Message number 9--My DH and 2 DD's first went on a Disney 3-day cruise a year ago!! I guess I must have been blinded by the fireworks, because I did not see the FE's on that cruise. We enjoyed everything so much, that we decided to use all the vacation money er booty (this year and next-har har-that is my pirate laugh) on the 7 day!!! Continue on to message 10!

Okay, I have good news and better news.

First the good - the new ToT clues, etc. are all printed and the envelopes stuffed with the clues. I can't finish the nametags until I hear from the parent volunteers! Thank you in advance for getting these to me promptly.

The better news - I have finally reached a stopping point that I can go get a shower!!! Yeah!!! (Jenn - and you had it almost right when you called me sweetie!!!!! LOL!!!!)

Thanks again for bearing with me during my two year old style temper tantrum! Where is that DOTD when you need it?!

This is Moush, named because we you pick her up she is just a pile of moush.... She is the sweetest, prettiest little thing...
She was a stray and we got her on Christmas Eve 2006!

This is Oola, we didn't name her... she came with that name... It is short for Oh-La-La.... She was also a stray, a co-worker of Nelson's found her outside their building... she was tiny, pregnant, and freezing... Now she is warm and fat (and fixed) and oh sooo soft....

This is my 10th post, so after this I'll be able to "walk the plank" or just send a pirate message! Normally, I am not running around at the last minute trying to jump in-for someone super organized like me, this is killing me!!! After our first DC, I discovered this site, and thought hmmm I'll have to join when our "lucky" turn comes. But like everyone on here, the best made plans are broken and changed without your imput, and we just booked our cruise last week-then spent all this time taking turns getting the cough and allergies that are plaguing TX since the hurricane blew through Galveston. So, here I am late, but willing to do ANYTHING to help make this something special for my kiddos! So it is not just mere words when I express my appreciation to y'all for letting us join these extra activities at the last minute. I know the memories that are being built in the hearts of my daughters!!! Thanks to all, Frances

Sorry I've been kinda MIA. Been so busy trying to plan my DH surprise 30th b-day party! We are going to be doing it the Sat before we go! Hope I didnt just kill myself when it comes for enought packing time!

17.5 more days!!!!! I am so ready to leave, just dont want to pack! The only one who is packed for this cruise is my oldest DD!

My DS asked to be a dancing banana for Halloween this year and thought of you. He wants to dance and sing the "peanut butter, jelly" song (I would have paid alot of $$$ to see it, record it and show it to all his girlfriends thoughout his life) but had to say no do to packing limits. I believe he was on a sugar high at the time.

Thanks for everyone's continues patience-late and a nebie on forums-what an attactive combination!!! I have signed up -with Michelle-the dd's for tot-my volunteer job will be whatever she wants me to do -harhar-. Sent request into Sarah to be put on a list (hey any list) for FE. Sent message to Janice to be added to roll call-I guess anyone who has read my 10 posts in a row now knows I am coming- I might be the first one they make "walk the plank" just out of the annoyance factor-hr-har-still practising my pirate laugh. Do I have everything covered-do I need to send more pirate messages???
I do not know my room assignment yet-I believe we have the late dinner. I will try to change that to the earlier seating. Thanks y'all for your graciousness...Frances

Suzie - I will say it again - THANK YOU for all the work you've put into this. You have every right to set a limit and stick to it - planning for DIS events should not become that stressful that you stop enjoying the planning, don't get your other work done, or forget to pay your mortgage !

BTW - just looked at the TOT event from last year that we modelled ours after - they had 5 clue stations, 6 groups of kids, and 35 kids in total.

WE have 9 clue stations, 8 groups of kids, and a total of approximately 75 kids !!!!!!!!!!! So I think one of the rules for signing your little ghoul or goblin up for this event is you have to buy 1 drink for Suzie per child signed up - don't worry Suzie - the rest of us who've had our fingers in the pot trying to organize this thing will help you drink them

Last year, we were so excited, we left with everything except my little pile of DIS printouts, so I didn't know where everyone would be!! I was so sad. We missed everything, because I couldn't get up the guts to stop someone with a DIS shirt and explain my extreme level of stupidity, and could they maybe tell me the game plan. I'm packing it in the carry-on this time, not going to keep it in my hands. Then I can't forget it!! Maybe I'll go pack that now...

It shouldn't take up too much room if you simply make a costume out of yellow felt... then stuff it with pillows from your stateroom!

Just got back from the Ob/Gyn... He didn't have anything to tell me... The MRI was inconclusive... I may/may not have this form of endometrosis he was looking for.

The course of action for now is to go on Metformin to regulate my insulin levels which could be causing PCOS (poly-cystic ovarian syndrome)... After that, Clomid to induce ovulation and probably after the first of the year, get ourselves in order to begin filling out the paperwork to become foster parents/adopt.

Sorry about the inconclusive test results. It seems like the fertility drugs are next in the process. You seem like you have a good attitude about it all - although I am sure that there are times when you're not as calm!
