Jeff,

those are fabulous ideas! I actually would love to go to the British VI - it looks gorgeous and a lot less commercial than St. Thomas.

I guess you guys have noticed that I'm sort of all over the place here...it's hard to plan when you're married to someone who hates making decisions. I have a certain dollar limit to work within and then I can't go any further, which is why the REPO is now out of reach.

No big deal, but I wish DCL wouldn't work so hard at giving us sticker shock all the time.

St Lucia is lovely Brenda was stayed there 6 years ago. Never been to the other places... oh whoops, forgot we married in Jamaica... :lmao: we married in the Sandals Dunns River, it was very romantic, etc great for weddings. We did some trips, cycled down the Blue mountains, Climed Dunns river etc.

Any thoughts please on two ideas of mine...

Paradise Beach.... Think we will do this in Cozumel, as Elouise saw a photo of the trampoline in the sea and is keen to try. Is there a minimum age/height?
How far is this from the port, can we do our own taxi there and back ?

Secondly ,I saw Stingray city in Grand Cayman, again any thoughts? I wonder if E ( and Me) might freak out when we feel the stingrays around us.

Thanks guys..............

Yes we've managed to secure a Cat 11 on the repo cruise for 17th August 2008.

We must be mad...but don't worry we'll still be joining you in October.:rotfl2:

Linda,

We actually did both on our cruise the other week.

Paradise Beach is a $13 cab ride from the pier. Same price back. You'll get there in about 15 minutes.

We did not buy the wrist band for the water activities. DS preferred to sit right by the water and play in the sand. I don't recall how little of kids I saw on the trampoline. I believe the "iceberg" would be difficulat for a younger person to climb. What you may want to do is look them up on the web. I thought they had a site. If not, look up Mr. Sancho's. It is just down the beach from Paradise and has the same things.

As for the sting rays, DS freaked but that was even before we got in. He was a trooper and took a great picture. After that, he wanted to get on the boat. He's afraid of big animals. The neighbor's dog jumped him once and he's been afraid of things since. Not sure if he thinks he'll get stung or what. They feel kinda cool. They'll brush up against you without even knowing it. DW wouldn't feed them, but she was fine touching them and being touched by them. I fed them. The first time I didn't open my hand fast enough and it felt like it nibbled my finger (they don't have teeth). The second time it worked fine and it sucked the squid right out of my hand.

Jeff

Bumping before I hit the hay early...me so sleepy (and I haven't even taken anything yet!).

'Night all. :goodvibes

Ooh, it's been quiet here the past couple of hours. Everyone so worn out from all the Repo figuring?!! There's been some major number crunching going on here!

Nancy, the Passporter arrived! Thanks a million. Haven't even had time to crack it open yet. The last few days at work have been just awful. I'll probably absorb some of it this weekend.

If DCL was doing Hawaii, we'd definitely jump all over that. Thinking maybe in 2009 or 2010, when the girls are older, we'll head out west. Get some Disneyland time in, and try to get to Hawaii.

I agree Linda, the Freedom or Liberty are quite tempting. What mega ships!

Ugh, Katie's coughing up a storm tonight. I just cringe everytime I hear it. I HATE it when the girls are sick.:guilty:

Lindy - www.paradisecozumel.com has details on San Fran beach. From the video clip I have seen the iceberg is quite a way to sea and its really meant for older kids like teens. The trampoline looks good but the video only shows a woman doing backflips - show off! I have heard it gets VERY busy:confused3

There are a few other options: www.mrsanchos.com, chankanaab - www.cozumelparks.com, www.playamia.com, www.cozumelexcursions.com/allinclusiveresort.htm.

There...... that should keep you busy! (if they all work that is!)

Tina - sorry to hear the girls aer no better. Ellis came home yesterday with a terrible chesty cough - he barks like a dog. The poor thing has his class assembly today too and he's worried he wont be able to say his lines.

Heather - congrats on the next cruise:banana: - we'll expect a postcard:rotfl:

have a nice day everyone:wave2:

See you there Heather,we'll be easy to spot we'll be ones in the old clothes and look like they haven't eaten for months....:rotfl2:

You managed to convince Hazel then?:lmao: :lmao:

Can you send me the image file for the pirate logo in your signature? Haven't figured out where they are stashed.

Ta - Heather pirate:

I'll try,but holding your breath while i manage this could seriously damage your health...:)

Ta - Heather pirate:

Heather, Once Chris sends that logo over to you are you planning on printing that to a transfer and ironing it onto your new Fish Extender for the repo??

Sure wish we were going....:cutie:

Well, it's probably going to be a busy couple weeks at work for me. Three of our sales people are on vacation (Florida and Mexico) and I get to cover for them. A memo went around yesterday telling everyone that the "Sales Manager" Nancy will be covering all sales calls. Huh??? When did I get promoted? Apparently, yesterday. :lmao: Hmmmm, maybe a few "sick days" for me are coming up soon.:rotfl2:

I probably won't be able to sneak onto the DISboards during the day for awhile and when I get home I MUST EXERCISE!!
I goofed off all January on this diet and I have to get serious now. If I don't I may have to rent an additional cabin.:sad2:

Glad you got the Passporter. Now if I'd only receive mine. If I never receive it, it's ok. SIL has the same one I sent to you and she'll never look at it. I can just take hers.

You'd think the Passporter people would send out their books to the contest winners first.:confused3

Hope Katie is feeling better soon.
