Stopping in to say Hi to my fellow cruisers from last years DIS Halloween cruise around the moon. Hi Jackie & family Hi Sean & Christine Hi Pam, Burt & Taylor Hi Lennie & Al I think I saw Kimmie's name on your rooster too....Hi Kimmie & Noah . I wish we were cruising with you again this year. I have never had such a fun Halloween Bday as I did last year.

I hope to join the chat for a little while tonight, we are planning to stay home and watch the Hannah Montana/Miley cyrus concert. A thunderstorm is about to roll through and if we lose satalite reception I will have some very angry girls.

We're booked: got my cabana massage at 10 on day one; our power snorkel on cozumel and reserved the two day float rental on CC.

Got Palo for dinner with DH
Got GC Rum Beach and Stingrays, but still says 9:30 start time, what are they going to do, throw us off the boat???
Got two day rental at CC, but it only shows on Sunday!
Also, My resi is not linked to the other 2 rooms!

guess I will be calling DCL in the AM, but for now, OFF TO BED!

Guys, need pixie dust here....they messed up our ressies and didn't link them! Too long to go into but I'm very upset about this!

Sent e-mail to TA but will follow with phone call tomorrow to get this straightened out ASAP!

So happy that everyone was able to get what they wanted, though.
Brunch and tea were no goes for us too.

BUT we did get two 1 person dining reservations for Palos! Come see the lonely ones at their own tables! Only 10 cents....

so we've been out for a bit, whhhaaaa happened to Costa maya? and it looks like the departure times on both Cozumel and (now) Grand Cayman end early? whats up with that? tks

I got a letter today too telling me we are not sailing to costa maya after all
because we want to provide our guests with a more accommodating shore experience
Cozumel Tuesday and Grand Cayman Wednesday ( tender a shore )

hmmph...we didn't get a letter or a pkg for that matter....saw that some had received some sort of pkg around end of june

and how is that a "more accomodating shore experience" when it says we will be there from 11am to 4:30

and what do they mean by tender, is that when you have to go from ship to port in boats?
isn't that going to cut into the available time even more?????

I wouldn't worry to much about that. Our last cruise we walked on the boat and got brunch and high tea with no problems.

When is everyone going to Palo?

My family is going to Brunch on Day 6 at 11am.

My Dh and I are going to Palo dinner on Day 4 (Cozumel) at 8pm.

My parents are going to Palo dinner on Day 6 at 8pm.

My sister is hoping to get a Palo dinner seating on Day 2. Her window opens at 75 days.

I had fun last night in chat but I am exhausted today!

I had the same problem around 12:50 last night--I had it all done and then the system completely shut me out and when it went back in, it said someone who was linked to my stateroom was using my reservation. Anyways, I went to bed, couldn't sleep, finally got back up at a little after 2 and everything was fine, got it all booked except PALO BRUNCH--not available.

Hope you got it worked out!!

On a side note, it looks as if our litttle girls are around the same age. I have one who will be 6 and a 21 month old on this trip.

I have a 6 year and 5 year old girl as well as a 2 year old. We should get the 6 year old girls to meet up before hand. There seems to be a quite a few in that age group on this cruise from the board.

I'm glad that you were able to get things done last night. I didn't get to sleep until 3:30 this morning. Not doing well this morning.....exhausted!!!

Anyway, great that Tori and Ameera will have more little ones the same age there! You should get Janice (dizney-cruiser) your info so she can get it into post #1. (Have you checked that out?! Great information! Awesome job again, Janice - where is that little clapping smilie when you need it...this one works, though.... )


Here's the scoop after talking with two (YES, two!!!) CM's today. We have friends, it seems, that truly love us so much that they can't give us up. EVEN THOUGH THEY'RE NOT ON THIS CRUISE ANYMORE they are still linked to us!!!! Well, that is with the exception of Kathy and Katelyn (friends of Trish), who I believe are still cruising with us. So, we were hooked up with the Roses, Trish and family and Kathy still. The Roses had to cancel from this cruise. Trish had to reschedule and last I knew Kathy was still on this cruise.

So, with 5 or more cabins, they limit what you can book (ie: PALOS!!!) and who's names come up on the drop downs. Once they took the Roses off our ressie hookup, we were able to straighten out who could pickup the kids (I couldn't even p/u Tori from the OC!! MY own daughter!!) and the shore excursion. Palo's was as is but she said to check once we got on board. Bummer but a little ray of hope in the end....

Sorry that you are just getting the news Most of us did get a letter to explain the above.
When I did the research, I was able to guess at disney's reasoning. It seems the switch was to have us in the ports with less ships. If we would have kept the original schedule of Tuesday in Grand Cayman and Wednesday in Cozumel, we would have been the 5th ship in port in Grand Cayman. So while it is dissapointing to have a short time in port, I personally would rather not fight the crowds.

When we logged on it said we weren't paid in full yet, our balance said zero. We logged in and out a couple of times, and then were finally allowed in. Palo brunch was already gone, which stinks.

We were also booking the kids Dolphiaris shore excursion and the times didn't correspond with the observer (parents). We called DCL today and they said there was obviously a mistake, but they would call us back.

We have Palo dinner Cozumel day @ 8 pm.


I'm a little disappointed
