, receipt, coin purchased in church,

It is really nice went to it last night.....just ask her she will give you the pass word it is all abotu our cruise only!!!!!

Kimmielee: Not sure if you remember me I am Kim2...I was suppose to go on the Oct 07 cruise with DD, and it was yes we are, no we aren't, yes we are....just couldn't make the dates work so now going for sure on Oct 08 with these wonderful people. I wish you could join us!!!!

I am considering a scrapbook for the Oct cruise.....it looks like alot of fun!!!!

Is there any lists anywhere of who is doing some of the group events, Totreating, Palo etc????

Not much in a mood to work today, just photocopied all my resservation docs for my March cruise.

And maybe talk to her about who will bein charge of what list!

I AM HOPING WE DO another PALO GROUP LUNCH!

And maybe a MNSSHP meet! Not sure how that would go with the kids........I WOULD be AFRAID with all the excitment it would get blurted out some how that we would see ya'll again soon!!!!!!

I had a CRUISE Dream last night.......The first real inside the ship dream i ever had!!!!

side note...... i had several for about 2 weeks of coming home about us being at the reservation desk and them not having us down as on the cruise or we didnt have enough dvc points etc but i think this was anxiety over purchasing DVC!

But his was my dream as weird as it is.................

Okay we are in this HUGE stateroom!!!!! ( about 5 times the size of any stateroom!) and Dh leaves the room without saying a word to me, i get dressed and go to find him .....looking all over the huge ship in the restaurants the lounges the people are playing cards on deck drinking in the bars , i mean i search all over!!!!

I go and ask my parents if they have seen him (parents would NEVER EVER GO ON A CRUISE) no they have not seen him. FINAllY i get a glimpse of him having a drink in a secluded area, but as i approach him he goes around the corner and is gone before i catch up. This must go on all day ..................... as the dreams jumps to me leaving the ship TICKED OFF as i cant seem to locate my Dh all day long. i fly home from HAWAII (is this a revelation of where DCL MAY GO) hoping to make a statement to my DH and the flight only took 3 hours!!!!!! HA.

I call my parents back on the ship and tell them where i am they are a bit startled and upset, but say they have not seem him, but ask didnt he have an excursion to go on one of those things up in the air that goes behind the boats.........I say yes and i get upset that i forgot this detail...............Well my parents then tell me someone.... they dont know who yet had a terrible accident on one of those things just before i called. Now i am UPSET and want to fly back to the ship. So i make a reservation with MUCH trouble getting where i need to go, get off the phone and try to get dressed........BUT I CANT GET MY BRA on, and people from work keep coming into my house while i am naked!!!!!!! And i fight and fight with that BRA it is a really weird BRA!

i must finally get dressed cuz the next thing i remeber is i am inline to reboard the ship and it is VERY BRIGHT!!!!!!! EXRTEMELY BRIGHT almost eye hurting bright!!!!! i finally board the ship to find my husband there wiaitng for me!!

THATS ALL!!!!!!!!
WEIRD UH!!!!

And now i cant get it out of my head!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lynn - Thanks for the info - This sounds amazing - and a great way to keep all your souvenirs - do you have any photos of what the finished pages look like, just so I can have an idea! You must be a very creative person - changing the colour of certain areas of your rug for example, I am sure it would be a disaster if I tried something like that! I am looking forward to seeing the photos of the finished living room!

I do pride myself on being pretty creative.........i dont have any pictures of my books BUT I WILL take soem pictures and have Dh transfer them to the computer for me.

I made all of my DD flowers for her Wedding which i would LOVE to get into doing professionally but it takes so much money to start!!!!!

I will definitley post pictures wheni get the living room done!!!!!

I was very proud of her bouquet i talked her into adding the ribbon and beads

She just wanted to carry only a couple roses i think she is glad now she let me make the changes!!!!!

Hi everyone
got back late last night . we had a really lovely time at DLRP , it is a really lovely park , the weather wasn't great very cold wet and windly but we were well wrapped up , it was funny been in the parks in cold weather
we went into Paris one day which was nice and spent the day walking and site seeing climped to the top of Notra Dame 440 steps up and the same down again great veiw

We went to Paris when it was very cold too!
But we loved it all the same and we cannot wit to go back!

climbing the stairs at Notre dame is one of the things we wished we had done eeryone told us too and then we coudlnt figure out how to get to where ever we needed to be for that.

Did you go to the Eeiffel Tower?

That is where Dh proposed! AHHHHHHHHHHHH! How sweet right?
No i was upset i wanted to be proposed to at the Castle in Disney Paris!
