Nudging...

I worked out yesterday and my legs are killing me.

After working out I tried some of Jay's Imperial Stout (a holiday brew from a local brewery) and it was good but I woke up with a headache.

Doesn't anyone have any chocolate to make this all better? ;)

Belated Happy Birthday Jeff :bday: :cake: Have a great trip. So far it looks like it will be rain on Thur. not snow pixiedust: so hopefully you won't have any problems getting out.

Cass what an adorable picture of Kira!!!

It sounds like everyone is doing so very good with their exercising! I took the dog for a 3 mile walk last week and my shins were killing me for a few days after so I haven't gotten out there again. I am thinking of signing up to walk a 1/2 marathon in Green Bay in May so that should get me more motivated. Keep up the good work everyone!

Cass - Kira is so cute. Watch out for Nancy though! Kira might not have any cheeks left when Nancy's done with her!

Anyone watch the recent "punching Tigger" video? It's so obvious that the boy was doing something behind Tigger's back, which knocked him off balance as he tried stopping the boy. How awful!

OK, listening to all you exercise do-gooders is really starting to get to me. Maybe it's just the motivation I need to start exercising myself!

Happy B'day to both Chuck & Jeff!

And Jeff, have a great time on your upcoming trip! Make sure Suz has a really great time so she'll definitely want to return in Oct!

Thanks everyone for the birthday and upcoming cruise wishes. Sorry I haven't had time to post or bump (actually got some sleep last night - with the help of a Tylenol PM). Work has been very busy and I only have 2 days left before we leave.

Cheryl, the weather just looks like rain at the end of this week, but looking at the long range forecast for next week, it looks like you guys will have cold temps the middle of next week (mid teens for highs, around 0 to 5 for lows). That can all change because we all know weather people don't know what they're talking about. :confused3 I've been watching both the forecast for here and on the cruise for the 10 days we're gone. I post the forecast for each on my office door right before I leave. :rotfl2: I'll post it here as well.

Karen, Suz laid out DS's clothes already and started to pull some of hers. She's off on Wednesday so she'll get hers and his in the suitcase. I'm easy and will be done in 30 minutes. I just have to decide what color scheme I want to go with and then put in 3 shorts, 2 pants, and a few tops. We do laundry 1/2 through our trip (usually on Monday since it is a sea day), so I don't have to bring too much.

Nancy, I don't think baby cheeks are on the diet plan for this year. Nevertheless, Cass better keep Kira away from you.

Jeff

Bumping:rolleyes1

Feeling very righteous... 1 hour in the gym with personal trainer,1/2 an hour on my own in the gym, 20 mins swim, then jacuzzi:cloud9:

Fingers crossed I dont ache tomorrow:eek:

When I start working out after I haven't in a while, I take Ibuprofin every night when I go to bed. I helps a lot. After a week or two when you're back in a routine, you don't need it anymore. But the jacuzzi sounds good.

Correction to my post above about the MKE temps next week. It seems like Accuweather is not to ACCUrate. The forecasts seem to go back an forth from one day to the next. Now the highs will be around 20 and the lows at 10-15. And, the cold is now later in the week.

They keep going back and forth with the forecasts. One day next week shows bitter cold, the next it is back to around normal, then back to bitter cold and then now it is back to around normal. :confused3

I'm having the same issue with Nassau (the closest major city to Castaway Cay). One day it is sunny and in the upper 70's/low 80's, the next it is barely to 70 and winds about 30-35 mph. Again, going back and forth with the prediction.

If there are 30-35 mph winds, the sea will be so rough I don't think we'll be docking. Plus, how enjoyable will it be with sand blowing in your face.

BTW, isn't 35 mph the low end of tropical storm winds? :scared1:

I should have became a weatherman. I can't see my company allowing me to be wrong 50% of the time on the financial statements.

Thanks for the tip - I'll try it tonight.:thumbsup2 I usually wait til morning then take it when I realize I cant walk:rotfl:

Jeff - hope you get to dock at Castaway - what an awful shame if you dont.:sad1: Fingers crossed for great weather.:beach:

Are any UK cruisers having their Hep and Tetnus ( sp? ) jabs before they cruise???

Just saw on the forum, that its seems "recommended" for the Western cruise.

I had a 10 year lot of shots, which was madatory when we went to Kenya, but that was sadly 11 years ago, ............so I need it again! :scared1:

Guess I will have to check with the doc, bet its going to hurt,............... not just in the bum, but in the wallet too !!!:rotfl2:

Hi Lindy - I read that too! No jabs for me:scared:

I dont intend being off the boat for that long or hiking through woodland or wetland etc so no needles thank you! You'll find me lying on a sunlounger with a nice cocktail in each hand - no danger there that a paracetamol wouldnt cure I hope:rotfl:

I'd be interested to know what your doc says though.

Just wanted to wish you a Happy Birthday too Jeff!!!

Oh and Nanc, go ahead and squeeze Kira's cheeks all you want, I will have her well trained by then :goodvibes She has a lot of family here that will be squeezing them already

We are bracing for a cold front coming in....it's been really nice here with temps of about 30-50 F for the past 7 weeks. Last time it was cold, I was in the hospital giving birth!

Thanks Cass.

O.K., I'm starting to see a pattern here. Kira is born, cold front. Kira is going to be baptized, cold front. Kira's going on the cruise in October, hey wait a second :cold: . Just Kidding :lmao:

Good thing her looks warm a heart instantly.

Forget this gentle bumping, this thing needs a real good kick in the.....

O.K., I'll be nice to our little thread here.

Now, now, we only bump you because we love you.
