My goodness, I hope that's not true!!! :sad2: I am about the size of the Goodyear Blimp now! Boy am I gonna have to log some miles on my elliptical next year!! :rolleyes1 Hope your knee feels better soon!!!!

Thanks for asking Jo :grouphug:
Honestly, it's been rough. But I have an AMAZING husband who has been taking such good care of me, so I can't complain too much. He's normally a great husband but lately, he has really stepped it up, I think I will keep him  Despite his THREE jobs, he has basically taken over most of the housework, gets me anything I need, want or desire and NEVER EVER complains!!! He rubs my back, my feet, my legs for as long as I need and never asks for anything in return. I am truly a lucky girl princess:

He took the puppies into the groomers today (their first time, as I can no longer bathe them myself! :sad2: ) so I have about 2-3 hours of blissful, puppy-free time to myself! :dogdance: So, what to I do?? I end up vacuuming, dusting and doing laundry (shhh, don't tell Rob! :ssst: )

Oh well, I think I will go rest now. ;)

Take care everyone!

Oh lord please let the above post vanish into cyberspace before MY wife ever finds it..... :guilty:

Good morning folks

Well, I am no longer hobbling around like an old woman and I can bend my knee again so I'm on the mend. It hurt like hell to drive last night but thank god its an automatic and I didnt have to keep changing gears so I got there and back ok.

It had better be ok cos I'm on yet another of Ellis' school trips tomorrow - 9am - 3pm at some open air museum - gonna freeze :sad2:

I feel like I live in school at the moment - yesterday I trained the staff on using the Epipen for Ellis' allergy, then I was in a meeting re fundraising and ended up volunteering to organise stuff for the school family disco - why cant I keep my mouth shut when the school asks for volunteers? :confused3 - everyone else manages to! The way I look at it is if no-one will do anything the only ones to lose out are the kids themselves. We raised £4000 last year and managed to buy a huge interactive white board for the class and still had a £1000 left towards the next one.

We are doing a "coppers" trail in 2 weeks time in the playground. We have to save our pennies and twopennies and then lay them on the ground in the playground to see how long we can make the line. All proceeds for this though are going to Children in Need so none for the school this time but it still means freezing in the playground all morning :sad2: - thermals!

After that, its time to wrap about 400 presents for the school - Santa comes to all the kids - thats one thing I cant volunteer for! :rotfl: - one of the mums has a rather rounded hubby that fills that roll without needing padding :teeth: - even his ow n2 sons didnt recognise him last year :rotfl2:

Oh well.... I shouldnt be sitting here - things to do..bye for now :wave2:

ps - Cass - do you loan your hubby out? - he sounds like Mr Perfect :teeth: He could give mine a lesson or two

CHRIS See? I didn't call you "AFEG" this time.

You are too too funny. I'm still giggling over your Hall Monitor Qualifications!!

Nancy :wave2:

It's voting day!! Get out there and vote well and vote often!! :teeth:

:lmao:

Sorry, he's all mine! No loaners, although he could probably made loads of $$$$ that way!!

Sorry Chris, he makes ALL husbands look bad! Although my luck seems to suck in all other aspects of my life, I definitely lucked out in the hubby department.
So I will take 'em where I can get 'em!

Brenda, I had a dream last night I was in a foreign HRC and just as I was checking out (it was also a hotel in my dream, as well as a Sears....go pregnancy dreams!!!) , I was like...oh hey! I can get a pin for B & J!!! So I went up to the cash but they said they were out and that you had to be there the DAY they released the pins if you had any hope of actually getting one! So I ended up buying you a George Foreman gril!! :rolleyes1 You grill right??

"Sorry Chris, he makes ALL husbands look bad!"

Don't worry cass i make HOMER SIMPSON look like every womens dream,i keep telling the wife what a lucky lady she is.. :rolleyes1 ..

Cass, I dream like that all the time and I can't blame it on being pregnant. :lmao:

That's too funny - I can't wait to tell Jason about it.

Hey, while you're around, do you know how I can share the Plankton DVD with you all? Jason burned it to a DVD but I don't know how to get it somewhere that you guys could watch it (assuming that you would want to and then wouldn't blackball Jason & me from the thread because you secretly fear for your safety).

I swear we're harmless!

Brenda,

Well, it really depends on how big the file is and what kind of file it is. YouTube is a free video site but I think they only allow small files under 1 minute long.

I just checked photobucket which also lets you upload video, it says up to 5 mins but not sure how big a file it will accept.

Just go to your main page and click on "add video" and see if that works for you.

If those don't work, let me know how big your file is and I will try to work something out for you.

Thanks Cass. We'll give it a try in the next day or two and see what happens.

Hope you're doing well!

We were getting perilously close to dropping off the first page so I felt compelled to post something.

I stayed up until 2AM this morning watching the election returns - this was the most fascinating election I've seen since the 1992 presidential contest. I'm not going to get into any political stuff here, but it's refreshing to see so many people going to the polls in a mid-term election.

Hope everyone is doing well.

B. :goodvibes

Hey Brenda, Always wondered...what's the story behind the St. Louis Arch??
I spent a weekend in St louis when I was 16 and it didn't interest me, but it does now.

Nancy...are you being serious or are you yanking my chain? :teeth:
