Today I am trying very hard to have a productive cruise prep day - I am sewing away like crazy and listening to a Disney CD for inspiration. I am working on a pirate shirt for DS which I hope to finish today and I have been to buy some pirate skirt fabric for myself and the girls! Still got a long way to go though!

(here in SE Massachusetts (and parts of RI), we do not believe in the letter "r".... Its evah instead or ever, watah instead of water, chowdah instead or chowder... It is what it is... :0)



That is the weird thing... all my settings are exactly as they are at home... the smilies are turned on.... It just stated all of a sudden, they were working fine 2 weeks ago!

Well, we are setting out tomorrow for a long camping weekend, I actually took a few days off and do not have to work until Thursday! I need a mini-vacation before our soon to be Magic vacation! We will be back on Monday so I will miss Saturday's chat (no aircard yet) but will be ready for Monday night!

Greetings from Wellington, New Zealand. I haven't been able to check this thread (we are traveling), but wanted to say we are looking forward to cruising with you.

1. Are you wearing t-shirts with our logo on them?

2. Are you dressing up for Pirate Night? Number of adults and/or kids?

Well, thought I'd finally go back and have a look at the results! Not a 100% accurate or anything, but this is what I put together...

1. Are you wearing t-shirts with our logo on them?...So far we only have about 18 t-shirts happening. Many mentioned Dana's lanyards, and wearing green.

2. Are you dressing up for Pirate Night? Number of adults and/or kids? It ranged from full costume to bandanas and eye patches, but we should have about 21 adults in some sort of pirate gear, and 26 kids!

3. Are you dressing up for Halloween? Number of adults and/or kids? So far we have about 14 adualts and 26 kids dressed up. For the kids in particular I think we'll see a lot more, even adults. Disney encourages the guests to dress up for Halloween, you don't see so much about dressing for Pirate night in the info.

4. Are you decorating your door? This was a resounding YES!. I think everyone that responded said yes to this - so we should have 17 doors decorated.

5. Floor lenght gown? we'll had 7 respond yes. Cocktail? We had 6. But most responded that it was floor length for formal night and cocktail length for semi-formal.

6. Tux? we had 4 responses for tuxes for formal night, 1 for semi-formal, and 3 suits. Does this mean we're going to have a lot of nekked men walking around?

Okay - recognize this was not an accurate response and can't be used to judge the whole ship, but can give people a good idea. Seems like we're going to have a fair number of adults and kids dress for pirate night and I think Halloween should have a good response all on its own. There should be LOTS of our doors decorated, but doesn't seem like we'll see a lot of t-shirts with the logo on them. But no matter what - I have a feeling we'll stand out!!

It is just the skirt... but I figure pairing it with a white button down shirt would be good enough... I need to find adult size lacy socks!!!

Also, this works out for my lame dh... he can simply wear black pants, a white button down and some sunglasses and he will be "dressed up" (its the best I can do with him)....
