But what is keeping me most intrigued is the 2010 cruise schedule coming out (October 7?) soon. The latest on the DIS boards opening page makes me think I might get to do the Mediterranean that I missed last time...haven't even packed for this cruise and am already plotting another.

Oh - 2010 dates!!! I am not cruising 2009 since we already decided on just going to Disney - but I would LOVE to book another med cruise! I was fortunate enough to go on the Med cruise last year so it would be great if it was Greece & Eastern Italy this time. I was so disappoiinted that I might not re-book onboard - but now I am so excited!!!

I had gotten those times from Buckeye Gal's schedule - but since you questioned it (and I too was hoping it would be wrong) I went to Disney's site to check it out - our times are different for the first stop at Castaway Cay as well as Cozumel & Grand Cayman - our schedule has been updated!

This weekend we will be going away again - for just an "overnight adventure" - my Goddaughter's 16th b'day party! So, after that we will have no more trips until this cruise - so - this week's plan - start laying out our clothes in the spare room . . .

OK this week I'm going to get all the FE stuff finished and out of the way
Double check that I have all the online stuff done for the flights and cruise
was hoping to get the house painted before the holidays too , but been putting it off wonder why

This week I need to check everyones dress clothes and shoes. I am hoping that the kids have enough and I won't have to buy much. First, I need to see if any of my children are actually going to eat dinner with us in the dining room. In the past my DSs (13 & 10) would prefer to order room service and run off to 'quest'. My DDs (14 & 8) only went to dinner about half the time.

What are you hoping to accomplish this week?

Another scary question -
1. I hope to finish 2 of our pirate skirts and buy the fabric for the final one.
2. I hope to go to the local town and buy some things I need to carry on with my FE gifts and also to visit the charity shops to hopefully find the last few items for our Halloween costumes.
3. I hope to go through our clothing and check finally what still needs purchasing.
4. I hope to take up fast walking on my days off, to try and shift a few more lbs before the cruise (highly unlikely that this will be accomplished, as I have fallen off the waggon big time after my recent health issues!)

Document will be shipped out 2 weeks before hand
as we are going to WDW first and don't want to leave without getting them We are having them shipped to our resort
BTW they will only do this if you are staying on site
Asked about up grading to a verandah would cost another $1000 for us to go from a Cat 9 to a Cat 5 gty

Just aswell that I checked the online check-in only had half of it done
last date is the 23rd of Oct to fill it in

I can't believe how close our cruise is now! I still have a lot to do, but I think being busy these last few weeks will help the time go by faster.

I just got a visit from the UPS driver and he dropped off our cruise documents. Having them in my hand is so exciting. Enclosed with the documents was a sheet with the Halloween Gift Packages that Disney is offering for our cruise. They look pretty neat. I'm trying to decide if I should order one for the kids. Has anyone ordered stateroom gifts from Disney before? Are they worth the money?

DH and I are heading to Disneyland Saturday (probably the last time before the cruise since our October is so tight).

We'll be going tropical for Pirate night (otherwise our suitcases will weigh a ton).

Just wondering do you let your kids charge to they room key

We do allow our older children to have charging privilege...with very stricked rules. This way they can purchase arcade cards, snack at the movies and to go souviner shopping. I always remind my children that 'charging privileges' are just that: a 'privilege' that can be remove... with one quick trip to guest services.

If you have a responsible child it would probably be okay to let them have charging privilege.

Got a UPS envelope from DCL today. Had all our final documents in it. Plus the luggage tags (lime green, again!). Plus a sheet of 4 different Halloween items you can purchase. And, a letter, that I haven't read yet.

Arlene- we do the CC kayak on the 2nd stop. You'll have to let us know how it is.

To accomplish this week: 2010 year fiscal planning at work. And, attend the 12th annual Dr and Mrs Burns Pediatric Lecture day. They were my grandparents. Topics include: Pediatric palliative care, ADHD, and pediatric neurological assessment. It is approved for MD and Nursing continuing education, but we have to get after them for Pharmacist credit.

Oh, and new tires for the SUV on Wednesday.

Now, off to read all the stuff DCL sent. (oh, no upgrade fairy here, but perhaps that means another DISer will be visited instead)
