Morning Karen and Chris ( I guess our "naughty" girls in the US are still sleeping?)

I hope a DISSER called Disgrits gets to find our thread, they are now thinking of cruising on our cruise:thumbsup2 as the repo is no good for them.

Gosh, I'm so so glad we did the Magic for this year, originally we were going to do 2008 and give 2007 a break from Florida ( as we have been 4 times in 5 years) guess we were a bit scared to loose the thrill of the parks etc. We decided to do 2007, Magic, because Elouise is so "into" the characters.
Now I know for sure we will fly to miami in 2008 and cruise the Freedom of the Seas. Guess I had better be looking on cruise critic soon too:eek: now no house work will ever get done
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I just wish they'd told us about the REPO BEFORE we'd committed to 3 weeks this year as Hazel and the kids haven't been to the west coast and i aint sure we can run to another 3 weeks "big en" the year after as I'd like to do San francisco and Las Vegas before we cruise....And the money tree seems to think it's a bonsai .....:sad1:

Gym time....:rotfl2:

Karen option 3 sounds the best to me !!!! Any excuse to shop:thumbsup2

Brenda, you CANT leave this cruise..... you are our table mates, we have your HRC pins ( always a good point to remind you ;) ) and you owe me and Nancy a coffee in the cove :)

NO, NO, NO, YOU and JASON H A V E TO STAY WITH US !!!!!

Nancy, congratulations on the tag:thumbsup2

I think you guys should do what I do - don't iron at all!! :thumbsup2

AFEG - I've been thinking about the Repo prices and you may be right, depending on the cost of category 6 for 2 adults coming east in August. But...if we were to take that cruise we'd have to cancel this one...can't afford to spend that much cashola with DCL two years in a row.

I wonder how vacation club points translate... :confused3

Stop this nonsense talk about cancelling!! I won't have it!!! I know where you live Brenda and I know where you work. I'm sure your workplace has some painted lines in the parking lot....need I say more??:lmao:

It's bad enough that I detect some yammering about Jeff cancelling this one.:sad2:

I also heard (don't ask me who told me, I won't tell) that vacation points won't translate for the Repo cruises.

 Nancy

Hi folks

Just back from aqua and I feel better for it - took all my aggression out on the water and I'm now feeling better:)

The first washing load is on and I'm about to hoover:scared1: - its been 2 days - what will I find:eek:

Will be back when I have rediscovered the patten on my carpet:rotfl2:

Afternoon everyone in the UK. Good morning everyone across the Pond.

Weather better than yesterday - high winds and lashing rain. Caused chaos over here.

The Repo cruise looks so tempting, through the Panama Canal. But with our Alaska Cruise in May looming its just a bit too beyond our pockets at the moment. Need to get my head round what to pack, etc. Anyone got any advice?

Karen - I've got cleaning to do later on - but if you're finished you can come and do mine??? LOL

Heather

Aaahhhhh Chris that is just tooo cute:goodvibes

Well, housework is partly done. I have even been outside and swept and picked up all the branches and twigs that blew down from yesterdays weather. We were lucky - our neighbour has lost 6 panels of fencing:eek: and my friend took 4 hours to get home cos her trains werent working.

Heather - I'm still :laundy:. - theres no end to it all.:sad2:

Hi everyone 9 months from now at this time we will be in the air flying to Orlando

Heather are you going on the Alaska cruise this May or May 2008? A cruise of Alaska is a dream of mine and hopefully we will be able to do that in the future. (I would actually rather cruise Alaska than the Panama Canal) What cruise line are you going on?

I too have cleaning and a mountain of laundry waiting for me today but here I sit catching up on the DIS :surfweb: this beats cleaning and laundry any day.

Lindy Loo I saw the post by disgrits too and I posted the link to this thread to help them find their way here ;)

Hi all! Thanks for the invite over here, ladies! I have to make this quick since I have to get the kids off to school.....I'll join the thread later today.

We are so excited to cruise...me, DH, DD13, DS11, DS7. Of course the kids don't know anything yet. They think we are going in 08.

Ok, more later.....I hope I dont' blow off my laundry again today!!!:rotfl:

Thanks again!:goodvibes :goodvibes

Hi disgrits glad you found us! Welcome to our group! My DD Rachel will be 13 at the time of the cruise also and there are quite a few other girls that are 13 or close to it that are cruising with us. Rachel even started a kids meet thread for the kids to start getting to know each other beforehand and she has been emailing some of the girls too. Will you be telling your kids soon or is it going to be a surprise. If you are telling your kids beforehand here is the link to the kids thread http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1263210&goto=newpost Rachel originally was posting under my signature but she now has her own Tinker_Belle

Here I still sit on the DIS instead of getting my laundry and cleaning done :rotfl: I better at least go put a load of laundry in the washing machine so I can be doing something while I'm sitting here

Ok, I managed to get the kids off to school and I even went to the gym (something totally new for me)!

A little more about who we are.....

I am the "crazy for Disney planner"...Paige. My husband, Rob, is in the US Marine Corps and we presently live in Monterey, CA, and are heading to Quantico, VA, in the summer. So, no Disney trip this summer for us. We are orginally from Louisiana, a small cajun town called Delcambre. Our daughter is Emily, age 13 (14 when we sail), in 8th grade, a softball fanatic! Our son, Derek is 11 and loves everything Disney...and video games! Our littlest one, Alex, is 7 (when we sail, he will be 1 month shy of 8), and he is a sports fan, especially football--go LSU! Go Saints!

We are all thrilled to go on this trip and the only thing that will make us postpone is if, in my husband's new job, he gets pulled to go to Iraq (which I highly doubt will happen--maybe I am in denial).

We have been on the Disney Wonder for a 3 day, and of course we were hooked! I can't wait to see the Magic and enjoy all that is offered on a 7 day that we couldn't do on a 3 day cruise. I've already checked out a few excursions, and of course trying to get the biggest bang for our buck!

Anyway, I am sure that I have told you way more than you ever wanted to know....tell me about yourselves....:)

Oh my goodnes, I just realized that there are 121 pages to this thread.......I have major catching up to do.......THERE GOES THE HOUSEWORK AND LAUNDRY!!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

This could get confusing! - we both have the same avatar! :rotfl:
I'm Karen, hubby is Neil and our ds is Ellis. We are from Birmingham, UK.
We are cruising for the first time although we have visited wdw loads of times.

Yep - you have a lot of reading - 1817 posts I think! We're a chatty bunch! You may just finish by the time we board!

Now Santa gone until next year and we only have 8 months or so left before we cruise we really do need to start and try post more here people....:lmao:

Looks like you were right i was wrong:worship:BLOODY HOW MUCH?:scared1:

Just got off the phone with a supervisor at DCL and i asked about a ball park figure for a CAT6,two adults and two 13year olds it will be OVER $12,000 was her answer....:sad2:
I'll still be trying on the 31st but the lady spoke of $9,500 for a cat 11 so things aint looking great.....:sad2:

Jason already nixed the Panama Canal cruise with DCL - he said he wants to do something non-disney next year.

Fair enough, I've got plenty of ideas....

Hawaii
Jamaica
Peters Island (British Virgin Isles)
England, Scotland, Ireland
Other cruise lines headed to places like Curaco and Aruba...

The list goes on for miles and miles.....
