October 20th 2007 Western Magic Part 9

Walt, I was just looking through some of my recipes..Do y'all eat cabbage casserole or cabbage rolls? I have a great (my grandma's homemade) recipe for cabbage casserole in the rice cooker. Let me know if you want it.:goodvibes

Hi Carrie:wave2:
Question for you. Our schools are going to a modified traditional schedule starting next year and there is a possibility that the kids will be off 2 weeks during late Sept or early Oct. We want to go to the Grand Canyon and was wondering if this is a good time for that? Or what about around Easter time (March or April).

Hmmm. Loaded question. Are you wanting to go to just the south side or the north side. The north side closes in Oct for the winter months. They have more chances for snow and can not keep that side running. South side is open year round. I would say Sept. Oct. on the stand point that you would most likely go through Flag to get there and you could see the leaves changing at that point.

If you come through the valley let us know and we can all get together.

Ok I am going to bed. I am hoping that Mac sleeps through the night. She has not done that more then one night since we have been home from the trip.

Explain this one please.

Seriously after I posted it I was thinking of how the heck to do it. Basically kind of like secret santa, everyone that wants to participate puts in their name and then (this is where I am stumped) everyone that participates has a person they are assigned to and you buy them an ornament and send it to them.

Probably the south rim. Thinking about renting an RV and driving there and spending a couple of days and heading back. May actually hit Vegas too which I have never been to.

True.

Disney Cruise-- $3500.00+

Konked Kooler--$ 8.00+

Mike dancin' in Rockin Bar D wearing a bra and red lipstick----PRICELESS!!!

That Grand Canyon is the flippin' High Desert! It's cold up there! I would think the closer to summer the better. We did an AZ trip once in our RV and Baked in Southern AZ then drove up to The GC and had to disconnect our water supply at night to keep it from freezing solid!

Good morning everyone:goodvibes

Gettin' chilly burrrrr! It was cold, grey and raining all day--today. The norm I guess if your from the UK, like our friends from across the pond. What's new with you and sweet-tart annihilator?

Oh yeah:sad2: - our weather is awful at the moment - I have to scrape the car from frost every morning

Sounds a little like our weather today. It was gray and light raining all day. But it was only light jacket weather.

light jacket weather:eek: - we're in big winter coats, scarves and hats and gloves already - I hate the cold:scared:

May get some rain here this weekend, but we have had 70 degree weather here, really nice. But I wouldn't know since I am stuck in an office all day.:sad2:

Wow! 70 degrees:beach: - I wish I was back on Castaway Cay:sad1:

Here's one for all the "personalities" on here....Morning Karen

Do you need a laugh??

What Religion is Your Bra?

A man walked into the ladies department of a Macy 's

and shyly walked up to

the woman behind the counter and said,

"I'd like to buy a bra for my wife. "

" What type of bra?"

asked the clerk.

" Type?" inquires the man, "There's more than one type?"

" Look around,"

said the saleslady,

as she showed a sea of bras in every shape, size, color

and material imaginable.

"Actually,

even with all of this variety,

there are really only

four types of bras to choose from ."

Relieved, the man asked

about the types.

The saleslady replied:

"There are the Catholic,

the Salvation Army,

the Presbyterian,

and the Baptist types.

Which one would you prefer?"

Now totally befuddled,

the man asked about

the differences between them.

The Saleslady responded,

"It is all really quite simple. ...

The Catholic type

supports the masses;

The Salvation Army type lifts the fallen;

The Presbyterian type keeps them staunch and upright; and

The Baptist makes mountains out of mole hills."

Have you ever wondered why A, B, C, D, DD, E, F, G, and H are the letters used

to define bra sizes?

If you have wondered why,

but couldn't figure out

what the letters stood for,

it is about time

you became informed!

(A} Almost ****s...
{B} Barely there...
{C} Can't Complain!...
{D} Dang!...
{DD} Double dang!...
{E} Enormous!...
{F} Fake...
{G} Get a Reduction...
{H} Help me, I've fallen

and I can't get up!...

Send this to

all that will appreciate it!

They forgot the German bra.

Actually Becky, you could just have Sean pick all the names for us. Then he'd HAVE to sign on to the DIS to pm us each with our picks.

That's how we kill two birds with one stone, huh? :rotfl2:

If this takes off, count me in! :yay:

I'd be up for an ornament exchange....

Good morning/afternoon everyone!

If it's five o'clock somewhere, why am I still at work?

With the price of "GAS" going up over there at such a rate maybe you could send it out as a flyer to all the KK gang Paige....:rolleyes1

My last one i promise...

A tough old cowboy from Montana , counseled his grandson that if he
wanted to live a long life, the secret was to sprinkle a pinch of gun
powder on his oatmeal every morning.

The grandson did this religiously to the age of 103. When he died he
left 14 children, 30 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, 25
great-great grandchildren, and a 15-foot hole where the crematorium
used to be.
