Well folks we are starting the journey tomorrow morn, drive to the doctor state (MD) pick-up the RV and my lovely bride, drive to JAX and stay till fri AM, get to PC early fri afternoon settle into Jetty Park for the night, watch our ship com in early sat morn and....

Just wanted to see if there are other children of the parents on this message board who'll be in the teen group; my brothers (14 and 16) and myself (17) are very excited, to say the least! Also, would anyone happen to know if they're doing a family talent show on the ship? A random question, I know, but if they do, I think it would be fun to do something with my brothers. lol We can't wait 'til Saturday!!

our neighbors were going to meet us there, unfortunately they procrastinated. I can't believe it's sold out, I guess I figured it wouldn't be that full and we would be able to wander freely. now it will be as crowded as Halloween??? how is that possible. it is official though, I have seen two spots where it noted that it is sold out. wonder what's going on...there must be some sort of event.

But, hey, only 3 more days until we sail!!!

OH MY GOSH!!!

Are you guys getting excited, or what!!! We fly out tomorrow night on a red eye and I feel like I am running around trying to get everything ready! I can't believe how many suitcases we are taking. I was going to try to pack light, but I don't know what happened! We might need to rent a bigger car!

we had purchased some magnet stuff from the $1 store. They said they were sticky on one side and we had intended on printing out our door signs and sticking them to it. So DW today goes to make the ears (a key element for any DISer) and while the white sheet peels off there is absolutely no sticky!

Now how can that be, an item from the $1 store not working as advertised!

What do you think the warranty is on that!!

so hopefully glue will do the trick...otherwise we are very sad.

but still, only 3 days to go!!!!

That last message made me think about the green Mickey Ears for the dis meet and the fact that I totally forgot to swing by Home Depot and pick some up and that it is now the last thing I would do since I am swamped. So if anyone has any extra and wants to bring them, great, otherwise we will be at the meet, sans green Mickey heads!

We are in Charlotte. This is our second Disney cruise. We are a family of 5, sons (15 and 6) and daughter (10). We are leaving on Friday night, driving to Jacksonville and heading the rest of the way on Saturday morning. I feel for you (5AM) that's rough.

Hey Kelly, thanks for the sympathy.... That early drive will be a piece o' cake this time, normally, we are pulling a 40' RV with us to camp at Ft. Wilderness this time of year. We got our Ft. Wilderness "fix" back in May so we could do the cruise now.

Anyway, there is just 3 of us, me, DW and DD, and our she is also 10. Maybe they can meet up at some point. Are you guys planning on attending the DIS meet on Saturday?

You guys have a safe trip, and we'll see you guys on the boat!

Is the meet still at 3:00 in the Promenade lounge?? We are planning on being there so I hope that is teh right time and place!

We are getting very excited The weather here has been unseasonably cold and wet and some warmth and sunshine sounds fabulous! Still have lots to do to get ready. Nothing is in the suitcase yet but there are piles of clothes everywhere and hangers with clothes hanging over our doors so that tomorrow I can throw it all in the suitcases. We leave early Fri. morning and have tickets for MNSSHP that night and then we'll drive to the Magic in the morning.

I just checked my reservation on DCL website and noticed they changed us from late to early seating! We will be at the 6:00 seating and am so glad I don't have to go change it once we board. We are so excited and just can't believe we will be at MNSSHP 48 hours from now! See you all soon

Is anyone else having problems sitting still today? We are all so excited! We have an early flight on Friday but I shouldn't complain because DB and his family have to leave Alaska at 1 am tommorow to arrive at 5:00 pm. We can't wait to meet everyone!

I should be packing but here I am instead I am so excited Our flight leaves tomorrow at 7:20 AM and Istill have some laundry to do and I need to pack and I want to try and get the house cleaned but I coudn't help checking in here, it is part of the excitement.

Smooch what time is your flight? Maybe we will even be in the Milwaukee airport at the same time tomorrow morning and could have a early meet there.

Well I better go throw in a load of laundry, finalize DH's clothes and start throwing more things in the suitcases.

Can't wait to meet everyone Sat.!

Smooch what time is your flight?

We have the 7:30 a.m. flight to Tampa so we'll be standing in the Midwest line together. My TA said both the Tampa and Orlando flights are full so be in line no later than 6:15 and expect it to be busy. Should we wear our Mickey heads and see if we can spot each other?? I'll probably be easily visible chasing a sleep-deprived 2 year old around.

We are stopping in Lakeland to visit my Grandpa, then spending the night at Best Western Lakeside in Kissimmee. We plan to go DTD for dinner then head to the port in the morning. OOOHhhh! I can't wait!!

Smooch Hi Kate we'll keep our eyes out for you tomorrow morning. We actually fly out at 7:30 also, when I typed the above post I must have hit the wrong key when I typed 7:20 . Thanks for the info about arriving to the airport early, we are planning on being dropped off by a little before 6:00. There are 3 of us, myself, DD12 who is about as tall as I am already and DH. We will have a red rolling back pack carry on with lime green ribbons tyed on it and DD has a tan duffle bag type of carry on. We'll watch for someone chasing around a little guy If we don't bump into each other have a safe trip and we paln on being at the meet on Sat.
