CRUD!! You should have called me to tell me to get on!

Darnit!
Dad's been extubated and moved into PCU from ICU....Other than trying to get more meds than what he's supposed to have, I really have no idea. When we call (I'm sick and don't want to spread it or get anything else!) and talk to him, he hangs up. Ed's so frustrated, he's giving up. I don't blame him. This is all ridiculous - again and again and again.....but he is my dad, so I feel obligated and guilty. But then again, he did this to himself AGAIN! Word to smokers - QUIT NOW! Need anything to help you? Let me send you pictures or better yet, come visit! GRRRRRRR!!!!!!!
Okay, off my soapbox.
Val, we've got to do better at this chat thing.....we never used to have this problem....
Okay, had to post this.....we've been really spoiled here with warmer than normal weather and just a dusting of snow this winter. We've had 3 wind storms come through but really nothing else. The other day it was 65 degrees!! So, here is our forecast for the next few days - Y'all from the cold areas will probably laugh at this - schools are already closing just WITH THE POSSIBILITY of this happening!
(Local TV station weather report)
Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 6am Tuesday through 9am Wednesday for areas to the west of DC including Fairfax County, VA, Montgomery County, MD and westward. An area of low pressure will track through our region during the day on Tuesday, and with enough cold air at the surface, freezing rain and sleet will be possible. Icing amounts could be up to a couple tenths of an inch which could hinder travel during the evening rush Tuesday. High temperatures will only reach the mid 30s.
Tuesday evening and overnight into Wednesday, precipitation is expected to change over to all rain, with the exception of some of the deeper valleys to the west. Rainfall can be heavy at times Wednesday morning before it finally tapers off Wednesday afternoon. Highs Wednesday should make it to the lower 40s. Behind this system, cold temperatures and windy conditions will filter in for Thursday with highs in the upper 30s to near 40 degrees and wind gusts up to 40 mph or higher possible. The end of the week will end with high pressure filtering in, and high temperatures in the upper 30s one more time for Friday. Have a nice night and stay safe on the roads tomorrow.
