I just want to add a giant THANK YOU to all of you "original" disboarders who have been so generous in welcoming us latecomers. You guys have gone "above and beyond" to extend your dates and rearrange your plans to include all of us in the TOT and the FE exchange. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone.

Since I butted my nose in earlier, I agree, too. You are definitely a welcoming bunch.

I've been checking up on the boards, just not writing much.

Weekends always include taking DN (15) to lunch at her favorite Mexican restaurant for Saturday fajitas. This fall, my dad and I (neither one of us classified as "real football fans" watch Auburn play on TV - well, participate more than play this year; they are ballyhooed but aren't that great. Sunday nights I give mother a shower/shampoo and curl her hair in preparation for a Monday luncheon she and dad attend every week with other retired civil service engineers and physicists (they call themselves the Geezers).

Looking forward to tomorrow's announcement of 2010 cruises.

I got the following information in an email from Disney Cruiseline:

Save the Date.
We want you to be among the first to know. Big things are on the horizon. October 6th, visit disneycruise.com/news at 12:30 pm ET to see all the magic. And don't miss the special live webcast at 12:45 pm.

From other posts, it sounds like an announcement of dates, with booking to open 1-2 weeks later.

Those movies look great - I am particularly looking forward to Wall-E and Prince Caspian, as we haven't seen those yet, and getting the chance to see At World's End on a big screen again, and if there's nothing better to do I might go see National Treasure 2 again.

I forgot to mention what my kids collect - Taryn collects Tim Burton merchandise - Nightmare Before Christmas and Corpse Bride mainly - and she has shelves of Ty Beanies, and Dan collects Nintendo merchandise - mainly anything SuperMario - and he has tons of stuff going way back. I son't think DH collects anything - but everytime he needs to do a DIY job he appears to need a new tool, so I suppose he collects DIY tools!

and today is the day I can finally say .......we are going on holiday NEXT WEEK! and only 2 days until we are in single digits!

booking should end up on the 21st right before we cruise. So you can either wait or book before boarding. I think you can transfer the discount to it somehow but not too sure.

Just received a phone call from my TA. They have my docs!!!!

They are putting them in the mail to me today!

So now I can officially check on all my onboard credits (from AAA and Disney and Disney Visa, etc...) and start yelling if they dont have them right....
