Stacy,
I second Cass & Sandi's replies. Work small and try to complete that then move onto bigger things. If you have a local scrapbook store in the area, check and see what types of classes they offer. Sometimes they are free others there is a small fee for. They usually have a beginner class to help with the newbies. I actually still take classes because I like to learn new things and it gets me out of the house for a bit. The other thing you could do is look for a local creative memories consultant. Alot of people start out with their products because it is quick and easy. They will teach you the basics. Some people stay with their way of scrapping and others expand. Don't get overwhelmed by the magazines, they can be intimidating. Remember, everyones first pages are not going to be the best, but it is neat to see how your style changes as you learn new things.
Have fun!!! I think you will like it.

ps tell Eric that we would have come looking for him if he had chosen to rebook!! LOL!!

What was he thinking...He must have gone blank for a moment.
WHEW, what work that was!! Now I can rest easier or go scrapbook my DMIL's album of our Disney trip last year with the grandkids. It is for her birthday at the end of this month! OMG, I dont have much time do I? Oh well, off to work on my other addiction!

At least it does for me. I am a compulsive buyer and always MUST have the latest in gadgets. Sometimes I think my cousins scrapbook with me just to use my tools! LOL! No really, they are not as addicted as I am. They enjoy the basic stuff, whereas I enjoy all of the toys.
Glad you'll be sailing with us! What a great birthday present. My birthday is November 4, so we'll be fresh off the cruise on my birthday. However I am more than willing to celebrate mine along with you, if it makes you feel any better!
(Heh, heh, I've always wanted to use that smilie!)
Our family consists of myself (37), dh (37), and dd (4). Our friends/family that will be joining us are... Sethsmama (hmmm
...today's her birthday, and I'm thinking she's 31?
), ds (5); the Crawfords - dh (40ish), dw (40?), ds (4); the Snyders - angelgirl0512 (?) (40ish), ds (18?), dd (4). With the exception of Sethsmama & ds-Seth, we all cruised on 11/30/03 for a 4 nt. cruise. It was wonderful, just too short to do everything!
